As most players already know, Corridor Creeper is getting a serious nerf to the point where most people think it will be unplayable outside of a few specialized decks. Which is fair, Blizzard's decision to nerf the card was well warranted but they've made it so that it will have little to no use when summoned and they seemed to be a little too harsh when there is a better way to do this.
Now you could just easily change the cards text to "Cost 1 less when an enemy minion dies while this is in your hand" or "Cost 1 less when a friendly minion dies while this is in your hand" which would reward control play and punish low stated aggro minions but why not take a different, more interesting route? Let's make Corridor Creeper a giant.
So it's stated and cost like a giant, there's no more beast synergy, and the effect is the same but you need to have this in your hand to play it whereas before you only needed to preform the action to activate the giant's effect. This will slow down the card a bit because people will want to play it for the lowest cost but it will take longer to get there and you're holding a big card in your hand which limits your options during your turn.
I'd like to hear your thoughts on this since I think this might actually be a viable idea.
The new corridor creeper is fine. The point was to make it something that doesn't go into decks from every single class as a "I hope I don't get boardcleared" tech.
As it is now, there's room for a beast synergy setup that'll make creeper effective in the right decks in the future. Making it a giant that gets cheaper simply by having the game happen just opens up more opportunity for outrageous swing turns. We really do not need stickier minions. The ability to summon 2 8/8's for 0 mana after a flamestrike will not make the game better or more interesting.

Look at this thing and let me know what you think!
Why do you want the card to still be good? I think changing it to a niche card is fine. The less universally good cards are the better IMO it leads to a lot more deck variety instead of the "neutral package" we see in almost every deck right now.

How about something that gives the same feel as corridor creeper, but requires much more advanced setup?
There's absolutely decks that could cheat this out, but it's not a freebie that you get just because your stuff died.
Sorry for the janky font, I can't use hearthcards at work.
