So, long-awaited upcoming nerf to the Rogue quest got me thinking - how Blizzard is planning to nerf problematic legendaries in the future? Cause, you know, after the next expansion we will have this new "no duplicate" thing going and if said nerf will occure, someone who has full collection will have option to buy large amount of packs from set nerfed legendary is in and chain-disenchant it endlessly. Like, say, someone will buy 1000 packs - as a result he will recieve 60000 dust from the thin air, since you get legendary on average in every 20 packs and every one will give you 1600 dust (unlike usual 400) as disenchant nerf reward. You can say that since it cant be abused by casual players its not a big deal, but I dunno. Kripparian would have probably wet his pants from joy if this situation was to occure.
Not really a big problem tbh. The rich get 1200 dust richer every 40 packs? Meh.
Average pack has 100 dust in it, so it's only ~28% extra dust being added to those few who could "Abuse" it. They already have all the cards anyway ;D
Exactly. If you already have all the other cards, really... This will slightly help those who want to get full gold collections as they buy a ton of packs anyway (but probably not as they won't wait on the timing, they'll just buy when they want). So really, this isn't a "problem with nerfing legendaries", it's nothing at all.

No, it's better than that. On average you hit a legendary every 20 packs, so this is more like an extra 50% dust.
For someone with a near-full collection, even this is probably not worth doing, but stack this with other discounts and you might start getting an attractive enough cash -> dust rate to make it worth doing for a following expo. Generally if you're an experienced player dropping cash it's got to be an amazing deal to compel you to spend money at any time other than day 1 of an expansion.
You know, if you think about it, it actually even profits Blizzard. Cause to "abuse" it people will have to buy packs for real money. And sure, they will obtain unfair amount of dust for their full golden collection, but Blizzard will squeeze $ from them, which they otherwise wouldnt have spent. Shit, thats brilliant.

you'd have to be a moron just to spend real money to TRY to get dust. So, it's not an unfair amount of dust as you claim. Remember that there are more than 20 legendaries in ungoro, and the probabilities of getting the same one more than once are pretty small.
If you already have all legendarys of an expansion and a nerf happen you dust for full and after open all your packs, you will get the nerfed legendary again.
For who don't have so many packs don't make any diference.

Even from opening the massive amounts of packs that I have (see my collection), IMO the nerfs to legendaries aren't really an issue =/
You can still trade in your legendary for another one you want when the nerf hits, so the casuals aren't completely screwed.

Why would you buy 1000 packs if you have a full collection? :S
There are tons of flaws with your thinking, there is no problem at all with the changes.
