Hey guys, I just got back into Hearthstone after a very long break (stopped playing before Frozen Throne came) and always loved (miss my old Deathrattle Jade Rogue and Sherazin Miracle Rogue) and still love (Pogo Rogue) as a class and have already crafted a few of the legendaries good in the decks. Namely Zilliax, Togwaggle, Hooktusk (which I regard as an impulsive premature decision honestly and kinda regret since I wouldn't have dust problems now if I didn't do it) and have drawn a Barista Lynchen and Electra. (already have Edwin, Thalnos and Leeroy)
Atm I'm debating whether I'd rather craft Myra's Unstable Element and Captain Greenskin (classic set which is a pro) to have more options there or branch into shaman since I got Electra and potentially craft Kragwa or Zentimo (and there are still loads of rares and epics needed) for the more Miracle-esque aggro decks which I think would be fun to play for me. Would have to dust Glinda, Alkali and Gonk though which I'v sadly drawn. (still lucky though)
I think "all for one class" is a bad strategy unless that class is all you will ever play seriously.
As Blizzard just introduced buffs, dusting legendaries just got a lot more dangerous, at least in standard. There are good reasons to expect RR and WW buffs in the near future...
My general crafting strategy is to only go for ones you know for sure you will play, and you really enjoy the playstyle of the deck you are going for. Try to have a good idea of what to expect though streams and friends (deck borrowing OP.) Even the wisest crafts are bad if the cards just end up sitting in your collection.
For close calls, you will end up crafting both eventually, pick with your gut and don't worry. The journey of completing decks has often been an enjoyable part of the game for me!
Definetly a bad idee to only craft cards for a deck legendary or not, Best would be to craft cards that are neutral but ultimately it comes down to what you like to play.I mean if you only like to play 1-2 classes craft the cards that are being played , what I mean is don't decide by rarity its best to go for rares/epics if your missing a lot of card from collection then getting legendarys.
I love having Legendaries for many classes so I craft the ones I need for certain decks, but for some reason I'm extremely lucky with the drops for Rogue (my favorite class) - I got all the standard legendaries from simple pack drops, and recently from Toki's bundle I received Valeera the hollow. So I have a ton of legendaries for rogue and not even one crafted.

Craft Classic cards first, always. Once your Classic collection is solid, then start grabbing the good cards from Standard expansions.
Also, don't dust anything but extras. You will be sorry, I guarantee.

I would rather just craft the good ones.
