I've played around with it a bit, and I'm on the fence as to whether the combo is good. It seems like a very clever way to pull key cards like Raza the Chained and Shadowreaper Anduin consistently. When it has helped me get to those key cards, I've been very pleased, but when I naturally draw the key cards first, I rarely want to play Hemet, Jungle Hunter and Archbishop Benedictus, leaving two high cost cards rotting in my hand the whole game. Here are some of my thoughts on it:
Archbishop Benedictus may not get you new low cost cards, and he may not get you many cards at all - Druid is very popular and has so much ramp and draw power that they may fatigue before you do.
I couldn't find any stats on HSReplay, so I assume this combo isn't being played enough to have meaningful statistics that would confirm or deny its success. Can folks who have played a lot with this combo provide any insights?
You can actually play archbishop anytime after you activated raza and have anduin in your hand. Your enemy actually has quite good cards in their decks. It works and probably can be used for a legend grind but sure it's not the most effective one.
Evolve shaman is probably the worst match up. Or exodia mage.
all in all it's a very flexible deck. People tend to feel on the upper side when you play hemet. They play generous on removals since you have only 3-4 cards left in the deck. Playing archbishop afterwards is 90% complimented with a "wow" emote and a concede a few turns later. Half the time though you just win without the combo and it plays like a normal high lander.
... All in all he is only a win more card. Or a win con for fatigue decks, but those don't work right now.
I'm not sure that this is entirely accurate. I've run in to quite a few mill rogues lately, and Benedictus has saved me in most of those matches. I don't use Hemet, and I'm still only sorry to see Benedictus about 10-15% of the times that he pops up. Control vs control matchups happen often enough that some kind of anti-fatigue insurance is quite helpful.
With the forthcoming pseudo nerf ,and druid dominating meta, I feel normal Highlander is already not really standing a chance on ladder.
You don't think normal Highlander Priest doesn't stand a chance on ladder? It's already one of the best decks on ladder, and may surpass Jade Druid post nerfs.
I'm still playing around with my lists for this deck, but nowadays I expect that Hemet, Jungle Hunter will be a lot more important post-nerf because the number of Highlander Priest decks running around will increase, and you'll want him to beat the mirror.

I'm currently trying this list, it's very similar to the usual raza priest I run but adding in Hemet and benedictus. If anyone would like to try this too please give me some feedback.
I've been playing something similar to the above decklist. I think it will do more favorably when aggro takes a step back with the Pirate and Token Druid nerfs.
Adding Hemet, Bishop, and Geist (if you weren't already running it) does not help your early game curve. But, I've won a lot of my control match ups.
I'm not sure the Hemet-Bishop builds are better than the standard cycle builds or the Velen-Mirage builds, but it's way more fun!

Is the Archbishop worth running without Hemet? Just extra fuel?
