Oh sure, Nat friggen Pagle gets to get Corrupted, but Millhouse Manastorm, who has ACTUAL ties to the Old Gods, doesn't get a thing!
They could have had SO much fun in designing a Corrupted Millhouse's effect: It could have been something that affects minions, could have added a specific spell to your hand, made both players automatically play all the spells in their hand (random targets), ANYTHING! SOMETHING! They could have made it a genuinely powerful effect, or they could have given Corrupted Millhouse an effect with the possibility of making things go SUPER wrong for you.
But no, "We give Nat's effect, but for the other player, and call it a card."
You have made a great enemy, Mr. Pagle! Those devoted to His Mightyness will not stand for this offense! \('^' )/

Calm down, Mr. Manastorm. You gave the world Jaraxxus. This guy just fishes. Still! He still just fishes! You're alright in my book.

(In all seriousness, I really am disappointed. Since Millhouse is considered one of the worst cards in the game, and one of the few cards that can outright LOSE you the game if you play it, Blizzard has missed an amazing opportunity to make a Corrupted Millhouse something special. Maybe not make it the most powerful card, but something cool and unique. In the offchance I get a golden Darkfisher, I'm dusting it, crafting Millhouse, and recording it out of protest.)
(And it was Wilfred who summoned Jaraxxus: I think the popular Jaraxxus Rap mentions his name, and there's a special interaction between the Wilfred card and Jaraxxus. Millhouse, would eventually become apart of the Twilights Hammer cult, specifically being "The Forgemaster" who would turn Deathwing's blood into monsters to fight for the cults cause... or so I've been told, because I haven't really played WoW)
Nat Pagle went from In-Every-Deck-Like-Doctor-Boom to Literally Unplayable status after the 50% chance nerf. This card is AMAZING inmill, because they need a little tempo, and acceptable, but not really worth including in all other decks.
This is so excellent to get from Golden Monkey against a control mirror
Not to mention being a Shredder nerf in Wild. I actually like it, not because anyone will play it (outside of Mill), but because of what it means for already existing cards.
Anyone remember playing mill decks during Naxx era, both before and after the Undertaker nerf? Dancing Swords was played for a while until people realized it wasn't usually helping force an overdraw. The extra stats didn't help much either, since mill decks weren't running enough minions to keep up with aggressive decks. Giving one card draw at a time typically gives your opponent a card advantage without getting close to the hand limit. Nat, the Darkfisher will probably not be as consistent as Dancing Swords was, since it has 2 less attack and only a 50% chance to force a draw each turn it's alive (which is likely 1 turn). It certainly has high value at fatigue point, but is likely a bad or underwhelming draw before then. It's also probably something you'd rather get from the Golden Monkey, in the same way you'd rather have Malorne show up in the Golden Monkey instead of putting a copy in your deck.
Still, with the loss of Deathlord among a few other goodies in Naxx and GvG, there might be space for this card. I'll be crafting one to try it anyway, but I don't expect it to be a staple of fatigue decks.
Honestly, I don't think this would see play even in mill decks: Dancing Swords didn't really see much play in those decks either, at least I don't think it did.
I think you'd rather have instant effects like Coldlight Oracle or Naturalize, rather than slower effects: That way, you can catch your opponent off-guard and probably burn the cards, instead of giving them some time to deal with that card (And empty their hand as a result).
And while the effect DOES happen at the start of the enemy's turn, it's a 50% chance, so even if they have 9-10 cards in hand already (Not unlikely, considering how mill decks operate), there's a good chance you won't be burning anything. While I won't say it'll NEVER burn a card or two, I can't help but feel like there's a few other cards you might rather want to play.
putting this straight in my mill deck
Don't worry guys he's got your back
did not expect this card at all now i want one
I put my faith in the light
shredder nerf PogChamp

Well you're getting the credit. And most gnomes look the same to me.

Hidden effect: when Nat, the Darkfisher and Nat Pagle are both on board your monitor emanates the stink of dead fish.

Gets my vote for worst in set.
I voted for very good, but that's only because mill rogue is one of my favourite decks to play. Other the. That, it's complete sh***

Honestly... pretty bad, but mill decks though?

I feel it would have been better (at least for mill) if it was a 2 mana 4/4 with 'your opponent draws 2 cards.'
