They are not salty about every single tier 1 deck in the game. They don't think you are cancer or should kill yourself. They don't "think" to the rope just to punish you for playing a deck that counters them. To be honest, if you have a closer look on people that hate locks for playing a meta deck and write about their hate in every thread possible, you'll find out that cubelock players are pure gold, synthesized from benevolence and modesty.
Hi im wild player and warlock is only class i play :) i play only control/combo/tempo decks (renolock, handlock, demonlock, Even handlock, Even renolock, otk, "zoo with tempo", kill myself lock, betrayallock etc).. i dont play cubelock because its not my kind of playstyle. First i never said anything needs a nerf or whining here on forum. There is only one thing that i would change.i would forbide to post decks online :) i really hate netdecking and cause if it there is no meta deversity... Last 50 games i played 34 games vs paladins...like wtf. Im mostly winning vs them but it is boring to play only vs 3-4 same dexks constantly :/ i miss deckbuilding creativity, im 100% sure that almost 80% players dont know how to build viable deck by themself...that is only thing i dont like but you can do NOTHING to stop that... There will always be tryhards that think they will get 1929837374738 billions of dollars if they reach legend....but even if they do come on HCT witj some mirracle....they probably wont know how to make deck for it...cause there is good amount of teching and unusuall cards :)
I don't have a problem with Cubelock as a deck, I do have a problem with every single bloody Cubelock player roping to the end of each turn. The deck has been around since December, it's not new. How long does it take to figure it out?
I'm not sure about kindness, but anyway... I myself prefer control style decks. I've been a handlock player before, as soon as I could get my hands on giants I started playing control warlock. Then numerous iterations came, including Renolock, then Kazakus, etc. Cubelock and modern control lock are just iterations of a previously good deck, as I can tell. Meta was different back then, but the deck was the same.
Putting 4 mana Leeroy + PO + Faceless was no different than having Cubes and Doomguards. Doomguards might be easier to summon these days, but IMO old handlock was more reliable from a pure combo point of view.
not to rain on ur parade but i had a few encounters with the not so lovely cubelocks... played even handlock to rank 5 and decided to tech in geist cuz of all the cubes and taunt druids... this guy FLAMED on me for playing a weird cancer deck with geist... he literally started the sentence (if i can call it that) with: “and what the hell am i supposed to say to ppl like u?”
i was just like :-O
...like...ME?
worth gold but still, u got all sorts of players across all categories is my point:-)
It is absolutely true that Cubelock players are the ones complaining the less. They're aware the deck they play have strengths and weaknesses, and they're okay with other decks being the same.
"Of course, they have the most OP deck! Why would they complain?" - some random idiot
Paladin and Druid have a higher win-rate, while being WAAAY easier to play.

Indeed, they politely greet you at the start of the match to show you how mannered they are, they rope you every turn in order to give you time to rethink about your life choices and they also say "Thank you" after they beat the shit out of you, because, you know, they're canadian.
And this is why we shouldn't nerf Cubelocks because that would be like removing kindness and a world without kindness is not a world worth living in.
They are not salty about every single tier 1 deck in the game.
And why who play a Glorious GOD TIER 0 master race deck will be salty about a dirty Tier 1 peasant?
There are more paladins then cubelocks :)
Because it is a cheap deck without much thinking compared to Cubelock. Still, Cubelock ist way stronger in the hands of people that can at least count to 10. The problem is, when you are able to count up to 20, you are intelligent enough to play Cubelock. No combo deck was that easy and forgiving before.
Everytime I get salty in this game I switch to Cubelock to win almost all of my games and get satisfied. Not even a damn joke. Cubelock is an abomination if handled correctly. Makes it even worse when stupid people playing wrong still beat several decks of you because Cubelock doesn't punish you for that many misplays.
There is a reason it will be nerfed (it will because when Blizz says they look further into it they are already playtesting everything, they are just slowcookers)
This seems the same that Razakus players said about Razakus deck. Fortunately the deck were nerfed. I hope the same for warlock. It is very frustrating. Also Razakus players said that Razakus were a deck skill based like someone of you said about cubelock. My opinion is no! If a deck is so overpowered is NOT skill based because you don’t need skill to win. When you are playing a deck with over 60% win rate there is no skill in the deck. Even if you are a very very bad player you will have 55% win rate and this is fine in order to reach legend. So it is NOT skill based because overpowered and I hope in a big nerf. (Like for pala eh)

Because only Cubelock use emotes, it is known.
Funny because I can swear that 95% of the time, I get a "Well Played" right before I get a lethal Pyroblast to my face.

Cubelock is not only high tier, it also has few polarised matchups (which is possibly more important than being top tier).
Ofc they don't complain.
Same goes for Even Paladins and Spiteful Druids.

As a cubelock player, I testify to this.
Well, I suppose if you've been the top of the food-chain for quite a while, it's difficult to be salty and hate other decks.^^
German children are kinder.

They're kind enough to play cubelock lmao.
