I wanted to showcase my Priest deck for the upcoming Standard mode and wanted to ask you for suggestions on what to include and what not, as this deck is obviously quite unpolished and not final, because of the fact that there are still cards to be revealed left.
I do not see enough sinergy to use herald volazj here, its just too slow
If it is to be that slow i would rather have a reno deck, as you have low amount of 2x cards you can change it easily.
I would take off 1 nova and add the 5 mana 3 dmg aoe.
and if i was going to run darkshire alchemist, i would run it with embrace the shadows, along with flash heals and circles of healing so i could have even more removals , dealing 5 dmg to minions or even bursting face on late game and having 4 dmg aoe with 2 cards ( its a flame strike for 2 mana).
So i think that if you focus more on Nzoth as a win condition it is way better, you can play slowly , removing big minions with death and using a lot of board clear, and then playing slow deathrattle minions such as cairne , sylvanas, etc.
In my opinion, Herald is too easy to play around, and it too hard to make a minion such as ragnaros to stick more than a turn. If ragnaros is sticking, you won the game already anyways..

1. Probably you're right regarding your opinion that a "pure" N'Zoth deck would be better. I don't know which user said that, but to paraphrase him, he said that regarding Volazj there will be two factions - one which sees him already as a too gimmicky card and the other side, which starts falling in love with that card and therefore start messing around with it in diverse multifaceted decks, just to realize later that Volazj simply isn't good enough. I fall into the latter category and I will try to make a good deck with him in it.
2. I also like N'Zoth a lot, so I put up the crazy plan to combine them in one deck and I won't go away from this route. So there is no Volazj available to be taken out.
3. Who says the Herald is there "to be played around"? I see him more as a tempo tool which can provide some nifty tempo gain when played. Just copying one of Sylvanas, Cairne or even Ragnaros makes it totally worth it. And Brann adds even more value.
4. Because of the fact that I don't run many taunts, I included more heals. Darkshire Alchemist is just here to recover, especially with Brann. The same applies to Refreshment Vendor. I understand your point that the Alchemist would be way more effective when used together with Embrace the Shadow, Auchenai etc., but I don't need those combos in this deck or in fact have the place for them. The clear win condition here is N'Zoth. And the goal is play your powerful deathrattle minions as often as you can - Museum Curator and Herald Volazj help with this.
5. Regarding Excavated Evil...yes, I have that in mind, too, as a replacement. But with the department of LIghtbomb, Priest lacks any great AoE which is unfortunate. Especially Shaman causes some fear in me. In fact, I believe from now on you have to try to gain a better early game as a Priest. So I included Flame Juggler and Wild Pyromancer.
I believe, once you reached the mid-to-late game with this deck you won't lose anymore. But the difficult thing is ensure that you will get there.
Hey guys,
I wanted to showcase my Priest deck for the upcoming Standard mode and wanted to ask you for suggestions on what to include and what not, as this deck is obviously quite unpolished and not final, because of the fact that there are still cards to be revealed left.
You can see the deck in my signature.
Made some bigger changes with the new cards.
