I had an above average pool with 3 epics and 5 rares, and few bad picks overall. The Southsea Deckhand's ability even became relevant when I thoughtstealed a Shaman's Stormforged Axe. Funny.
I was skeptical of the deck at first after the draft, because it was halfway between aggro and control but as it turns out trading early drops and dominating the late game with card advantage spells makes you win. Fancy that.
For funsies, here's a list of the creatures killed by Big Game Hunter's 187:
200 gold and 2 packs, which is apparently the standard 9 wins package. Got a Lightning Storm in one of the packs, which I was missing for my Shaman deck so that's cool ;D
@Varox: yeah Priest is pretty ridiculous... I managed 7 wins with Hunter and 8 with Druid but this run was like a steamroller, I didn't even come close to losing any game. I'm going to go out on a limb btw and say that Shadow Madness is better than Mind Control. It was completely sick every time I played it.
This is what I drafted and took to 9-0.

- 1 Molten Giant
- 1 Sea Giant
- 1 Ironbark Protector
- 1 Lightspawn w/ Divine Spirit
I went 9-1 with priest. The one loss was a disconnect...
My draft had 5 mindcontrols... picked 4 + 1 holy nova.
