I think people are missing the point with this card. Maybe the 4 health for 4 mana is not great but a 3/4 body is not that bad actually. And if you can get a Jaraxxus or Illidian for free, c'mon thats just insane. And at worst case scenario you bait out a silence.
I don't see it being used with sense demons, because thats just a bad card, but sacrificial pack for more aggressive decks isn't actually that bad. I think this card has alot of potential and it will see some play and even better, it will revive Illidian and Jaraxxus. If most people have trouble killing Ysera and Malygos on turn 10, tell me how you are going to deal with a 3/15 Jaraxxus on turn 5. I love this card
I love this card as well. It'll be amazing to take the dust of those demons for a fun deck, even if it turns out not competitive.
Interesting to see how priest would be so good against it. With many ways to silence and thougstealing the pacts it would be a matchup to be very careful, but certainly possible to workaround.
Even though many people have taken it for granted, the card, at least to me, seems to lack a certain word us HS players know and love; Random.
If it turns out to be a "chooseable" effect, this card is absolutely off the hook. Not that I expect it to be, but the lack of the word suggests that you just might be able to pick which card to play on top of this.
Lol. EVERY time they preview a card this happens. It's random! The randomness is implied.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking aswell, still felt like pointing out that it isn't specified though.

It's not specified on any of the Naxx random cards. For better or worse, Blizzard expects us to figure out that it's random by using common sense.
The thing is this card scales very well into later game development. Right now it has limited use because most Warloc minions are only average ( mostly because of negative battle cry I think, their stats are very good) but maybe after 2 or 3 more expansions, we will have better neutral demons to make use of it, it would be insanely good. The thing is it can summon high cost demons at very early stage without having to use any mana, that's a huge tempo gain. Imagine T3 Void caller, T4 6/7 Void Terror + Illidan Stomrage on the field, how are you going to deal with it?
If they release one card a week and there are still 2 class cards it might take 3 more weeks for naxx to be released...
I sincerely hope they are not going to release one card every week up till 30 though :D
I do think they should release Naxx faster as actually few players pay to play this game now. I have been playing this game for free for about 6-month and I have almost every card. Many people who has participated in this game probably have been playing this game without paying anything about 8-9 month. The card pool desperately needs some stirring new cards. They aimed at a summer release and I want that to be close to 23rd June.
I guess I'm the only person playing sacrificial pact now? Seeing so many zoo decks, thought I'd try it out. Destroyed a doomguard for the win this morning. Wish I could have seen the guys face....
As for this card, I think there are too many variables to make it worthwhile. If you have this and lord Jarxxus or sense demons, but then once you use sense demons, it's basically a dead card in your hand.....just too many bad draws available to make this work well.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
There are 3 kinds of people in the world. Those that can count and those that can't.
This is aimed at Balckovic's post. You missed Illidan. Who is likely the best demon too. Seriously that guy is a beast if you somehow get him out for free on turn 4-5 before you even play any cards. Smash him into something, get Illidan for free, play the rest of your hand. You just went from nothing to almost a full board. Unless your opponent has a really good aoe answer right away it could easily be GG. Or with handlock, follow up with a giant. I would think a 7/5 a 2/1 and an 8/8 would be tough to deal with on turn four.
Imagine a turn 7 (+coin) or 8: Baron Rivendare + Voidcaller + Sacrificial Pact Obviously with another 2 big demons on hand, like Pit Lord and Dread Infernal.
Alarm-o-Bot is way more random and it is also depending on the oponents mercy. With Sacrificial Pact, Void Terror, Power Overwhelming and Shadowflame, this combo doesnt care about opponents silence. Its kinda OP by itself, but we will see how it will work in the Naxx meta (like if every 2nd player in the ladder runs 2xSac Pact, T4 Jaraxxus wont be a big deal).
If you're playing this card for combos, you're in a bad spot. Sacrificial pact + Voidcaller is only good if you're putting some big ass minion. Power Overwhelming + Void Terror + Voidcaller is a bad combo. It will rarelly work and most of the time Void Terror will get silenced and you "wasted" 2 cards and one batllecry (Naxx will probably bring other cards that Void Terror works better). BUT Shadowflame + Voidcaller is nice, 3 damage AOE and you replace Voidcaller with other minion sounds good.
And I don't think T4 Jaraxxus is that good. I mean 3/15 is a beast but it has too many counters. If you manage to do that in arena is a auto win, but in constructed I don't think so... Maybe I'm wrong...
Well, at least it's better than the mage card. They're going to wait and save priest for last and it's going to be just like priest...the worst thing imaginable.

This card fits Zoo really well. It's a 3/4 which it's not bad and can summon your Doomguard without discarding anything.
But I'm dissatisfied. I expected something crazier than this.
EDIT: Vanilla Lord Jaraxxus giving the most insane value ever to Shadow Word: Pain.
Alarm-o-Bot can summon Deathwing on turn 2. No, this card it's not OP at all.

An eye for an eye, leads the whole world blind.
Why is it such a good combo with Void Terror ? I mean, it's battlecry won't activate so you'll only get a 3/3 right?

So Alarmobot is op, isnt it?

I'd imagine you eat the void caller with void terror to trigger the deathrattle.

I can't wait for the expansion to come out. Everyone will play all these deathrattles and I'll happily dominate with a silencer Priest ^^
Maybe this question is a little bit off topic but... What happens if you use sacrificial pact on yourself while you're Jaraxxus?
EU
You lose the game.

Doomguard without discarding 2 cards, why not :)
