TLDR: Send me a message and I'll send you a Steam key for my new single player card game, Tales of the Deck.
The land is in danger, and retro RPG card strategy is its only hope! Gather a party of three brave pixel heroes, each with unique spell cards. As a single player, adventure through a series of monsters and tactical challenges. Fall in battle, and your story is cut short. Should you defeat the evil bosses, your story will be forever told in the Tales of the Deck.
...we want you! Yes, YOU! We'll be entering Steam early access on February 6th. We have a set of core rules, but would like to grow the game over time with the help of our players. That's where you come in. You got ideas? We want them. Is something OP? Let us know. Found a bug? Well, you get the idea.
Do you have what it takes? Then send me a message, and I'll send you a Steam product key for alpha testing.
We'll take feedback through any medium we can get it, but we try to keep in-depth discussions to our discord (https://discord.gg/S9zDcpQ). That way we can get the community in on the conversation. Stop on by, and join the fun.
With this being for hunters, I wanted to evoke the idea that there is a bounty from a hunt. In this case, dragonscale. This is a hunter that works the hides of his fallen dragons to strengthen himself.
Thematically speaking, I'm really disappointed. This is supposed to be the big boss of a gang, and yet it has an ability that aids one of his lackeys. That just doesn't sit right with me. I picture the big boss being somewhat stingy, and greedy. The idea that he buffs the lackeys just seems contrary to the character I imagine.
I think this card would have been better suited to be a strong recipient of the buffs like the Dispatch Kodo or the Rat Pack. That would have been more fitting in my opinion.
In terms of play, and how it fits with the play style of the other goons, I like it well enough.
I can only speak from my experience. I've put a fait bit of money into the game, and have never regretted it. I enjoy having access to most every card, but also don't have the time to commit to earning those strictly through F2P. Pay to play is perfect for my lifestyle.
If you have the ability to do so, and enjoy the game, I highly recommend it.
Right now it's not all that different from standard. It only has 1 additional expansion and adventure. When standard was introduced it became the new refreshing thing making wild seem a bit dull by comparison.
Give it a couple years though and wild will be a supremely entertaining mode for many players. It just needs more expansions to differentiate itself from standard.
I understand why this is being compared to Faceless Manipulator, but I think the word "Taunt" is being overlooked. Sure, a Manipulator is more useful in a general sense, but that doesn't mean that the Faceless Shambler is bad by default. The best taunt in the game is about to cycle out of standard mode, so new taunts are very welcome in my opinion.
This is the sort of card that doesn't play well on curve, but does great in combination with another card late in the game. If you play this on turn 10 with just about any other 6 drop in the game you'll get a really nice taunt to protect that 6 drop. That's not a bad deal.
Is it great? I don't think so. But there is potential here that it is getting overlooked.
This could be a great combo with C'Thun. Play this on turn 10 to clear the board, and hopefully draw your old god. The next turn you drop C'Thun that will either hit the face hard or potentially clear the board that your opponent just re-established.
I'm sure there are some other really good follow up plays like that, but C'Thun stands out to me.
are you stupid or new to hearthstone i am hoping the 2nd one you just named it it is worse then every single mage spell why did everybody hate in flame lance? it did more damage but it could not hit face? this card is a joke i'm not laughing blizzard flame lance didn't see play this will never see play flame lance still has a chance this doesn't end of story
Calling me stupid? Wow. I was just trying to have a discussion, and happen to have a different opinion than you. Stay classy.
Am I full of bullshit or I'm missing something, please tell me
While it is worse than all of those cards, it IS all of those cards. That's the value. The value of the card isn't that it gets good damage per mana, it's that you can choose how much damage and mana you spend on it.
I understand why other Priest players will miss it, but I personally won't. I had a hard time finding the right opportunity to use it. It always felt like I was doing more damage to my minions than the other players. It just didn't fit with my play style.

This card could be a neat lead in to the new priest hero. Easy way to mitigate the downside with a play you'd probably make anyway.

It is completely safe, and doesn't violate the terms of use. Go for it!

Wow. That's a game changer. Doubly so in Wild mode. Fun thematic synergy with his tentacles too.

There are some really cool opportunities for this card with Inspire and Deathrattle minions. I'm excited to give it a go.
