Pretty decent in my opinion, its not a fit in shaman obviously. But i can see this in druid for example were youre just happpy, with having 1 minion on board for control.
Also this is a pretty good inervate turn 2.
Also 5/6 statline is verry good since most removals deal only 5.
not turning the game upside down but this is way better than people give it credit for.
Yeah I'm betting there will be similar to leper gnome effects that hurt your opponent on deathrattle. It's certainly bad as it stands now, but we havent seen any of the theme cards yet.
Even Silence Priest doesn't really want this when Humongous Razorleaf is already so much better (having more health and thus having a better synergy with Inner Fire and no crippling side-effect) and for cheaper.
Not sure that I agree with that, with another cheaper silence card you could put more silence synergy in and have a better curve, plus this card is slightly more proactive than razorleaf, it might even make a silence deck that takes out the divine inner fire gimick in favor of more board presence... turn 2 4/5 into 4/8 into 5/6 into 8/8? That curve is ridiculous. I realize I'm exaggerating a bit as that curve requires drawing both 0 cost silences, but you get the picture, it adds more beef and consistency into silence priest. it could become less of a gimmick and more of a board control deck.
Have to disagree. Two card 4 mana 5/6 just isn't good. Additionally if you can't slience it the turn it comes out then you are at risk of losing what board you may have built up to so far. Basically you HAVE to have Silence in hand and ready to go on four with this guy or no board at all to play him safely. Additionally it's going to be VERY difficult to play for board control with priest when so many of your minions require two cards to work. Your curve is pointless if you are playing minions who can't do anything. The only reason why silence priest works at all is divine spirit/innerfire. Because if I play a 4/8 that can't attack the opponent still NEEDS to deal with or they could just out right lose. If I am plopping down 4/5 and 4/8s on curve, I am not silencing anything and now that inner fire combo is not in my deck my opponent can just straight up ignore my board.
i think it's playable, but not amazing. it probably manages to slip into wild reno mage and warlock (obviously without n'zoth) and maybe standard control priest or warrior. it's a shame that it's a deathrattle effect and not a battlecry so it has such negative synergy with n'zoth now that most control classes play the immensely powerful old god.

Hungry Dragon didn't even see play in most Dragon decks, and you think this is playable with a larger drawback? Any tempo that is gained on Turn 4 is taken away because you can't play a 5 drop. It's one of the worst cards in the game tbh, probably the bottom 20.
The whole point of Token Druid is to have tokens....You're going to sack all your tokens/buffing ability so you can roll a +1/+1 yeti in your deck? Far from perfect...It actually makes zero sense...It's unplayable.

Hungry dragons drawback is way worse than this one, since oponent gets initiative with the onedrop.
Also that 5 turn argument is pretty weak since that means enemy didnt clear a 5/6 thus i still have tempo even if i dont play a 5 drop since my enemy didnt play a 4 drop into this in your example.
I would like that effect on a heavily aggresive-stated minion. Like 4 mana 8-4 with that effect, so that it demands immediate response. The most likely scenario for this is that the opponent plays a million shit minions into this and you can't keep deploying your board.
Fairly certain my head is gonna look like this card's guts if I wake up again to no more new cards. Blizzard, streamers, LITERALLY ANYONE, SAY SOMETHING!

hungry dragon always summons a 1-cost minion for your opponent. ticking abomination doesn't always damage your minions because you don't always have other minions. like bittertide hydra, you want to play this in a deck where the downside doesn't mean anything. if it didn't blow up all your stuff when you brought it back with n'zoth i would be more optimistic about it.

Man are you kidding me? I was joking. Bigfatmurloc said that will be good in druid. Mine was a joke.
Joking isn't allowed on Hearthpwn, only serious comments.

Why would he clear it? Just leave it up and develop his own board, if he can play more than one then you can probably trade for one of them sure, but you can't further develop your own board at all and all that "tempo" you are talking about is gone.
Actually this will probably be tested in aggressive decks that just want to slam a a big guy on the board if there smaller minions get removed or decks with powerful deathrattles. The problem with this community is every revealed card is garbage on first look unless clearly broken, look at the praise that Drakonid operative got when it was first revealed. Bittertide Hydra sees play in pirate warrior and the downside of that card can literally lose you the game. Wouldn't say a card sucks before testing it and before seeing the rest of the cards in the set.
It has a strong body for its cost but a big downside. I actually really like cards that are powerful but come with a cost, however a problem in hearthstone is the downsides of these types of cards can be a bit too punishing.
However I remember in the last expansion there were quite a few cards that were called garbage by this community when they were first revealed and they ended up being all stars. That is why insisting a card is garbage and then going after anyone that disagrees with you can end up biting you in the backside. Look at some of the old forum posts for the Un'goro cards when they were first revealed, people got salty as hell, insisted they were right about a card sucking and attacked anyone who disagreed with them. I learnt my lesson. I'll wait to past judgement until I see more cards in this set.

The only place I can see this card being played is in a control deck where you aren't playing many creatures and have a beefy 4 drop allows you to trade with it a few times. It's still bad. Even control has some creatures, important ones. Worse yet if this shit gets aldored it just turns into a massive massive liability.
As a general rule most control decks have better answers for their 4 drops and this won't see play outside of some unforeseen new card interaction.

Pirate Warrior only wants and needs direct damage that can happen the turn it's played so a 5/6 is useless. Warlock doesn't need it either if they did all of them would be running Pit Lord.

i never mentioned tempo. this is a 4 drop for decks with few minions, like zombie chow.

Without any other cards the only viable deck I can imagine playing this is quest druid
beeing a 5 attack minion and you won't really have a board, exept berries or 5/1adapt, so it could have its spot.
but else, without any support from the set probably trash
but why blizzard, we waited 2 weeks for this? Thx
i didnt get it was it all for today? when will they reveal more cards?

This has to be the most discussion about a filler card in the history of hearthstone.
