I'm happy to tell you that shaman has a very viable deck in the current meta which is basically the simplexity shaman (credits to him!) deck with a slight change.
I changed 1x Bomb Lobber with a Fel Reaver and it works wonders!
This deck fights for board control since turn 1 and when you have a decent board and drop Fel Reaver on turn 5 (or even turn 4 with a mechwarper on the board) it get's so devastating for the enemy to deal with it.
The high legend meta is atm full with mech mage and druids, which have the biggest problem dealing with a Fel Reaver. Mages basically need to spend a fireball + a frostbolt on it or make unfavourable trades by trading 1,2 or even 3 minions into it. If they ignore it and try to mill your deck, they will get punished by 8 damage to the face a turn and believe me, they won't survive long enough to fatigue you.
Druids need to get lucky to draw into BGH (which they toss away 99% of the time if they face a shaman) even if they have it, it just makes room for a devastating Dr. Boom on turn 7.
Doomhammer is one of the most important cards in the deck. I can't tell you how many times I finished my opponents off with a Doomhammer + Rockbiter Weapon combo. Doomhammer is also extremely good if you fight for board pressence. If I am at a comfortable health total, I even use 2x charges of it to kill an Azure Drake , Spider Tank etc.
Once you actually get to legend, using weird decks or tech cards can net you some decent results but a deck's ability to actually reach legend in the first place is what makes it considered "viable".
Well, this deck already has windfury cards: Doomhammer and Whirling Zap-o-matic . I think running Windspeaker would make the deck too "gimmicky" for it to be viable. Also: this deck mostly fights for board pressence early on, a windspeaker wouldn't necessary help with that.
There is no card draw needed since you try to curve out every turn. There are obviously games where you will just topdeck every turn, but that's how the deck works.

Here's the deck:
and here's the prove of my rank:
I know it's pretty early in the season, but there are atleast 300+ legends on EU at the moment, which is a decent result for the deck so far.
Edit: I only tried to run the deck with 1x Fel Reaver , but maybe it would work even better with 2 copies of it.
How necessary is Doomhammer?

Thanks for the suggestion tho :)
Congrats. One question - I find the Bomb Lobber version gets stifled by no card draw. How did you find that during your climb?
