They need to go for at least a season... With the new Brann it's just Murloc spam and everyone is on a race to get murlocs from tavern 5 forward... it is sucking the fun out of the game. There is nothing more frustrating than pulling a good dragon run and lose against divine shield and poison just because the other players got lucky an pulled a Brann with 5 murlocs to get a Beast to give the tiny things those abilities. It destroys variety and strategy as there is only one tribe that is able to win most of the time.

I have been in so many lobbies where murlocs were not the winners ... I just can't validate anybody's complaints over them. I have pushed murlocs and made it 3 or 4, and many others where I made top 8 ... but just because an unlucky loss is inevitable doesn't mean they're broken. Every comp has potential to win, the most disadvantaged is probably demons ... and I usually avoid them at all costs. Sorry bud, this is just another salt thread ... you should probably take your complaints.
"Remember when you lost your shit and drove your car into the garden? You got out and said 'I'm sorry' to the vines, and no one saw it?" I need my girl
Sorry buddy, murlocs mostly don't work when you push it early. You have to get incredibly lucky to pull it off from the beginning. Good non salty players know that you need to have a good midrange build and hit tavern 5 in order to fish for a Bran, the King or the discover 2 murlocs, so you can triple and get the Megasaur. I too have been in many lobbies where Murlocs don't win, and I never claimed that they do (Learn to read it will do wonders).
The problem lies in the final comp of Bran/triple/Mega and now Amalgadan. Demons, Dragons, Pirates, Managerie take time to build up and being able to be taken down by a 2-3 turn comp should not be a thing. And yet, you can see most players going for the Murloc comp. I am one of them and it is incredibly effective to the point of feeling dirty lol.
In the future avoid the condescending tone and be more articulate in your discussion, it will do wonders!

That is reductionist at best. There are plenty of lobbies I have been in where early murlocs comes out on top. If you can get a full board of murlocs or a few triples early on, you’re in a good position. Likewise, that damn cannon might not outright win matches, but it will keep you alive. Most likely outcome I see is someone pushing early murlocs, buffing as much health to them as possible (they typically don’t need attack) then hitting a brann/megasaur and winning. Given, most players using this strategy lose health until they have less than 10, then never lose again.
The problems I see with murlocs are the brann/megasaur combo and single players dropping out of a lobby. When there is a free win in a lobby, it improves the odds of murlocs surviving the mid game and allows for them to upgrade a tavern for any cost without immediate punishment. I don’t think murlocs should be removed, but all of the double battlecry/death rattles should go (Brann, macaw and rivendare). I also don’t know how to fix the drop out problem, but being matched against a drop out speeds up the game progress which directly benefits murlocs.
Ok I have played 5 games today and got 1st 3 times with murlocs, 3rd once with Murlocs and 5th without Murlocs. Stats do not lie. This is not a salt or reductionist statement. It is a proven strategy that has a really high probability of winning in the hands of a player that knows how to play it. Kinda like "Get in Here Warrior"
Stats people, not speculation.

I think you are arguing the same point everyone in here is. Divine shield poison murlocs are nearly impossible to beat. Look at that, your three first places all have brann, even a golden brann. Your third no brann. One of your firsts is pyramad, who is probably one of the best heroes for murlocs since you can sell off a token and make them much less squishy.
Not to split hairs, but five games isn’t stats it’s anecdote. However, those five games are representative of the meta. Want to win? Brann murlocs. Dragons, beasts and pirates are great to finish top 4. Mechs and especially demons need some help.
The main problem with Murlocs in my opinion is how one dimensional they are. They have only one build and they either win hard or get completely destroyed. It's frustrating to lose to exact same build again and again. It's also frustrating trying to make them work and not getting any of the needed pieces. It would be nice if they had a different build path like tokens or something else.
This is exactly what I am talking about, Kragg was playing pirates the whole time and transition to murlocs after 5 at the last minute. I was left at 1 health after that round but murlocs were able to pull off another win. Pic is not showing Brann because I pressed the keyboard wrong :P.
These are facts. Cold, hard facts.

Of course you are right, but in my opinion the problem is not about the overall winrate.
The problem is about the pressure you feel in every game where murlocs are not excluded, because you know at least 3ppl will attempt to go full murlocs, and if one of them succeed he's probably going to be unbeatable. So, many times you end up being one of those who attempt.
The games I enjoy the most from beginning to end are the ones where murlocs are excluded. I heard many others, streamers and stuff, making this statement. Is it really a coincidence?
That doesn't mean you are going to win because of no murlocs, it's not about winning, it's about enjoying the match.
But now the game is actually more balanced, because with amalgadon you can have murlocs even if you don't have a murlocs build. It's a good change, but it's fun that to beat murlocs you have to be a murloc. Lol

Don't worry Blizzard will fix it by moving Goldrinn to tier 7.

The problem lies in your attitude. Funny how you advise lack of condescension in your response. Nobody takes the word of a hypocrite. Salt is salt bud, https://www.hearthpwn.com/forums/hearthstone-general/general-discussion/212005-group-therapy-need-to-blow-off-steam-mega-salty

Aren't you the poster that mentioned reductionism? ROFL I guess it works only one way :P

In this order:
Ghoul+Nadina+5 buffed dragons
Geez, looks who won the tavern ROFL. Really ridiculous. LOL
Sure not a problem, it's my imagination hahahahaha
Seriously, today 10 out of 11 taverns the 1st place has been divine shield poison murlocs. One guy won with a crazy lucky Beast comp early.

And then the murlocs have bigger stats than your dragons anyway and plants to pop shields.
