Now that Reno decks are top tier I am realizing more and more that he is bad card design. While he does encourage unique deck building, he is such a ridiculous swing card in aggro and midrange matchups.
Did you draw Reno? Yes - Win. No - Lose. It's silly luck-of-the-draw.
I am a fairly new player and I would say I will be very happy to see Reno go to wild. There is little more frustrating than diligently chopping away at what seems to be a haphazard gathering of freak cards only to have the opponent heal for 25 and slap down Ragnaros on the next turn.
I have used Reno myself in a few games and felt all dirty afterwards. I won't even go there with pirates. It's not like there is any moral high ground to take but I don't want to play something I am sick of seeing myself. Which I guess is why people are complaining that the meta is shitty right now? I don't know--I am too new to judge.
I hate seeing the same priests, same mages and same warlocks, therefor I really don't like reno, as the very card makes people not be adventures or experimental at all with their decks. When facing a priest, for example, I'd at least like to think that there's no 99% chance that I'm about to face reno, there should at least be a 50% reason to think that I'd face a different deck, AT LEAST
it's funy becaue when i see a Priest i assume Dragons and not Reno.
Sorry, Reno Jackson is history. News flash, Reno 'control' players aren't actually real control players. Hopefully the meta will shift away from hyper aggro and gimmick decks once this mistake of a card hits the rubbish heap of Wild.

The Reno rotation can't happen soon enough. Look at this meta. It's insufferable. Good riddance. Reno deserves to be in wild given how cancerous it's become.
PS - The OP can go straight to h*ll. Such a original thought, keep Reno around. You make me sick. Anyone who defends Reno now is mentally unstable. Midrange decks are dead and it's all Reno or all aggro. Believe it or not, midrange usually outclasses aggro and aggro wouldn't be a problem except that Reno combined with Kazakus is OP as fook.
Dude you sound mentally unstable take a chill pill
I was expecting a little bit more from the OP given such an impassioned title, not that it matters anyway since this is long-settled. Farewell Reno, you won't be missed.

Renolock isn't really much different than Handlock, which I imagine is what you'd consider Control. Reno Mage is pretty much just a rehash of the old Grinder Mage, which is what I'd certainly consider Control. Reno Priest is the only list I can really concede is different than its normal Control list... and even then it's still pretty dependent on the list itself.
As someone who's played virtually every Control option (short of Mill Druid, because it never really appealed to me), the current Reno lists fit the bill just fine. Some Control is more proactive than others.

Articles I suggest every player reads to improve at the game;
Currently really dislike the polarization between aggro and reno decks, so no, not sad to see him go. I want more regular reliable healing, better taunts/answers and less aggression on turn one and two.
If we're just left with jade shaman and jade druid though...well, yeah that would suck.

Jade Druid legitimately doesn't ever worry me, Zoo is still a thing post-rotation and I think that's enough to keep it in check. Jade Shaman I'm a bit concerned about, since it seems a lot more versatile... though without Brann and the early game stuff (namely Trogg and Totem Golem) maybe it's just another Control list with solid inevitability.

Reno is so strong because aggro is so strong.
You guys should be more afraid of an aggro meta with no answer than the prevalence of a strong answer.
