I remember that one when i started playing ESL, a cheap aggro card that's really good. This one will be in every aggro deck. If you ping it, you lose tempo, if you don't, it hits face for 3.
It basically counts as 1 mana 3/1 minion. That would be really great in vanilla HS. But now aggro decks rely more on some synergy, like buffing for druid or pirate synergy for warrior, simple charge-face-smorc like old good facehunter doesn't work unfortunately. Anyway I voted playable, just because its nice card by its design :)
Just thought that this card could very annoying when played on turn 1 by the first player if the second player was about to play his quest, especially against mages, because you don't want to coin+ping it before you play your quest.
It will deal the two damage to face for sure, but it is still just a 1/1. If your opponent drops an Enchanted Raven on turn one after you drop this, you are going to wish you had just dropped even a blank text 2/1 over this card. In the right deck though, you are probably right it will make no difference.

Steward of Darkshire says hi.
It isn't worse than Leper Gnome guys, for fucks sake!
Nobody gives a shit about Gnome, cause his DR will trigger just once so you don't need to lose tempo bothering to remove it with HP for example.
Fine addition to many cancer decks, I'm pretty sure.
fine with buffs in token druid.
Check out my entry for this week's Card Design Competition. Vote for it if you like it.

This card is worse than a 1 mana 3/1 because minions can trade into it
