In my opinion, King Mukla is underrated a ton. For 3 you get a 5/5 with a small drawback. If they don't have a 3/2 on the board before you play Mukla on turn 2 or 3, you can hit your opponent's face and then next turn build up the board.
Maybe I sound crazy, but at least he seems good in Midrange Hunter. The whole purpose of my deck is to use cheap minions that give good value such as Animal Companion, Huge Toad and Fiery bat. (plus Houndmaster for buffs)
Plus, he's unexpected. According to Hearthstone he's used in 0.03 of decks.
But you might say "Okay, he's a bit better than I thought but there's legendaries that are way better"
True, but right now I have no idea what legendary to craft for my deck. I tried crafting Sylvanas for it. Too slow and not really needed . Rag can be replaced by Call of the Wild. So, I think he's a good option.

He's not a "good" minion, but he's considerably better than his corrupted version. He can't be played from behind on the board, he has to be played on curve, and he can't safely be played against decks that make use of lots of charge minions. None of this makes him a "bad" minion, but I also don't think he's "underrated."
*PLEASE don't be salty if you disagree*

And if you play Milling Rogue, he is natural to pop into a deck!
Mukla is a good card for tempo.
But the reward is more often than not worth the risk.
Not just minions with charge.
Think about playing that card against miracle rogue, or tempo mage or even shaman which can buff up their totems.
He is probably great against control warrior, in the mirror and good against druid
