Hunter Secret. In truth, I wanted to make a Warlock Secret. However, I want to stay consistent with the game. I wanted to make Secrets with heroes that already have established themselves with Secrets. I feel that Hunter is lacking some new Secrets so here's my idea. :)
I feel like your opponent can easily play around Conversion so the effect isn't too strong for 1 mana. If you succeed, you're effecitvely killing a minion by rendering it useless and making it a dead weight. However, there are plenty of options for your opponent to get value out of the minion again: Defender of Argus, Shadowflame. Also, flavour.
This card is simple, the goal of it is to play mindgames with your opponent and make him play sub-optimally by checking every possible mage secret. Also has great synergy with Secretkeeper , Ethereal Arcanist, and Illuminator
"My mind to your mind... my thoughts to your thoughts..."
Card gives aggro priest a bump. The idea being that if your hand is empty when this triggers you draw 3 cards. But also fun if you have 3 crappy cards in your hand (spare parts ftw). Potentially good draw and has a nice potential to upset opposing combo decks. Also just useful to try and trade a card in your hand that isn't that useful for a 2nd try at something better. (say a late draw of a 2cc minion or a tech card that just isn't that useful in the current match)
This is my submission! The empowered version of secrets are here:
3 mana Secret While this secret is in play, empower your next two secrets that trigger. Empowered Mirror Entity: make two copies instead. Empowered Ice Barrier: freeze the attacking minion. Empowered Vaporize: destroy a random adjacent minion as well. Empowered Spellbender: summons a 3/5 instead. Empowered Ice Block: Return Ice Block to your hand at the end of your next turn Empowered Counterspell: add the countered spell to your hand. Empowered Duplicate: When a friendly minion dies, put a copy of it into play and another in your hand. Empowered Avenge: give a random friendly minion +4/4 Empowered Noble Sacrifice: summon a 2/1 with divine shield instead. Empowered Redemption: Bring a minion back to life with full health and divine shield. Empowered Eye for an Eye: Deal that much damage to the attacking minion as well Empowered Penance: also reduce the minions attack to 1 and give it taunt. Empowered explosive trap: deal 4 damage to all enemies instead. Empowered Freezing Trap: Freeze Adjacent minions this turn as well. Empowered Misdirection: Guaranteed to hit the enemy hero. Empowered Snake Trap: summon 3 venomous snakes instead. (1/1s with emperor cobra ability) Empowered Snipe: When your opponent plays a minion, destroy it.
You'll notice there is all those other class secrets that aren't in mage. Why is that? Lorewalker Cho and Kezan Mystic are just two ways that a class can get the secret.
The ability to empower secrets would be better on a minion but this is a secrets thread! I also saw a secret that does "nothing" but that gives it synergies (Secretkeeper, Ethereal Arcanist and Illuminator) and your opponent will play around it. Tell me what you guys think over in the discussion thread!
Low Mana cost as it is relatively situational but maybe it should cost 2. Should work fine against hunters. Rogues of course can activate it by using their hero power.
Another boon to Mill Druid in line with Emerald Dream from last week, you combo it with Poison Seeds obviously. Also has application in the Druid mirror effectively negating the combo.

secret for mill druid
0 cards if uses The Coin or Moonfire
10 cards if uses Pyroblast or Mindcontrol
Extremely simple, but effective. It's better than Ice Barrier in some situations, since it prevents all damage that turn, but it can also be worse.

I know warriors are'nt subtle at all, but how about warrior secrets?
Easy to play around (at least for rogues and other weapon classes) but quite effective in case you can take advantage of it.

i am not sure how secrets would work for classes other than hunter, mage, paladin. but my warlock entry:
more demonology power and a bit of rush protection.

Note that "switch" means it reshuffles the targeted minion into your deck afterwards.
Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice - Sneak Review! http://www.thepoxbox.com/challenges.php?id=batmanvsuperman
Pros: can be better than spellbender since it redirects the spelle to an enemy and doesn't just negate it
Cons: In a control game, players usually target minions early game and not your hero.
So I actually made this secret BEFORE the competition. BEHOLD the paladin secret for protecting dat Ashbringer. Kind of. In an ineffective way.
Sleight of Hand. 2 mana rogue secret. Should be on par with stuff like acidic ooze and jones, both of which are two for one anti weapon cards.

Feel free to contact me if you have Hearthstone questions. I'm a retired magic pro, and love talking about the game.

More traps!!
P.S. The idea of making a secret for a class which had none before is a no-go. Your opponent will always know what it is and play around it.

Just sort of skimming through the thread and I guess there's a couple weapon secrets already? Well, here's mine, too cause why not

I have no time for gains!
We don't have to create our own art, right? Cause in that case disregard this :F
