Oh god, those kiters... Flavour wise it kills low attack minions because newbs are very, very squishy (And sometimes dumb enough to think they can damage kited minions).
More of a joke entry than anything else, but theoretically balanced. Kills things like Sludge Belchers and forces trades from Emperor Thaurrisan and other 5 attack minions (It will target other minions before itself at the 5 attack range). It can ofc gain attack buffs. The point of the kiter is for balance.... and mostly flavour. The Devilsaur will prioritize minions summoned first (like a deathrattle chain would) at the same attack range, just as an aside.
But of course, why would you want something like this? Well, you might want something like this as a ramp druid- On turn five you can start wrecking your opponents board turn after turn, especially against mech Mage and Hunter, who don't often have Nerubian Egg.
This is a throwback to the toughest quest line ever in wow. Very few accomplished it in Vanilla. The idea is like the fight. You end up with a permanent power boost, while your enemy can help vanquish you. This was the final fight before obtaining your legendary. I chose 2 spell damage and healing as it synches with all caster classes.
Manas Shield is an effect that occurs when the minion takes damage. You have the option to prevent a point of that damage for 1 mana, up to the charge of the shield. Once the shield is depleted you can't get it back-it is a one-time deal. You can activate Mana Shield at any time. For example if your opponent attacks Aquementas with a 3/3, and you had 3 extra mana crystals from your last turn, you could prevent all three of that damage. If it was 4 attack and you only had 2 mana crystals, you could block 2 and then have the option to block 1 more damage later in the game. This minion was created with the goal that it could improve decks with a central them of utilizing spell damage(i.e. by making it easier to get out a buffed Master of Ceremonies)
I love the idea of adding hand scouting affects to Hearthstone, but I think it's definitely powerful enough to be confined to a legendary. Tbh I considered making him a 4/2 because the affect seems like it could potentially be a little too good against some combo decks.
Anyway it's Mathias Shaw, the leade r of S:I7 and a face most vanilla Alliance rogues will recognize!
Elemental Prodigy is a 1 mana shaman card that requires an attack buff such as Rockbiter Weapon to be useful. I'm still not sure if it should have an overload or not.
Added attachment because the card did not show up for me
Although he has fallen eventually, but he still is one of the most powerful priest. Balanced card IMO, could be played at 10 mana with Holy Nova to deal 3 AoE damages.
I was always auto-running the long, almost straight road of Duskwood to get to Raven Hill quests ( Back and forth most often...Ha, Vanilla quest design ) or Stranglethorn Valley. I didnt put my HS to Booty Bay, probably because I didn't know better, or because running from there would get me killed more often than in the 20-30 level zone that is Duskwood. Little did I know, Stitches is one hell of a fight for his zone level.
I think Stitches is my most memorable NPC from Vanilla, probably since I didn't get into raiding until later into WoW. I often got killed by him by lack of attention while running ( No mount until 40 - or worse if you didn't make enough gold - back then, the struggle ) and finally did the whole quest where you witness as he is unleashed onto your poor fellows several times
Even to this day it's his name that comes to my mind when people say "gank", despite me playing several other games where it has a clearer meaning.
To Stitches, the one true ganker ; A little hommage to his habit of attacking you when, really, you just wanted to kill a few undeads.
Put into the Battlefield: "The Crossroads are under attack!"
Attacking: "Aha!"
Death: "Lok'tar.. ogar..
Clarification/Description: Everyone remembers Sergra, maybe not her name exactly. But if you ever were around the Crossroads during Vanilla.. either you ran to her, or you ran from her. I wanted to reflect that with her card by allowing her to immediately attack and hit you pretty hard and with the inspire, put up some defense for her like in WoW how guards spawn. I think she's a great fit for Warrior decks, as she's a hard hitting mid-game drop with some defensive mechanics!
The first thing that came up when I thought about Vanilla WoW was the Dire Maul instance, and one of my favorite items in the game back then - the Gordok Ogre Suit. The disguise gives the player the appearance of an Ogre for 10 minutes, allowing him or her to sneak past the Ogres in the instance. The suit also worked outside of the instance, and people used to have a lot of fun trolling with it in the major cities because of that.
The card itself clearly has its place in a Zoo'ish deck, transforming tokens into powerful, but unreliable Ogre Brutes. The card is already popular in arena and might make an appearance in constructed - if only indirectly through Gordok Ogre Suit.
So yeah, my submission isn't about a famous NPC, it's the player himself dressing up as an Ogre :). Think of it as a Flametongue Totem kind of NPC.

Even though we really don't need a source for this one :p
REMOVED
Maybe... nah nah nah nah
I figured there should be a card that encouraged shamans to overload.

Hi guys! This is my sub for this weekly card design :)
Fankriss the Unyielding is the third boss in the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj.

Edits were from a first time user trying to figure out imgur and the site. Apologies.

Loksey was once my nightmare when he shouts "Unleash the Hounds!"
