So, I'm starting to lose faith and just think i'm not creative enough to build my own deck here. BUT maybe I just need practice.
I end up going in and thinking every card is good but i can only pick 30 lol.
Here is a pally deck I put together, and i've won a few but lost more. I know a few combos, but putting a deck together of good cards that work well together just seems a bit overwhelming with the amount of cards when i go into the collection book. Is this a beginner problem or am I just not cut out for deck building? I love playing the game, but i'm just overwhelmed when it comes to getting in there and CREATING something of my own.
I think it should also be noted that this is my very first foray into CCG's besides Duel of Champions (which i didnt play much, and esp didnt build decks in), so this whole process is totally new to me.
Sword of Justice - is great if you're going for the buffing of creatures.
Argent Protector - good for protecting your larger creatures or make so you don't have to trade and you jsut get the kill
Hmm personally I don't like Eye for an Eye but that's just me. You could always put in Sun walker or Shield Master (best taunt for the cost in the game imo) if you want the taunt.
I'll have to think. I'm sure I can think of some things as the day goes on ha. Also if you didn't know already you can always put wisdom on your opponents creatures and draw cards off that. It can also stop them from attack with that creature. I've seen it done several time XD
The collection page is a little overwhelming it's not because you're new to ccg it's just because you're new to the game. I've played so many card games and the first couple times you look at it and you aren't familiar with the cards it is very overwhelming and yes they do all look good to till you play them : P.
Light's Justice - Can win you early game alone, try adding one and see how it does for you. Aldor Peacekeeper - If you craft only one pair of cards, craft two of these Sword of Justice - Work towards these, they're Epic quality Dark Iron Dwarf - Good, beefy, card. Synergizes well with Pally power.
Those are four important ones off the top of my head.
Any idea what type of play style you want to aim for? I can do much more with advice if I get a little hint of what you're trying to accomplish. Repentance + Light's Justice = Fun lulz. Then stay healthy with two Guardian of Kings. I like slow Paladin decks more, too bad I don't have such beefy neutral cards.
Decided to try out a basic Pally deck, it's very much a mid-game deck with a strong transition into late game, keeping up taunts and slowly gaining card advantage and trading up until you take control late game.
Also, Value Consecrates, nothing like it - http://puu.sh/4vwcP.jpg That hand was the result of only playing a Light's Justice, Noble Sacrifice, Ooze, Acolyte of Pain and summoning 1/1's so I can force the opponent to overplay his hand. Overplay he did, and I get an easy win. I'll edit my deck I made below this.
That's probally what I would do If I made a pally deck or at least something along those lines.
I love Leeroy too much. He combos really well with Blessing of kings, Youthful Brew (so if it's late game you can play him again that same turn for 12 dmg.), Bubbles as well for his survivability if you wish.
Youthful brew is good. He combos well with all the battle cry and is a good card himself 3/2 for 2.
Lay on hands can be a good late game card but not if you're losing that's for sure ha.

Anyway, here is the deck:

There you go. It's your deck just easier to read now : P
First off I would get rid of Silverback Patriarch that card is terrible. I would also get rid of Frostwolf grunt not that great either.
Aldor Peacekeeper - great card
Sword of Justice - is great if you're going for the buffing of creatures.
Argent Protector - good for protecting your larger creatures or make so you don't have to trade and you jsut get the kill

I have no Peacekeepers, Sword of Justice, Argent Commander, add those as you see fit, I'll leave it up to your experience.

Yeah, Leeroy is a great bomb with Consecrate, you're definitely not lacking cheap board clear with Leeroy
Lay on Hands would be especially potent in my deck, just didn't want to list epics because Peacekeepers come first, then Sword of Justice imo
