I'm confused as to how this counters Ice Block. Ice Block says take damage, but doesn't specify the means by which the damage has been taken, so how does this go around that secret?
If you play a Secret, it won't trigger on your turn (except for Competitive Spirit). Because of this, the Mage player can't do nothing to stop dying if he has 2 health or less at the start of his turn when cursed, even if he has Ice Block.
If they ignore the curse, turn 3 Demonwrath, or Coin Hellfire. Board cleared forcing them to rebuild or deal with the curse. That damage will be substantial quickly.
If they deal with the curse, you've stalled them an entire turn and have a better chance of using your higher mana solutions.... potentially ones with healing to stabilize.
I know it's not that clear cut, but there is potential here.
Would be worth it if it did 2, then 3, then 4 damage and so on. I would pretty much ignore this if it was cast on me because the 2 damage is pretty negligible if i am ahead.. If hes played this on me early enough, then hes behind. /yawn.
Guys! I've heard there is going to be a card called Kezan Mystic in the next GvG expansion. We no longer need this card to counter Ice Block! The Hype is real!
This one with loatheb is sure a very leathal combo, u wanna spend 7 mana to get rid of that card? then be my guest. i know for sire that i will play this card.
Or face the mighty consequence of 2 DAMAGE! THE HORROR.
Turn 2 Curse of Rafaam.

One of my favorites of this set. I think I will use this x2 instead of Knife Juggler in my Dreadsteed deck.
Another sad case of a card that is cool, but not good. Don't worry Curse of Rafaam, I'll find a place for you in my Dreadsteed deck.
so you drop Lorewalker Cho before you remove your curse =) mwuuahahahaaa

You pay 2 mana. Opponent pays 2 mana. You did not gain any tempo, but lost a card. gg

make the card cost 2 to throw out, then let the cursed card cost 4. :)
Playing HS for the fun :) wanna improve my skills :)
I could see this being used with a trogg.
This challenges Eye for an Eye as the worst card in the game
Its fangs are in your flesh before its hiss leaves your ears.
Golden Heroes: Druid -> Rogue -> Shaman -> Hunter -> Warlock
Sometimes, a card is not a sleeper or anything. Sometimes a bad card is just a bad card.
Good for gaining tempo?
Played on curve, your opponent has a choice: waste their turn 3, or play a minion and take 4 damage.
I put this in a quick zoo deck with all the troggs and loatheb. Some success so far! Anyone else try it?
