Just as a starter, you really could use tech cards like Dirty Rat, Deathlord or Hecklebot. That entire deck seems overly reliant on Spectral Pillager, remove that, as well as Edwin, and they pretty much lose...
That's not a new deck, it definitely got some more tools with Darkmoon Faire but that Umbral Skulker + Spectral Pilager + Spirit of the Shark combo has been a thing for a while as I said but with cards like Cloak of Shadows, Foxy Fraud and specially Swindle it got more consistent, but it has the same issues as it always did. As MagicalUnicorn said, if you're playing a slow deck you can play all the disrruputurs and hope you eventually hit the Pillager and you win on the spot, but that's not super reliable as the deck runs other minions. The best way to beat this deck is just good ol' aggro.
This deck is a lot of fun. But I took out the evil miscreant as it would clog up your hand with draconic lackeys. Most damage I got to do was 48 twice to the face but that is perfect hand and draw.
I was having some moderate success (50%WR over ~30 matches), all the way up to legend, with this variant:
### Pillager # Class: Rogue # Format: Wild # # 1x (0) Counterfeit Coin # 2x (0) Preparation # 2x (0) Shadowstep # 1x (1) Patches the Pirate # 2x (1) Praise Galakrond! # 2x (1) Prize Plunderer # 2x (1) Secret Passage # 2x (1) Southsea Deckhand # 2x (2) Foxy Fraud # 2x (2) Swindle # 2x (3) Raiding Party # 2x (4) Dread Corsair # 1x (4) Spirit of the Shark # 1x (4) Umbral Skulker # 2x (4) Waggle Pick # 2x (5) Cutting Class # 1x (6) Spectral Pillager # 1x (7) Galakrond, the Nightmare # AAEBAaIHBvW7ApG8ApfnArSGA7auA8vAAwztAtQF7gaGCdWMA4mbA7muA6rLA/fUA9/dA+fdA/PdAwA= # # To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and create a new deck in Hearthstone
The idea is to use Pirates + Weapons to draw very fast through your whole deck with cards like Raiding Party and Cutting Class. Waggle Pick is nice as it provides you effectively 2 additional shadowsteps. The deck has absolutely no redundant cards: exactly 2 invokes (the cheapest ones), 1 Spirit of the Shark, 1 Spectral Pillger, 1 Umbral Skulker. With so much draw, drawing your combo pieces is never an issue (I often had an empty deck by turn 8), and the pirate package provides you an early game tempo that improves your chances of surviving vs aggro. Sometimes I was able to chip in so much early damage with my minions that a t6-t7 'mini' combo for 10-15 damage was enough to finish them off
The deck loses badly to Secret Mage, but eats slow decks like Renolock and Big Priest for breakfast.
How can you counter this one:

The guy who did 60 damage to me took 5 mins to play out his deck and eventually bm me...
I love wild

Aye, thank you, good advice.

This deck has been around before with some modifications. I even did some games with the deck as far as i remeber.
Its like every other OTK deck...feels godlike when you get the combo and sucks major ass if you dont get it and just die
