Hey guys, this is a fan-made patch notes that I decided to post here, I am bored so let us begin:
Patch 1.0.Nuba:
New Features:
Added chat rooms: General and Tournament Rooms! Added Spectator Mode! Spectator mode: Now there is a newly created tab, that allow players to watch other player's games, the delay on spectator mode is 5minutes. Added Twitch support! Added Tournament Mode! Added Tournament Support: Now, any player is able to host live tournaments in our newly added tournament mode, currently we only have LHS (last hero standing) tournament mode for bo3 and bo5. There are 3 different types of tournament that can be choosen: Single elimination, Swiss, and Swiss with top 4/8/16 cut. The tournament can be open or invitational, depending on the hosts preferences and can be set as bo1, bo3 or bo5. Anyone can start a tournament! there is a list of open tournaments and a tool to find tournaments, as well as a inbox for invitational tournaments, where you can accept or decline invitations.
Preparation: Reworked, now its a 2 mana spell that reads: "Draw a card. The next spell you cast this turn will get +2 spellpower."
Shaman:
Al'Akir the Windlord: Now is a 4/5 (up from 3/5). (despite the fact it sinergizes well with shaman class, his stats were below avarage, given the fact it was on the level of a neutral expert card rather than a class legendary)
Druid:
Savage Roar: Now costs 4 Mana. (Up from 3). (The reason behind this is because this card is above others in general power, uping its cost to 4 makes it so the combo with Force of Nature Can not benefict from double savage roar, it also delays the combo in 1 turn)
I'll just focus on the fan-made card changes rather than the above part since that's just stuff people want.
Nozdormu: Would help Nozdormu, though it does mess up the all Dragon Aspects being 9 (minus Deathwing)
Death is pretty poor right now, though I feel a better way to fix it would be to keep it at 3 but give it Draw 1 Card.
Preparation: I feel like Preparation would not see much play if this is what the card became. I know people hate Miracle, but I feel there are better ways to slow them down.
Al'Akir being a 4/5 might actually be boarderline broken, but some testing would have to be done to figure out if it's truly too strong.
Savage Roar: I'm okay with this. Combo is a turn 10 play which is fine imo, and you need two Innervates to be able to double Savage Roar Combo rather than just one currently.

You thought there would be something inspirational here didn't you?
I believe Al'akir has actually been a 4/5 at some point during the closed beta (some Blizzard guy once elaborated on this) and he was changed to a 3/5 because of being utterly broken.
Preparation is ok, shadowstep should be change (1 mana or 0 mana reduce cost to (1) mana). And Nozdormu text that i like is : 6 mana 8/8 - Cannot attack, 10 seconds for the turn. So if you silence it, 10 second limit will go but 8/8 body now is the threat =)
According to me, the Preparation change idea is horrible. What you want to do is basically limit it to only work in one kind of deck. The only change prep needs is to raise the cost from 0 to 1. This would balance the current miracle deck alot.
I see where you want to go with Savage Roar, but that card is not the problem. The problem is, who would've guessed, another 0 cost card. Innervate. Personally I think it should be changed to a 1 cost spell that gives 3 mana crystals. Now, this doesn't remove the combo possibilities, but rather lowers chances of getting those extremely strong early/mid-game board presences.
your first statement makes it sound like you have no idea whatsoever of how deck building works. I thought about that change to make it the most wide possible, different from the current one(that only fits one particular strategy). Also, if you think about it for more than 5 seconds you'll realize 1 mana prep would make the card completely shit and that the only way to fix miracle outside of nerfing gadgetzan, is to completely change Prep.
Nozdormu could easily take that change. An 8/8 for 8 isn't super great, however I think making this card more playable is dangerous just from a gameplay perspective. The player playing it is probably fine, but he player playing against it could easily be in deep trouble, and obviously if you ever have a connection issue or lag when its in play you're just ruined, though I'd love to see it playable, I generally play fairly fast and I hate all the slow players haha.
Shadow Word: Death doesn't need changed. The biggest issue is a bit double sided. For one, its already mana efficient against the card its killing 99% of the time, and secondly, its obviously that the card is meant to be a "bigger" spell than Shadow Word: Pain so making them the same cost makes no sense. The other suggested change to add draw is perhaps the most absurd thing I've ever read. Adding card draw to hard removal would increase the cost by at least 2 if not 3 more mana because of how much value it gives.
Preparation is a card alot of people think is part of the miracle problem, but I am not firmly in that camp. I think the change here almost makes the card unplayable. Yes, that would indeed kill Miracle, but I also don't think that card really has a home at that cost, but maybe some new deck would show up, but the larger purpose of this card is to activate Combo, like the ability in WoW which gives you free combo points, this doesn't give you that, its a very difficult enabler.
Al'Akir the Windlord is already a fairly powerful charge, something alot of people already aren't happy about. That being charge and how it warps games. Adding another 8 damage charger wouldn't do anything but enrage the masses even more. I know you love shaman, but they can't buff Al'Akir in that way atm. I've though of them making him cost 6 or 7 and having overload 3 or 2 respectively, just for flavor.
Savage Roar This card doesn't seem like the main offender to me. Yes it synergies with Force of Nature, but otherwise it doesn't do nearly as much, and making it cost 4 does make if feel grossly weak. I don't think it would kill the card or the combo in all truth, but the combo isn't as much the issue as the double roar you can only get off Innervate. Innervate isn't strictly card value though and I don't find it or the druid combo nearly as oppressive as most. But maybe this is one change that could really go through.

To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of the women.
Prep is pretty necessary in elegance rogue with maly, not only a miracle deck card... the card does need to be changed but not in the way described above, imho.....

I like preparation and AlAkir changes but why do you think shadow word death need to be even cheaper?
Too situational and mana inneficient. its a situational card, that not only has a condition but will always be, at best, a 1 for 1.

Cool. Though I strongly disagree with changing prep, it's an innervate sidegrade. Tho a card with the text you suggested would be sick.
Unless explicitly stated, my posts are my opinion and mine only.

since when its a nerf? preparation is useless outside of miracle, but in miracle its completely overpowered.
This would make the card more special, and fit in different strategies. Just imagine it + Fan of Knives or Blade Flurry

5 minute delay is only 4 turns; you could easily track cards not played from the hand by spectating your own game from a different account.
If vs. Freeze mage and he starts with Alex in hand your strategy could change.
Realistically needs to be 30 minutes.

SWD is a 1 for 1 at WORST, not best. if you buff the creature with another card, its a 2 for 1, for example. and no cards have 5+ attack and draw.
it is ALWAYS an efficient trade, it is just hurt by being situational.
