I always accept and I've never been flamed but then I'm not an asshole and I don't play asshole decks.

I send requests after interesting or super fun  matches, whether I win or lose. About half accept. When people pick me for their friend quest, I try to pick them at the next opportunity.

I have a weasel tunneler priest that is hilarious. The trick is to create and resurrect as many as possible so that your opponent's deck is flooded with them. You can even run the quest! Games tend to take a long time, but it's kinda ladder viable depending on your luck.

I had no idea--never even occurred to me you could do such a thing!

If you want to have good laugh then try echo spirit shaman with elise, jades, stonehill defenders and white eyes.

Ooo, don't have White Eyes yet either but that's on the short list. Love stonehill defender and Elise--I play them in just about every deck! Thanks!

Dragon lyra is quite fun to play expecially when you manage to get 4/5 Elise pack by shadow vision made by Lyra

THE ONLY thing keeping me from crafting Lyra right now is I'm about 20 packs overdue for an un'Goro legendary, and that's the one I want. I got Lyra from Elise, from Yogg a couple of days ago and it was spectacular!

Thanks! I don't have N'zoth but I do have about 5k dust saved up so I could get pretty close to this. Was just looking st sky golem yesterday (don't have it either, but see the potential there).  Will work my way up!

WhatAChamp, you'd have LOVED playing Magic : The Gathering during the early/mid 90's. This was before the popular adoption of the internet and, specifically, before the netdeck.

Two things: you would have loved playing D&D on pencil and paper in the fifth grade (circa 1980). All you needed was an excuse to skip whatever fun thing everyone else was doing and hide under the bleachers for some half-elf illusionist fun with 18 charisma because hey, if everybody in your fantasy world finds you amazing, it won't even matter that you're playing alone.
    That was the first thing.
The second thing is I didn't realize I've been a hipster all my life. I thought they just wore funny clothes and underachieved on principle.
    Thanks for that.
PS I do exactly the same thing in HS. Goofy anti-cancer decks. I truly fear that murlocs are going to dominate the meta soon because I love them but if they are popular I'll have to abandon them. Because playing something popular would destroy my sense of self-worth.

Troll. There's no way to use any "deck listed" after playing for 2 weeks without spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars, in which case you would not be playing pirate warrior because"it's the only thing I can afford right now."

posted a message on Forever stuck at rank 15....
This is really interesting. Because I'm at rank 14 right now and up till these last two weeks, I had been stuck around 20 since February and I was convinced I pretty much sucked. This current rank isn't the result of a crazy streak, I win about 1/2-2/3 of my games now, both in casual and ranked, and I build my own decks. Aaaaand I have no idea what's in any of the top tier decks except from the experience of playing  against them.
Ive got to echo what others say--it's not all quest rogues and pirate warriors down here at rank 15ish. I see an interesting variety of decks, way more combo/control than aggro at the moment. If ranks 10-5 are a grind, I think I'd rather be here.
    Quote from AMJii >>

Instead of worrying about escaping Rank 15, ask yourself if it's really worth it. Rank 10 reward is barely any better than R15, if you intend to get past Ranks 15-11 territory you're setting the bar at 5.

Last month I had peaked out at Rank 13 and according to HS I made it to "top 20%" (see here)... and for the record, I reached that rank just by doing dailies. I've come to the conclusion Rank is a poor way when it comes to gauging "skill" in HS.

posted a message on I'd be surprised to not see Murloc Paladins swarm the meta next month.

Murloc Shaman is also a very strong deck. I've climbed six ranks with it. Though the inclusion of Stonehill and Tarim in Paladin are killer, the flametongue totem and flood of murlocs available with the murloc quest are very competitive. I kind of don't like that I'm seeing so many mirror murloc matches, but at least they are fair.

I didn't vote for this because I don't know if you've got the cards for it or would want to commit the dust, but the Shaman quest is fantastic and underplayed. If you have a lot of murlocs, especially the newest ones and the one that lets you adapt your whole team--THAT is a strong deck. I've climbed 6 ranks with it so far. But I will always enjoy playing murlocs. You may not feel like 1600 is a good deal for a murloc Shaman quest.

i votes for Tarim and Elise because Tarim is an insanely useful card for a Paladin andElise is useful just about everywhere.

posted a message on Looking for Hearthstone friends? Post your BattleTag Here 2.0

    Battletag: unsalted#11359

    Region: US

    Usual Play Times: varies

Level of Experience: Sort of beginner but I'm just beginning to get the hang of it. Played since February and just hit rank 14 for the first time. I have six hundred wins or so, but only seven in arena. I'm terrible at arena. I don't netdeck, though I do gather strategy ideas from the forums and lists. I also categorically do not watch streamers or vloggers.

Preferred Heroes: Any except warlock. I've had the most success with Shaman and Paladin because murlocs. I do really welll with murlocs. I'd like to do as well with more complicated synergies.

I’m Looking For: I like to play high-RNG comedy/gimmick decks but I don't need a lot of instruction with those, just willing participants. However, if you're great and would like to share your knowledge, I take instruction very well. I love games that are fun for both participants. I tend not to play deck types that are built to anger or frustrate the opponent. I like interactivity and "wow" factor.

Tell us something about you: I only play standard except for murlocs. I have every murloc ever printed. I never concede unless I have to leave the game for some external reason. I really enjoy a game that goes to its natural end, whether I win it or not. I'm not much of a chatter. I can't do two things at once very well and I don't have this game on PC. My whole collection is listed here.

I'm probably older than you. :)

I always concede instantly vs quest rogue because I know I have a 100% loss rate against it.

I feel you on this. Had to roll a murloc paladin just to consistently beat this deck.
I play a murloc Paladin as well, and I am surprised people are bitching about the ladder being full of aggro paladins after months and months of bitching about paladins being unusable. But yeah, it's because murloc paladins (and shamans) crush quest rogues and quest mages pretty consistently.  And honestly, murlocs were pretty reliable in the last meta too, they just weren't hot for some reason.
