Battlecry: Fill your hand with "Discarded Vengeance"
Hero Power: Discard a card and deal 2 damage. Lifesteal
Discarded Vengeance (Cost 2)
When this is discarded: Deal 2 damage to a random enemy
Idk about the discarded vengance part.
It fills your hand with spells that are useless when played, if it's 0 mana, it still makes it bad since you basically paid 10 mana to get them in your hand in the first place.
If they cost any mana, you will discard your next card (will not make progress on the warlock quest or give Lana'thel attack) since you wasted all your mana.
The hero power is kinda similar and worse than the priest DK hero power.
Thanks for the suggestion though!
how will it not make progress to quest? The Discarded vengeance are cards and how will it not give lanathel attack?
Edit: Hero power is also good because it basically deal 4 damage and 2 lifesteal by discarding the copies of discarded vengeance. In a discard warlock, the hand is not gonna be much in the late game beside from the given card. Also, the discard effect is also not to worry about because even if your hand is empty, just like all the other discarding card, it would still deal 2 damage and lifesteal for 2. Yea, the cost of discarded vengeance doesn't matter, I just did that to not abused card with effect from using spell
Edit 2: I was thinking about giving "Discarded Vengeance" also work with when play but that might break the card and be abuseable. Maybe I could raised the cost to 4 and let it be when discarded or play like Fist of Jaraxxus
It's not that hard: control wins aggro and loses to midrange. Combo should never be included in this equation. I'm a banana. Bananas don't speak English. New Hero Power 2 mana: Discover a card you discarded this game
This would have some interesting strategies. If you only discard 3 cards each game you could reliably get a guaranteed card each turn. A guaranteed Ragnaros each turn? Yes please.
Battlecry: For the rest of the game summon every minion you discard
Hero Power: Discard a card and draw a card
inorder to make this work, they need more silverware golem first or else the hero power would be almost useless even if you discard low cost for high cost it still worst than hunter make a beast

OMG I wonder who wouldn't die of crying from discarding ragnaros before then

If you have a full hand and you draw a card, you technically discard the card but it doesn't count you discarding.
Thats what i said Lana'thel doesn't gain attack and the quest doesn't progress.

yea I thought about the effect of having 10 card in hand too actually. I believe though that his hero power is strong and you probably will still have a few card in hand to play when you fill your hand with 'Discarded Vengeance" so you don't lose next turn. the following turn you can just top deck then hero power to deal 4 damage, heal 2, and play a card which is very powerful in the late game

Pretty good aswell!
How about changing the hero power into: "Discover a card you discarded this game, summon it." ?
Since the battlecry is not worth 10 mana, the hero power will increase it's value by a ton.
10 Mana Battlecry: Destroy ALL Minions. Hero Power: (passive) At the end of your turn summon a discarded minion and give It lifesteal.
Wow that seems kinda good really.
At turn 10, your opponent can summon any minion practically and if you get a weak card that was discarded, that isnt THAT good but the board clear looks pretty good and makes up for it.
Warlock has a lot of board clears, like treachery + doomsayer, twisting nether, DOOM! too.
Board clear is similar to Shadowreaper Anduin's effect, i doubt they will actually put that as the warlock DK's hero power.
When you discard it, it will return to your hand and then get summoned?
Or is it the other way around?
Nonetheless, pretty good card.
*warlock still needs healing though*
*insert genji i need healing meme*
Current Hearthstone mechanic will summon it then return it to hand rendering it useless
She would still gain the buff, and be played after she returns to your hand.
I imagined it to work not with existing discard cards, like sivelware golems, nor to work with battlecry ( obviously ) but to "soften" those bad cases when you discard something that's really good.
You could potentially play a Lakkari Felhound and discard 2 Doomguards and using a faceless manipulator for 15 damage. It would be really good with most charge, deathrattles effects, or an anti discard or self damage cards. Remaining viable since it doesn't work with spells
Excuse me if I'm wrong, but it's been confirmed somewhere that it's 10 mana, right? If so, I expect the battlecry to be something extremely powerful like "summon every minion you discarded this game," and the hero power to summon a random minion you discarded. It makes sense flavor-wise, and it seems like something they'd do (they always push an archetype until it works, and currently discard does NOT work). I still don't think this would make much of an impact on the discard archetype though, considering Warlock can't even make it to turn 10. There's still a rare and a common however, and as far-fetched as it may be, maybe one of those will bring the whole deck together.

technically the battlecry as summon every minion you discarded is pretty balance really not OP.

If I am not wrong, she would only become a 4/4 because it is summon then returned to hand with +2/+2 and usually when a card return to hand it lose all of it effect. (unlike when discard)

How about:
10 mana 5 armor
Battlecry: destroy all minions on your side of the board and summon a 6/6 demon with taunt for each
New hero power 2 mana: cast Sacrificial Pact summon a 3/3 demon
Edit: summons the 3/3 demon even if you can't Sacrificial Pact anything

What about a persistent effect like the mage one
Battlecry: For the rest of the game summon every minion you discard
Hero Power: Discard a card and draw a card
And i don’t even play Paladins
10 mana 5 armor,
Battlecry: Cast corruption on all enemy minions
New Hero Power 2 mana: Discover a card you discarded this game
This would have some interesting strategies. If you only discard 3 cards each game you could reliably get a guaranteed card each turn. A guaranteed Ragnaros each turn? Yes please.

Hero power could possibly be a passive : when you discard a card, draw a card.
