Wild is supposed to be fun and wacky with crazy cards and combos.
No. Wild is supposed to be another serious mode with larger card pool. So, how about you start a petition to make that toxic card casual only and play your dice game there.
Casual is supposed to be the fun mode where the game can be enjoyed so how about Yogg is made Ranked only?
Am, I really miss casting those fireworks, I would warmly welcome seeing Yogg reverted back, but some people might get salty when they lose to stupid RNG in wild.
I had a better idea before - why not make casual exclusive cards instead?
- casual will become a place, where you will definitely aim to have fun
- you will attract more people onto that format
- you can make some of the trash/niche tier cards cheaper (cost- and dust-wise) - Yogg Saron with countless other minions will get buffed
[edit] Because he was clearly made for entertaining purposes, so why change that. For me it's logical that all of the fun but unpractical cards have to be supported in one way or another - popularizing the casual format will lead to experimanting with the rest of the cards, Some forgotten ones will suddenly start to see play. I think that every card designer would want to see that with their own work.
You can't make casual only cards unless you allow players to refund their full dust cost after getting them, or having a casual-only expansion, as anyone who doesn't want to play casually isn't going to buy packs where these cards can appear. Both of these options lose blizzard a decent chunk of money.
Praise Yogg from whom all RNG flooooows!!! Praise him all minions here below!!! Praise him above ye Uldarian hosts!! Praise tendrils, death, and unholy hosts!!! Amen!
Blizzard is making an attempt at serious wild competitive play, so I don't see this happening. If it ever becomes optimal in a Wild deck, they'll look silly for unnerfing it.

Thank you!
It is weird that everyone who wants Yogg back is a standard player.....
I play wild exclusively and I would love the old yogg back. With how degenerate wild is right now I don't see how anyone could think old yogg would be a problem. If you can play 10-20 spells in a match and then play a 10 mana card in wild you deserve to win.

Wild is and will be forever a mess with more and more cards leaving Standard. As if Yogg would actually break the non-existent balance.
I don’t see why they wouldn’t. Their reasoning for the need was mainly due to competitive play and they don’t give a shit about wild “competitive” play so un nerf our lord!
Yogg was the first legendary I have ever crafted (maybe even the first card) and playing him in almost every deck during Whispers of the Old Gods was the most fun time I've had in Hearthstone to date. Please Blizzard this needs to happen!
Yes please! Prenerf Yogg was such a fun deck to play... Just cycle through your deck with cheap spells and wild pyromancer and just go ham with it, killing yourself in the process.
Would be extra fun with any new echo spells to get a really big Yogg.
Sadly I believe Peter Whalen said during the first Witchwood reveal stream that while unstable evolution does give yogg an additional spell for every cast, other echo spells don't (that's why they won't change the card text for unstable evolution). I'm not 100% sure if that's the case but I wouldn't get your hopes up :(
It was nerfed, cause mage was pretty ugly with that. But in times of naga and 3/9 taunts all the way and old Yogg would be blessing for wild. Pro Yogg!

Who said anything about breaking the balance? It's a stupid out of the blue RNG card that either wins or looses you the game (or making an impossible game even). It requires zero skill. And no, a 10 mana card should'nt win you the game by default, like some of you are saying.
And The "there are other stupid cards" argument might be the dumbest of them all. That requires banning those cards (yes Ban, not nerf) not adding another.
And to that someone who compared Yogg and Call to Arms, are you really that ignorant? Call to arms is a great card, but easy to counter if you want. When Yogg is played you just have to pray for the best.

some people are just idiots, still defending yogg as a non-toxic card. you can't reason with them
Signed..but don't have the 15 bucks to contribute.....yet :3
He could get reverted, if he was banned from ladder/tournaments.

Acting as if the nerf was anything but a knee-jerk reaction to a minority of very loud spectators with no competitive experience.

/signed Give him back pre-nerfed, no real reason not to now.

Signed. I play wild just as much as standard and I too would love pre-nerf Yogg back. If we make a big enough fuss it might actually happen!

Now that it left standard and is no longer a problem for the pros it really SHOULD be reverted to its original state since wild is primarily for fun.
