Hello Guys, This is Madskull and I am an old time player of TCG in general and a player of Hearthstone since Beta, This is not my first post here as I wrote about and created some of the decks a while back in season 1-2 (Author of the 2 most viewed deck-posts in the shaman section). I just recently came back from my hiatus because of college reasons and my goal is to hit the legendary rankings in this season :)
This is my first deck in GvG, I found it to be quite good so far. I am still climbing up the ladder and I just reached Rank 7, and it is going good so far. All your Feedback is appreciated and if you find out something not of your liking please be kind and tell me with the reasoning behind it.

I find myself encountering more Paladin and Mage these days and BGH seems like it could be replaced since they don't really run 7+ atk creatures.
Sure it's useful against handlock but I find that matchup quite favourable for Shaman without BGH anyway.
I have found BGH to be really successful so far, I have used it without its effect twice in around 15-25 game which is great. There are always some targets to get it's worth from (Dr. Boom anyone?), in addition the reason it is added is because there are very few cards to deal with end game ones so I had trouble with Hardlocks, warriors and druids simply because I don't have that much of an answer to them.
I would have pretty much the same question than Ayasim. I'd also be curious to know how the enhance-o-mecano is performing for you? In a very similar decklist, I use Loatheb instead.
Enhance is a very wild card to be honest, it won me some and lost me some, only reason I have it here is because I don't have Dr. Boom as of yet in addition it can be a game winner when it gives windfury (to the right target >.> ), Loatheb is good but Enhance can be devastating, though I can see either of the cards in tbh.
Well Abusive Sergeant can't stand well on his own, this is a decent 4/4 drop. in addition, the 1 health of abusive is really bad
I know. That's why I want to clarify the purpose of Dark Iron Dwarf.
Is it mainly for the +2 ATK so the small minions can trade better? Or do you feel turn 4 is usually weak and are trying to offer an alternative in Dark Iron Dwarf?

It goes well with BGH, I only have 1 drop in 4 mana, it is true that we usually overload turn 3 but I like at least having the option to drop a 4, in addition to the powered up trades.
@ Ayasim: Agreed, I think Blood knight would be a great addition to a control Shaman with all the divine shields running around right now. I threw one down on turn three with a paladin who had Annoy-o-tron and Argent Squire on the board. He auto-conceded. its just a great card even if you strip your own shields to get him beefier. With hex and earthshock I do not think Shaman really needs BGH right now.

Blood Knight is really a meta call and probably more suited to tournaments.
I still wish Blizzard allowed us to have a side-deck of 3 to 5 cards and change before a match begins.
Against Control Warriors, Hunters, Zoolocks and Priests it is really subpar unless they run annoy-a-tron. Even then I'd be more likely to run Black Knight instead.

it is a meta call, and even then the meta at different ranks changes also. Everyone, listen to Ayasim. the meta determines cards to play. TBK is ok, what would be better than that???
I don't like Blood knight right now to be honest, there aren't that many divine shield except from paladins. Won't be consistent. BGH have a value everywhere now because of Dr. Boom alone.
I respectfully disagree. along with unstable portal, recombobulator, piloted shredder, and neutral divine shield minions I feel like BK could have lots of potential. just like BGH, BK is situational. you wouldn't throw him down whenever. I often have had BGH just sitting in my hand all game long, but sometimes I got to use him. It is a meta call, but it is also rank call and is based on deck type. both are situational and could benefit control decks a lot.
Just popping in to say I have revised my opinion of Blood Knight. With how popular annoy-a-tron is, this card is definitely worth considering.
Just today I had around 5 out of 15 games where I faced annoy-a-tron (vs. Mage, Shaman, even hunter(!)) and they were all so stunned when I dropped this turn 3 vs their annoy-a-tron that the rope started burning.
This is rank 3 btw.

Interesting, I used to have BK in my decks back in season 2, I know it has a lot of potential. But the thing is I don't face them that much, maybe for you guys it something else. I prefer to have the option to finish off a 7+ monster than having the option to remove the divine shield of some 1 monster.
true but a turn 3 6/6 or even 9/9(I did it) has a crippling effect on opponent morale. late game is hex, or even silence to get around big minions for face. I generally save hexes for big things like iron barks or giants. silences are great against belchers. its not about 1 mana minion drops its about taking away what they thought they had in one fell swoop. maybe they can deal with it and maybe they can't, but it creates pressure and pressure creates bad decisions. you are a great player madskull, so i believe you when you say you don't believe BK isn't a viable option for Shaman play. but as Ayasim said lots and lots of people are playing annoy-o's, for good reason they are good 2 drops. anyway, this is fun theory talk. good luck out there my fellow Shaman players!
Thanks for the compliments mate, you are a good player as well and I love theory crafting with fellow shamans, You might be totally right but what I am coming from is statistics, BK is 1 card from 30, the chances that you pull it in the first mulligan is not that high since you have only 1 copy of it. Furthermore, These divine shield creatures are usually dropped in turn 1-4, so statistically it's not that good of a card. In addition the only common card among all players is Annoytrons, basically 2 cards that aren't necessarily there cuz most people prefer Haunted Creeper in non mech decks. Basically you are limiting it's use to Mech and Pally decks while BGH is viable to all decks except zoos and sometimes hunters. It is true we have hexes but against handlocks and warriors we need more control cards. This is just my complete reasoning behind it.

updated deck list, I am rank 5 currently as well
Edit: I am considering Dark Iron Dwarf instead of Zombie Chow

Any particular reason?
I used Dark Iron Dwarf in another version of my deck as activator for nerubian egg.
If you want to use it in combo with BGH I recommend Abusive Sergeant so you can meet the mana requirement more easily.
