Overtime people will move on to other decks, naturally. The cards effect is super cheap, but I still like playing a Cthun Control deck for the moment because I like the lore surrounding the core concept.
Expansions has 3 days for US and 2 days for EU and forums are all on "C'Thun is BOOOOOOO". Just like "Secret pala/aggro shammy/facehunter is BOOOOO" Learn to play and how to build different decks. Rekt your netdecking opponents. Have fun! How about that? No? Then uninstall, there is no purpose in playing the game that doesn't bring you fun. None at all.
Blizzard released C'thun to give the brainless part of community (not saying that all of C'thun players are like that, just explaining Blizzard's idea) can play simple non-aggro deck with high cost legendary. They did great at that. I really prefer to face more "I need to draw my Giant Eyeball card before you do" than "SMORC SMORC I'm an idiot".
TL:DR
C'thun decks are fine. Have fun with the game or don't play it.
These threads remind me of LoE, when people were complaining how every deck now was Reno, and you had to play Reno or you would always lose! And every class only had Reno decks!
Of course, a little while later, only Renolock (and to a lesser extent Warrior and Mage) remained as a competive deck. The same will happen for C'Thun. In a few weeks, there will be only two or three "good" C'Thun decks, and they will have counters, and those counters will have counters. In other words, we'll have a new, healthy, metagame in a little while. Stop complaining until then.
Right on... You posted what I was thinking. C'thun has un-diversified the meta. It's really boring... Same cards, same win condition. I have been a fan of hs for a while but now it's just annoying. Instead of creating a creative meta that supports multiple classes, decks and styles almost the whole expansion is tied to one or two cards. Just bad. Fun for one go around.

Go play wild . Cthun deck is not diversified ('fun' and 'diversified' was all those matches ending with druid combo , doomhammer or MC->Boom->Tirion lol), but Cthun decks made the awesome job shifting the meta from Agroo to a Midrange- Control one.
And Im not even a Cthun deck player. Made a midrange Shaman , and still waiting to lose to Cthun . From rank 5 to 3(where the competition level is pretty high) I lost only to Weapon warrior and this new Zoo. Thrashed all Cthun decks in the way
I haven't played a single C'thun deck yet, I've been roflstomping my way up the ladder with a self built pirate warrior, using the new cards. I've not lost to a cthun deck yet with it. You guys will be ok once the netdecking starts on sites like this and tempostorm, but it sucks you can't think for yourselves, really it does.
People go way too all-in on C'Thun. He is often the only way a deck can win the game, but when he is played its total overkill. I think as time goes on there will be only the best C'Thun cards left in the deck to push it only to 10/10-14/14 range and have some other big threats instead of the boring C'Thun buffs.
This thread (and the 20 before and the 20 next ones like it) are living examples and the impatience and lack of understanding about shifting meta that exists in the "me-first" culture we have to put up with these days.
"Dear Blizzard, you suck. You won't suck if you make cards that guarantee my feelings are taking into consideration and that I can win most games and have fun and no one ever used decks that I don't like. Sincerely, Salty McSatlerson III."
I actually disagree, and usually if they play their C'Thun first it's out of desperation.
Also disagree with the OP regarding putting nothing but C'Thun cards in. The only time I've seen that work was when a druid did it and basically hit a super pristine curve while my hand was cluttered with absolute junk draws. Running more than maybe 8-10 C'Thun buffers seems like a mistake.
QQ some more. Aggro destroys slow C'Thun decks. I think the addition has increased the diversity and possibilities for deck archetypes. Now aggro, mid range, and long game decks are all viable to some extent.
I have to disagree with most of the comments in this thread. C'thun has been out all of 3 days. Give it a week or two and then see where the meta lives. And if you don't like it, go over into Wild since C'thun is less prevalent there (at least at ranks 15-10 for me). Or take some time to devise a deck that will counter C'thun priest. There is always a deck that is stronger than the one you are playing, you just need to find the right cards and playstyle.
And if C'thun is ruining your fun that much, then just don't play. ;)

Quit complaining and just have fun with this game!
I feel like we have a rock-paper-scissors type meta going on here. Aggro beats super late game (C'Thun), C'Thun beats mid range/tempo, and mid range/tempo beats aggro. I applaud the balancing done by blizzard, so far I don't feel like any is absolutely overwhelmingly strong, but they're all viable. Although we need to wait for the meta to settle. You don't measure the volume of water in a pot during an earthquake
Not to mention, because of the way C'Thun works, you'll have to play all cards or none, since one is worthless without the other, making all decks more or less the same.
You don't? No one in the right mind every single C'Thun card into a C'Thun deck, just like no one in the right mind would put soot spewer into mech mage.

People who refuses to play aggro out of principle are even worse than people who play exclusively aggro.
One should seek to become a complete player and play all archetypes, including ones that he despises for whatever irrational reasons.

C'Thun is quiet good. Y'all are just sour loosers who cant deal with the fact that most of you get your asses kicked. C'THUN RULEZZZZZ

professional pilferers prefer proper preparation
So hang on a minute...
Is it warrior decks, priest decks, shaman decks, druid decks or warlock reno decks we're worried about?
As we're all griping against the majority of classes then surely it works, as each hero has a counter to the others?
At least let the Meta settle before you over complain!

Secret Paladins were cancer too right after TGT release. And where are they now?

Boring C'Thun, boring ideas, boring cards, the worst xpac ever.
I forgot that "corrupted" Stormwind board. Lazy asses.
