I wish the Palidon legendary was battlecry give all the minions in your hand divine shield
Actually that won't synergize with many Pally cards as they already have Divine Shield.
IMO this card is powerful, especially when it is a non-legendary, works best with divine shield and mid range, but with 1 cost thingie, it might work with aggro too.
It needs to give +3/+3 to be better than okay, which means you need to hold 3 minions when you play it on turn 5. So you're looking at a card for a midrange deck.
You also need to play all 3 minions before you actually earn back the tempo. Except by falling behind on turn 5, it is more likely that you will need to compensate by more than +3/+3, so bump that requirement to 4 minions. It's already looking grim.
Now consider that by committing to buffing those 4 minions, you now have to play those 4 minions, and not the cards you draw in the future, unless you want to delay the payoff to your investment even more.
And finally, this card is a terrible topdeck, or draw when you have too few minions in hand. It's pretty much only playable on curve.
Overall, bad card unless more support is given. Maybe if Nerubian Egg was in standard, or other cards that gain more from buffs than normal. Currently it's not enough.
I simply hate this new Paladin orientation...where is my control?
all those shaman ''new mains'' has to go somewhere since priest can't play aggro and shaman won't probably receive good cards . Blizzard has to throw a bone to this animals or they might go play something else more easier
This seems like it has potential. Those saying it is a tempo loss, in that type of deck when you drop this card he will likely be buffed already so he will probably be 5/5 or more so its not that bad. Not crazy good but worth trying out at least.
so how many minions getting buffed would be equivalent to drawing a card? Because if it's an unreasonable number, the only reason you would play this card is for synergy

But the thing is that with this +1/+1 buff kind of strategy, then you would expect the minions to at least be good without the buff.
Like how an Argent Squire is good enough without the buff and far better with it, where this is just a 4/4 on 5 without it.
Now I'm not disagreeing with you, it's just a comment. It's impossible to envision how this will function without playing a real game with it, and seeing the rest of the cards.
you have to hit 3 minions on average just for this to be good. Seems a little optimistic. If it were a 3 mana 2/2 instead could be a lot more viable, but the fact you have to wait until turn 5 is going to be pretty awkward and clunky. This is one of those cards that looks a lot more exciting than it actually is, much like a similar card Mistweaver.
I don't think that any of the cards revealed so far are what Paladin needs. Paladin either need more dragon synergy or some none-gimmicky 2 and 3-drops. I don't think this is it. I'm not gonna complain this time though since Priest finally got some love. Plus I could be wrong and Grimestreet Outfitter could turn out to be the new Shielded Minibot and Grimestreet Enforcer the new Sludge Belcher, though I got a feeling that the Enforcer is gonna end up next to his friends The Mistcaller and Sword of Justice.

Hand lock palyidain
The Mistcaller didn´t see any play and so wont this card. The tempo is just too bad.
There is no rl, just afk.

Cancer caladin confirmed ... Blizzard, learn, how to balance classes.
the mana cost of what mistcaller should of been.....
It's too weak body, but the effect coming at the end of your turn rather than being a 4/5 and having it come at the start of your turn saves the card.

Depending on the Paladin Deck this is pretty high on the kill list.
Higher target than Twilight Elder but less than Emperor Thaurissan or Ragnaros the Firelord levels of anxiety.
Not sure if hyped yet.
