I am trying to make a decent deck with the Karazhan cards. I can not figure out what kind of Rogue deck wants this stupid fork.
1. Miracle Rogue. This thing is horrendously slow for Miracle Rogue.
2. Tempo Rogue. You lose tempo when you play the body, then again when you play the fork.
3. Reno Rogue. Maybe, haven't tried it yet. That kind of makes sense N'Zoth resummons it.....
I think the real problem is this thing would be ok in a control deck if you didn't care about your health but you can't heal well....sooooo What do I do with this stupid fork!?
Going to out on a limb here, try this: Not using a bad card in your deck?
This card, is really bad, don't use it.
It has some potential in the long run if rogue ever got solid healing and could make a very slow control deck, but that isn't currently possible, making this card completely bad. It's not the worst pick in arena, but still not great.
I'm using it right now, Your not wrong it is nearing Tentacles for Arms bad. In a meta that is 2000% percent slower this would be playable. Welcome to reality bros. I need this weapon to equip for this to be playable. Not go in my hand. I just really want to use all the cards some.

The meta+rogue lacking sustain tools. It just can't work right now. Miracle rogue works because they don't need to use weapons very much, while warrior uses weapons and makes up for it with massive armor boosts. Rogue just doesn't have what they need to make weapons viable from a control standpoint.
At least warrior could actually use tentacles for arms, there's just really no reason for it when they have so many better weapons.
I play it in my N'Zoth deck in place of one of the raptors. Looks good it slow matchups, helps to force pressure to the opponent. It also helps in the situation where you're sitting on the topdeck with a bad hand waiting for a minion to play.
It's funny how Rogue finaly got a solid standalone 3-drop that you can play in any deck and people complain. Do you rather play a blank SI:7 Agent or Unearthed Raptor then a 3/2 that gives you a Deadly-Poisoned-Weapon in 1 cardslot? And god forbid using it in Aggro-Rogue, because everyone loves to bash Aggro. Other classes would kill for this card, even if they already have 3-drops.
But why would you play a 3 drop into a 3 drop, especially in Aggro where you need to spend every mana you get.
You think its worth playing a 3/2 on turn 3 and then playing a a fiery war axe on turn 4? In aggro????
This is an awful card for aggro, it's a solid card for a control rogue which doesn't currently exist.
It's way too slow, rogue already has the problem that they always just get faced down and this card only adds to that. The only possible spot I would indeed see for this card is Reno/N'Zoth they should rework this card to deathrattle equip a 3/2 weapon or battlecry equip a 3/2 weapon then it would be good, and still not broken.

How is this solid? And Yes ill propably play S7,Raptor blank over this. And the point you miss is, that it doesnt give you a deadly poison, it gives you a 3/2 weapon for 3 that a humongous difference in a class that utilizes cheap spells for combo. if this Card would actually give you a Deadly poison it would be well playable.

Many Aggro-decks play 3-drops, so your argument doesn't hold up in that case.
I didn't say Aggro doesn't play 3 drops, my point is that they wouldn't play a 3 drop INTO a 3 drop because they are so dependent on playing on curve to push damage within the first 6 turns.
This card is the definition of a slow card. You're paying 6 mana for 2 understated cards because it's 2 cards in one. The issue is that both cards are worse than the versions that aggro would typical run, and they are bad curve plays.
Look at what tools Aggro has run that are 3/2s
Aggro shaman runs an invaluable 3 drop that far outshines this card.
Knife juggler before it was nerfed was a ridiculous 3/2 and it was a 2 mana drop.
Hell, zoo has a 1 mana 3/2.
Face hunter ran way better cards for being aggressive in 2 mana and 3 mana slots. You would really compare this card to Cloaked Huntress? Or a huge toad? To animal companion?
Is there even a close comparison out there? You talk about how it can activate combos, of course, but you're playing a fiery war axe on turn 4, and only if you can combo it with a 1 mana card. What are you going to cold blood? You aren't going to win the board with a 3/2 on turn 3. You have an arcanite reaper, but so what? None of the combos are going to give you anything huge, and will lead to you not pushing anywhere near enough because you threw a huge tempo loss onto the board on turn 3.
The only time this card is even worth mentioning playing is on Turn 3, any other time it will play really bad to play, as anything with 2 health would be on turn 4 or later.
Rogues need more cards that don't require combos and enable, just like shaman use to need cards that don't have overload. Unfortunately this card makes you feel bad for playing it, since your combos are used on a losing board. If blade flurry was still relevant, maybe this card would be, but for now rogues will need a 3 drop that can stand on it's own and not hurt you twice in a row.
Huge Toad and Cloaked Huntress weren't even around when Face-Hunter was a thing, which goes to show since then you play this game and how little you know about Aggro-decks. Facehunter died out when pre-nerf Patron and Secret-Paladin started seeing play, since both hard-countered it. Face-Shaman had Crackle and no 4mana 7/7 or 0mana 5/5 Taunt and it's curve ended at 3 with the exception of Doomhammer.
Face hunter is a thing now....and it's using those cards, which sounds like you aren't paying attention to the current meta (makes sense since you think deadly fork is a thing)
When face hunter was a deck before the only 3 drops they would run were immediate damage cards. Again I don't see the comparison. They did however run Knife juggler, which would obviously get outshined by deadly fork. Face hunter couldn't afford to run anything at 3 mana that wouldn't have an immediate impact. That's why their curve ended at 3.
Using the older Aggro Shaman comparison is just idiotic because the older aggro shaman was a highly spell based deck. Why would you compare minions to spells. Now that it's a minion based deck with spell/weapon finishers, look at what cards it picks, things that have insane synergy or huge impact or damage early on.
However it is really funny how you think I just started playing when my join date is right to the left of all my posts. How ignorant do you have to be to not notice that.
'Rogues need more cards that don't require combos and enable, just like shaman use to need cards that don't have overload.'
'They did however run Knife juggler, which would obviously get outshined by deadly fork.'
You just proved my point with your own words, especially by saying that Deadly Fork outshines pre-nerf Knife Juggler in some decks, since Knife Juggler was an auto-include in every Aggro-deck.
I was being sarcastic. Knife juggler is one of the most ridiculous 2 drops ever made, and it still is much better than this card. Imagine that, a 2 mana card that got nerfed, is better than 3 mana class card.

Oh, thats why I see S7 and Raptor being played all the time at turn 3. /s
Yup dropping S7 on 3 is a play you see regular even at high legend and in tournament. /closed

Yah I'm beginning to think this guy has no clue what he's talking about. Getting something on the board at all is very important early game :/
There is no reason to use this card. Is the answer I came to.
1. You can make a 3/2 with Deadly Poison. Being a one mana spell it also has synergies with your combo cards and Auctioneer.
2. You can make a 3/2 or a 2/2 weapon with two minions that are better to play on curve. Southsea Squidface. Pirate that buffs your weapon, I don't remember it's name, it is a one drop with typical stats.
3. You can ping 2 damage with two better cards. SI:7 Agent with suffers only one stat lose as oppose to 2 stat lose, and Backstab. Backstab also has synergies with Auctioneer and Combo Cards.
4. Knife Juggler is better then Deadly Fork...but why would you run Knife Juggler in Rogue. I don't understand.
5. Deadly Fork is a control card. It is a value card not a tempo card. You get two cards for one but both are very slow. It is horrendous tempo. You lose tempo on the minion and the weapon. as both are over costed for there stats.
6. A blank SI:7 Agent or Unearthed Raptor, may actually be better then the fork. A well stated minion could very often be better then two bad cards actually. lol.
7. Possibly the biggest reason why this card is bad is because slow control Rogue decks are bad. Mostly it is the lack of healing and survivability. In a class thats biggest flaw is dying before you reach the late game or can pull off your combo. A weapon is pretty useless. There are some Reno Archetypes you could fit this into but they are tier 3 at best and I don't think this card does much to improve that.
Deadly Fork could've been a lot better, but I'm currently playing one in a custom reno rogue and it's not that terrible. Advantages are:
-As a Reno rogue, I don't care much about holding tempo every turn, because I tend to play value or get big tempo swings later in the game. The ultra expensive Fiery War Axe gives you more removal.
-Against control is a lot more value than SI:7 (but naturally, it does not sub SI:7, that's why I run both).
-Lowers your usual huge curve so you can always play it turn 3 against aggro while you hold for something better.
-Good synergy with both Unearthed Raptor and N'Zoth.
-Southsea Squidface needs you to have a full weapon to get full value from it. With this one you just need not to get it silenced (and if that happens, maybe even better, that's a silence that does'nt go for your real drops like Sylvanas or Emperor Thaurissan).
I think it's a pretty good drop for slow matchups, nevertheless is far from what rogue actually needed.

OH SHIT! I just realized this card is nerfed Southsea Squidface!
1. Bad stats for 3 mana versus decent stats for 4 mana
2. Makes you pay 3 mana for a 3/2 weapon when it dies. gives your hero power +2 dmg basically giving you 3/2 weapon for free when it dies
alight I am very done with this stupid card. lol
lol eat with it xDDDD
ill see myself out
fork is a arena card, there is top pick
Oh I just realized what Blizzard had in mind. They wanted you to play the shitty Pirate that makes this weapon free.
I play it in my N'Zoth deck in place of one of the raptors. Looks good it slow matchups, helps to force pressure to the opponent. It also helps in the situation where you're sitting on the topdeck with a bad hand waiting for a minion to play.

Fuck cubelock
This card annoyed me. You pay 3 mana for a 2 drop, then get a 3 mana war axe. 6 mana in total for a weapon warriors play turn two
