One of the best cards yet..if not the best. I realize priest is losing a lot, but they’ve gotten some great cards compared to weaker classes. Especially Warrior. Didn’t expect priest to get amazing legendaries like they have. Warlock either.
nope. this is amazing to hold on the entire game. Plus in mirror matches might work wonders as u need a certain card that you opponent might have and same applies to other classes. imagine you are facing a Warlock with board removal in hand you use it to remove the DK ressurect board etc
The title said mage minion at first. I thought wtf is this. Then it changed to priest. But I think this card is at best a tech card. It’s too unreliable. If you draw him in start hand, cool. If not then meh.
In my personal opinion, everyone who rated this as "playable" understands that it has the ability to copy a bomb card from your opponent's hand, and that's about it...
The people who rated this card "very good" understand that this is crazy because it is not limited to just copying a creature, but copying a spell as well, which adds insane value. Also, that whatever card it is currently showing is in your opponents hand.
The enlightened individuals who selected "meta-defining" understand that this card has infinite value just by sitting in your hand. Every turn you can learn additional information about your opponents hand, and this card can have even more value in hand than being played as a bomb. Not only do you know at least one card they have in hand but you know if it is feeding synergies, and you know if they haven't played the card that you have already previously seen, it is still in hand, allowing you to effectively keep track of what your opponent has in hand.
This card is absolutely absurd... anyone listing it below "Playable" is trolling.
This is a bad card. One revealed card per turn just isn't enough information to take up a valuable hand and deck slot. A large majority of the time the information will be useless - the times when it shows you a Duskbreaker indicating you should avoid playing into AoE will be few and far between. Also, it's a random card, so with bad RNG it can be the same card in your opponent's hand 3 turns in a row.
Furthermore, early scouting is the only thing that makes any kind of sense, so this card is an auto-keep off the mulligan against any class where you're unsure what type of deck is being run, which means you're taking up either 25% of your Turn 1 hand-size with this card going first, or 20% going second. That's just too expensive for the effect.
In most cases, once your opponent plays a card, or two at most, you already know 90% of what's in his deck without this card. So what you're getting in information is what he's *drawn* already, a whopping one card per turn, at the expense of 20 or 25% of your initial hand count and 3% of your deck count. No thanks. I'm not putting this bad value card in my deck.
this card is broken not cause of intel or the the skill testing the pro do. it simply get The Coin on turn one , free quests , free weapons even free dk 's dont forget packs ; it's thief priest with out even playing a card FeelsGoodMan
If you run out of cards with priest you're doing it wrong.
But imagine playing vs an agressive deck, searching for a winning boardclear and draw this, you have cards in hand but your opponent don't, making this card an useless 1/1.
This card would never take the place of a board clear in your deck, so if you were searching for a board clear and got this instead it's likely not worse than drawing whatever card would have been in it's place.

Totally agree with you. This is an insane card. Imagine getting that card in your opening hand and you will learn about your opponent's hand for turns and turns. This is pretty absurd.
Will go in literally every priest deck besides even decks information without a downside. Can copy opponents death knights or other high value card in the late game. Can copy aggro cards to contest early game.
Information is so strong you might even hold it instead of playing their card for tempo
Great thought. It'd be funny if it just copied the base card. But that's a question that will definitely need answered.
*I messed this up as a reply to someone and can't find their original comment to quote. Essentially the question is - What happens when two priests both have this in hand. Do they/can they copy each other, and do they copy the base form or do they copy the copy which would in turn represent a duplicate of a card you have in hand.
I voted very good as opposed to playable just for the ability to copy Death Knights. Also you could go full troll and copy quests or legendary weapons.
On a side note, this is yet another beast for priest. I am fully expecting a neutral minion that gives synergy for having multiple tribes in a deck. Hopefully it is one of the legendaries and a has a cool victory condition effect not just a stat boost. One class also could get a legendary quest for playing multiple tribes as well.
I quite like low average power level, high potential cards that screw with your opponent...gnomerferatu, dirty rat...seems like fun and will see competitive play for sure.
not a good card as its pure RNG it copies i.e 1 out of 8 cards from opponent hand, its mostly a tech card and i stay away from tech cards,it changes every turn till played so i dont think you wanna wait this to turn in 8 mana removal from the warlock hand, which may not even happen i say bad,its either dead card or you may play whatever it copies just for tempo

The only thing that would make this card better than it already is. Is if it was part of the Dragon tribe.
I'm crafting this day1 (if I don't get it from my packs of course).

This will absolutely be a top tier mulligan in Hearthstone tournaments. This will ratchet up the strategy and gamesmanship for sure.
This card is toxic. This will trigger many people. I already see myself losing to this and rage quitting.
Also, Kripp will be happy to have this in his all legendary deck.

This card is pretty nuts! Holy shit. I'm gonna need a little bit of time to process how strong this is...
