Good question, I don't have an answer but in your case I'd simply try and see. You can do it after you reach a new ranked floor if you are scared of losing.
It works, I just tested with Soul Mirror my opponent had played Rustwix and the 6/6 Cthun taunt. After I played mirror, interestingly, Headmaster resummoned both copies of each which resulted in 9 primes being shuffled into my deck
headmaster works like this: 1) you play headmaster, his keyword is active and waiting; 2) the next spell you play will procc his spellburst; 3) upon finishing the spell’s play the game checks to see if ANY minion dies (yours or opponents), those minions are resummoned for you
Like hysteria and such? Always been too scared to try, not to waste his spellburst.

My guess about Hysteria would be that his effect wouldn't trigger, since the spell isn't killing minions, but rather, the targeted minion is.
If the card survives it works

I tested it out and any minion that dies as a result of Hysteria is resummoned on your side.
tbh this is kind of a game changer for me, i'm happy to know this!
I think the check is simple so don't overthink it:
-check state of board before spell
-check state of board after spell
-summon missing minions
Wow, cool to know. I really wasn't expecting it to work like this.
I really like Headmaster, so it's fun to see more applications for him.
