This card would go very well withJeeves. Need I say more? Play Jeeves. Play this card. BOOM. Card gets buffed. You get three cards.
OK. Now you are a genius, my friend. Absolutely RIGHT on point with that one. Damn.
That's why it's really impossible to know the meta till the game launches. This kind of card combo could really revolutionize what cards face hunter includes. I've yet to see a Jeeves run in face hunter.
People are massively overrating how good this will be in Face Hunter. It's an awful card, it's going to see play in absolutely nothing (maybe Arena) and I'm not sure what Blizz think it's going to achieve.
For constructed it's trash, i don't see it in any deck now and in future, there are better midrange cards for Hunter, and it doesn't work in Face at all. Actually it's the worst class card revealed so far.
In arena it's ok i guess, worst Hunter rare isonly Metaltooth Leaper without mechs i guess (even Misdirection is little mind game for enemy) but we have many trash neutral rares.
In order to this card to be good you need to dump your hand and go on to a topdeck mode. Not a fan, as you still need for example your owls for belchers. You do not want to drop these "utility cards" just because you want to dump your hand. So I would say no constructed applications, for now atleast.
I think I'd need to see this card in play to truly evaluate it.
I don't think it's quite so bad at T4 as some people think (if your opponent can counter it with a single card, it means they're probably ignoring the rest of your board - if they can't you've just got a Fel Reaver that doesn't ruin your own deck).
That said, I expect that T4 will probably be bad timing for this card. I suspect it's meant as a later game option (~T7 or T8) when it can be played along with card draw and/or serve to "contest" Boom.
This card isn't playable in Face Hunter at all, I can only assume the people who keep suggesting that have never actually played Facehunter or have am irrational hatred for the archetype. Too many people are looking at this card thru' the constructed lense, when this card was obviously made for Arena where having a 4 mana 4/4 beast on curve isn't really that bad and having a top decked 4 mana 7/7 beast is really that good. But even in constructed, I think people are under estimating that having another, decent 4 mana beast for Webspinner helps smoothe the curve further towards mid-range. So the card has a legitimate affect on constructed without ever being included in constructed decks, and I think a lot of beasts have to be viewed strictly from that angle.
So it's 1 of 2 cards that's good for Arena and will have an indirect impact on constructed, let's just hope we get a new, playable Trap as the 2nd card and the set will be a decent boon to the class overall compared to the other class cards that have been revealed, which are either completely marginal or just totally suck ass so far.
Omg so op plz nerf blizz... and now seriously: this card will be a 4/4 for 4 most of the time... and be plain and simply bgh fodder once you depleted your hand... additionally this won't happen before turn five or six, making it not being that much over the curve...
Ergo, I don't think it is a good gard: in Face the card is too slow and in Midrange there is better 4 drops - Shredder and even Houndmaster (which is only a 1 of to begin with)
Omg so op plz nerf blizz... and now seriously: this card will be a 3/3 for 4 most of the time... and be plain and simply bgh fodder once you depleted your hand... additionally this won't happen before turn five or six, making it not being that much over the curve...
Rather a 4/4 for 4, which makes it a not-terrible drop even with cards in hand. But I don´t think it will see too much play in constructed either. Pity, I like the art.

You're right, fixed it... my argument still holds though, don't think it will be good!
This is a stellar curve topper for face hunter. a 4 mana 4/4 is decent enough to be playable when you just need to fit the curve and happen to have cards in your hand but at the upside is massive. It's a beast so it helps make Kill Command live for full damage value, something Face Hunter can't always do reliably, and unlike a decent amount of the other minions in the deck this one is a really good topdeck as it has potential to be a 4 mana 7/7. This card is not viable in midrange hunter as it will basically always be a 4/4 but in a more aggressive deck list where you can curve out your early game more consistently this guy is going to be an absolute bomb threat in the midgame when your opponent is already struggling spending all of their resources desperately to deal with the large board presence you're putting forth turn after turn. The fact that this guy is a 4 drop that can potentially rip through Sen'Jin Shieldmasta and Sludge Belcher in a single hit is as That's Admirable would say "HUUUUGE!".
All in all I'd say this is an exceptionally well designed and balanced card that has the potential to see some serious constructed applications. Well done blizzard! :D
If this is the kind of game they are after, then I don't really know how to describe it. Providing such a card that tolerates a concept they've been condemning for ages, so when things go south, they make an excuse to nerf another heavily playable card instead (or along with). Something doesn't feel right here and completely doesn't make sense.
I guess we shouldn't blame the players anymore if the developers already know what's up and yet still make what we are beholding right now.
Even though the card doesn't seem promising to me presently -in any archetype- as I see it, the idea of thinking about it and actually turning it into reality tells a lot.
If they really think that it's okay to have strong aggro/face hand-dumping decks and archetypes wandering around, then they shouldn't really play the role of defenders of the light who shall befall retribution upon those who cause games to be less fun to play.
Same thing i thought. I can already see this card being good in aggro hunter decks and considering they are going to make may more expansions this card will put huge restrictions on what cards they can make. A couple more synergy cards a long with this can completely destroy the game in the same way dr boom, undertaker and unleash for 2 mana did. I dont hate hunter as much as a lot of people do but i would never ever want the meta to be 70% hunter like it has been in the past. Hunter has already proven extremely hard for blizzard to balance so why make even more cards that can be game breaking.
I feel like what they were trying to do with BRM is make deck building and decks in general harder to play but this card seems different then the other ones, it just seems like if this card works well in a aggro deck it would be very hard to counter even with bgh. Imagine playing a ton of bgh targets from 4-6 mana with a ton of small minions forcing your opponent to have two bghs and board aoi in the first 8 turns. This is not currently possible but with a few more similar cards it will for sure be.
The card is not too powerful, true, but it is not as bad as many people think.
There are so far only 2! beasts in the 4 Mana cost area. The Core Rager fits very good in there.
It is in the worst case a 4/4 for 4 mana. That is not bad, it is good, it passes the Vanilla Test. Chillwind Yeti is considered excellent because he surpasses the Vanilla Test by +1 health. Think before you complain too much. By adding his ability which can of course be build around in the deck or "forced" to be activitated with playing out your whole hand. Still i see it more as a bonus to a pretty solid body.
I expect him to be seen more often than people think, be it in arena or in constructed, and not in Face Hunter decks. Especially in Face Hunter he does not fit very well. The face Hunter usually plays nothing which "sits" only there and is a massive threat. Then he would run Savanna Highmanes, he does not. He plays offensive cards which deal the moment them are played.
I conclude:
Good stats for the mana cost with a nice ability which can help out at times when you fall behind.
Especially great for other Hunter types than Face Hunter.

Supporting face again... oh well...
Should be a 4/3 that way you are punished for not having it activated.
Really love the card design though. Since, believe it or not Hunter is designed to be aggressive. o.O
But how often do you end up with 0 cards in your hand turn 4 or even 6 ? I would say around 1 out of 420

I'll reserve my judgement on this until we see the rest of the cards. Who knows what crazy stuff Blizzard still has in store?

Top 5 Legend every season. Twitch.tv/vbsof
Fuck this card. In all holes. Terrible terrible terrible design for a terribad player base who get legend when they belong in the rank 15 bracket.
Fuck this card.
