Before Soulfire was nerfed, it cost 0 mana. A warlock deck consisting of 30 Soulfires dished out 8 damage per turn, starting from turn 1. (Draw Soulfire, play Soulfire, Life Tap, play Soulfire.) The discards don't matter, because after the first turn your hand is always empty. Almost guaranteed win on turn 4.

Any damage that's not going towards the face is just not going to work. Pretty much all the suggested loadouts are direct damage spells, you can't afford to be wasting them on minions. (Or in the case of Mind Blast, literally cannot use it on minions)
T4 Arcane missiles x4 -> 30 dmg totals. But you only get 8 cards as 2nd until T4 while I used 10. darn. Maybe with bloodmage thalnos who boosts arcane shot and then dies drawing you cards? Naaaah. :/

I would use 30 Fireballs. The opponent likely couldn't kill you before turn 9 anyway, unless he was a face something. XD
