for 5 mana you have 16 damage, this is just ugly and this is the main problem to why shaman is destroying meta. Even if you are far ahead in the game, you can still lose due to this dumb card (+Rockbiter combo)
I invite you to check recent Kripp's video : he's far ahead against Shamans but loses mainly because of this card, does it sound fair? NO , and no i'm not kripp's fanboy, my thoughts dont come from him, i just use his video to support what i'm saying. I'm not native english, sorry for my few mistakes, thats why i hope people will share also their opinions and explain why they feel ok with shaman or don't. As a classic card it is a bit of a problem to see some rework i must admit, but this is really needed. this card is just broken the meta.
Yes Harrison / Ooze exists. but often you won't have the time to draw it and lets be honest, its not because there's a tech against that Doomhammer that this card isn't overpowered atm with all the arsenal shaman has with.
Oh and btw no need to be salty if you're not agree, just say why and lets talk about, dont blame me or an other, we are here to discuss.
Kripp's videos are biased, this one is pure bullshit, just look at the deck he used, not even worth considering and he said in that one video that shaman is good especially against the kind of decks he likes to play, aka his homebrews, no one cares that your unrefined homebrews get destroyed dude.
Also he never seems to point out the underpowered cards Warriors have, those are all balanced.
Doomhammer is 16 damage for 5(+2) mana over 4 turns, that gives you time to tech and counter, but ofk in kripp's deck an ooze/harrison would make resurrect less efficient, but it's not the decks fault that he loses, it's the shamans fault. But that Silence,Holy Nova, MC, Medivh sure are good cards and not dead draws vs the deck you say you do your worst against.
The problem doesn't rest in Doomhammer. The true culprit is Rockbiter weapon. Solving the problem is simple, alter it to minions only. Balanced-- Done.
Doomhammer and rockbiter are in the classic set, i don't really see why it is the problem now (except overload minion synergy, but that is situational). It is costly, has an overload, and it is a weapon, which means you lose health when you attack minions. Shaman was a very bad class before TGT, and far from it that aggro variants which are popular now are hard to be countered. Shaman is as viable now as any other class, doomhammer poses no problem.
And now remember Blessing of Might and understand that this change completely killes rockbiter, which can serve as effective early game removal. To my mind, it needs to be smtn like "Can't target your hero if weapon equipped"
You lost all credibility when you used Kripps video to support your ridiculous statement on the so called op combo. First off Kripp is an arena player so it's kinda hard to take him seriously whenever he makes a video on a card being op. When he does play constructed then it is usually the lower ranks, so his statements bear little meaning compared to someone who consistently hits legend. Just my two cents and btw he is extremely biased and he appears to be someone who isn't very bright. btw the rockbiter doom hammer combo has always been around but now there are cards to make it work better. Just wait a few more months for trogg and your favorite buds to rotate out so you can go back to whining about another op combo.
The combo is fine. It's the Tunnel Trogg thats a problem. The combo was around since the beginning of the game and it wasnt Shot because even if you had 16 damage you still needed to deal 14 more. And since Trogg happened that became pretty easy for shaman.

You do realize some combos become better when new cards are released... Right?
Just because some combo isn't OP right now doesn't mean it's never gonna be OP.
Shamans have better early game now so they can afford to play Doomhammer on turn 5 because they already control board.

Sorry for bad english.
One thing they should start with is make rockbiter ''Can only target minions'' to avoid the 6 damage for 1 mana.
Fuck cubelock
My thoughts dont come from Kripp, i just use one of his videos to support what i'm saying, dumb argue.
Harrisson and Ooze is sure a fix to that problem, but you are more likely to not draw it most of the time.

The 1st step towards a better game is firing Mike Donais! We had enough of his "skillful" balances!
#FireMikeDonais

Just because you can tech against it doesn't mean its not overpowered, and no it's not "problem solved".
If you're going to be a dick about it, at least come up with a reasonable argument.
Fuck cubelock
Greatness, at any cost.
Doomhammer costs 7 mana. Overload isn't free, you know.

Wisp can do 30 damage if left unchecked for 0 mana!
