Could spell success or doom. So much future potential for this card. A FUN card. Thoughts?
Check the first page of the submissions thread, I did basically the same card.
I didn't intend to copy your card when I made it. But your submission implies cards from your hand as well plus a healing bonus so I believe mine is still different.
I updated my card into a minion, and changed it's text (before it basically just Taunt). Does the Deathrattle make it equal enough? Otherwise I'd argue it's rather close to the Valentines theme.
What about this? Actually kind of bad for Murloc decks, since the buffs could transfer, but the downside can be avoided. Kind of like Eerie Golem/Statue. Can't remember which one. Also I weird state if both players get one, from the random summons. I've had opponents concede, if I got a Murloc Knight, but I've also had some Concede if they get a 2/1 Murloc, so I don't know how bad the downside is
This seems a little too powerful, and doesn't match any of the contest criteria. Also, it would be hysterical to see your opponent pop your Stoneclaw Totem and get two of these monsters.
Here are some ideas I had. Love may be in the air, but flowers and chocolates may not be the only thing you get from that special someone:
First of all, is the Mage Secret legal under the rules? It says you have to be productive or synergistic, but not negative, if you name an existing card. The secret definitely produces Hungry Crabs, but does this count as negative? I took negative to mean, say, destroying the named card.
Does the minion, or just card that it summon have to be beneficial for the opponent? I think it said that, for the 1st theme
This card is based on "That special someone." that names a specific existing card.
Pardon the pun, but so far my card is "sinking". Do I need to adjust any stats/naming/wording?
It basically summons 9/7 worth of stats (11/9 with captain buff), deals 6 random damage and if you have a weapon equipped, has 6 damage worth of charge minions. The 10 mana cost was chosen because although the overall stats are weak the 12 burst damage in one card and pirate synergy cant be ignored.

I would say this is way too powerful. The overall stats actually aren't that weak, if you take into account the captain buff. With 11/9 is only about 1 mana off what you'd expect for a class card. The 6 random damage and the potential charge are worth more than that, though. I would take out one of the Deckhands. Then it is 8/7 stats buffed, plus 4 random damage and one minion with Charge. I would say that's worth 9 mana.
SO bad. 4 mana and a card to get one minion and give your opponent two minions? U cant rely on u getting Malganis every time and your opponent Blood Imps. Most scenarios r pretty much game over for u, after u play this card. U might give him just one minion, but its still something i wouldnt gamble with if the card existed and i had an option to use it.
Okay, Asylum said that this card is legal (and also, it will look awesome in 3d!):

Is this balanced? If it only transformed one minion, it would be worse than Vaporize. Would transforming 2 minions be balanced? And what about my random 1-3 minions? I admit that it is a little shaman-y. Also, I think I should probably change the trigger to be after the attack.

Let me give you the reasoning behind the choice of mana and effect to see if this persuades you any more (nonetheless I appreciate your input):
1. you get to choose the best of the 3 minions. If you can choose malgannis, dead infernal, fearsome doomguard, jaraxxus, doomguard (can trade well because its battelcry wont work), Illidan (summons its effect), and your opponent doesnt get any good cards, then it can almost be gg. it will also help bring old demons sometimes into play such as felguard and Succubus.
2. It could possibly be a replacement for implosion for standard format. I do agree it can be problematic if your opponent gets one of those as well, and it will likely be hard for you to recover.
3. It will encourage the use of sacrifical pact which might bring more decks with dreadsteed
Do you think 3 mana might be better? One of the problems I see with reducing the mana cost is that something like malgannis could get out of hand. Another idea would be to increase the mana to something like 5 mana and discover twice: the first to summon an demon for your side and the second for your opponent.
On another note, do you like the name? Or do you have a better idea for the name of it.

Well my only thought on this is there are already cards like Grommash Hellscream which is a conditional 4/9 (10/8) with charge for 8 mana.

I get your reasoning, but in average scenario, u WILL get worse end of the deal and u dont put in your deck a card, that can screw u like that.
Lowering the mana cost is not the way to go, exactly cause u can get T2(coin)/T3 Malganis or something. Double discover is kinda wierd but mby more balanced, even tho there can be real situations, where u get huge minion for 4 mana and u give your opponent crap 1-cost minion etc. thats also not so ok.
About the name, again i get the pun, but dont rly like it and since i dont rly like the idea of the card and dont know where u might want to take it, i dont have much of a suggestion for the name either, sorry. I know im kinda stomping all over your card, but thats just how i feel about it ;-)

Wouldn't this be really OP? It's like a randomized Polymorph, but there could be 3 of them! The minions are technically better, but still... it's 1 to 3 polymorphs! If you do still think this isn't too bad, then make it 2 minions, without the less, or more. As you said, it's more of a shaman thing
Well, it's worse than a Polymorph, because Hungry Crab has better stats than Sheep (slightly, but you can't ping it, which is significant) and it's random. How much would "Transform a random minion into a 1/2 Hungry Crab be worth"? Less than 4 mana, for sure. I would say probably 2.5 mana (compare Deadly Shot to Assassinate). Also, Vaporize is Assassinate in secret form, so you get a significant mana discount for being a secret. That being said, 2 transformations here does seem to maybe be the right amount. Is that what you were saying? Turning 2 minions into Hungry Crabs seems balanced?
You're card seems really powerful if you put it out on an empty board. Eerie Statue is balanced because it can't attack unless your opponent has no minions either, which makes it easy to counter. It's really easy to put out one of these murlocs on turn 4 and never have to worry about it's downside.

Grom is a legendary, though, for one thing. And you need to play another card to activate his Enrage. Even without the charge, your card is too powerful right now with just the stats and the random damage.
What if it was the effect was made into the battlecry of a minion? What do you think would be a balanced stat line for a minion? I was thinking a 4 mana 2/3 demon might be reasonable.

3.01 Finalist| 3.04 Finalist|3.05 Finalist
dont know but i feel this is a little bit op, was thinking 9 mana 5/6
what do you think?

Working on balancing the effect on this, tips? I don't know if its too cheap or too much. (The idea is that it's essentially a mini Tree of Life)

This summons a Ship's Cannon, a Southsea Captain, and two Southsea Deckhands. The three pirates all trigger the Ship's Cannon's effect. It is a Pirate Warrior finisher similar to Murloc Paladin's Anyfin Can Happen.
