I suppose you could count equality as it's "hard removal?" A paladin's strength is in numbers as his hero power would hint to, which would allow equality to do some good work. Maybe they just don't need it?
Lol naturalize. I for one demand a paladin equivalent to naturalize. Aldor peacekeeper and equality are pretty useful for neutralizing threats I'd say.
with 2 cards, paladin can clear any number of creatures with any amount of hp (divine shield not included). They may not have a 1-1 hard removal, but they have the best board clear. Not to mention aldor + kodo kills a thing or just aldor making any big beater useless.
As stated above Paladin has equality + avenging wraith/pyro/consecration. Its one of the best combos in the game imo and while the other Paladin class cards aren't exactly removal aldor peacekeeper and humility do a good job as well of dealing with big minions. I feel its a balance thing and who knows maybe in the future Paladin will get hard removal but i doubt it. The class is pretty well balanced when it comes to dealing with individual big minions. Aggro is the bigger issue for Paladin.
Paladins have made it this far without hard removals.
IT is strange that Warriors get a 1 card board sweep, 1 mana hard removal, 1 mana removal (shield slam) that is easy to use, 7 or 3 mana hard removal. SEVERAL AoE spells that synergize with their cards and other neuutral cards, and a weapon with a deathrattle that cannot be silenced. All these spells that destroy minions, but they are the melee class... They are more annoying than Shamans now I think.
I think the problem is not that paladins lack certain cards, but that other classes have too many tools compared to us.
Equality is basically hard removal on an entire board considering Paladin's hero power. And then you have things such as Divine Sheilds everywhere and Aldor.
Also, every class has a notable weakness:
Mage - Lack of solid minions; lack of card-draw mechanics. Decent AoE is at 6/7 mana.
Warrior - Lack of non-situational removal [Execute needs a damaged enemy; Sheild Slam needs Armor, Crush usually needs a damaged ally]. Reliance on weapons [So can be hurt bad by Taunts or Freeze] and/or combos [EG: Grommash activators]
Shaman - Lack of defense, Overload is a Double-Edged Sword, Horrible Card-draw mechanics [None outside of a 0/3 minion]
Druid - Lack of strong earlygame. Bad hard removal.
Warlock - Anti-synergy between class cards. Class cards tend to be weaker than other classes. Burns his own HP.
Rouge - Reliant on combos, individual cards tend to be weak
Preist - 4 Attack Gap. Low offensive potential.
Hunter - Reliance on Beast Synergy; lategame tends to be rather poor besides Highmane, Hero power has no effect on the board and is very 'win more' [Hunter isn't really attrition due to bad defense]. True AoE is lacking [You can play around Explosive Trap; Hounds isn't really an AoE]
Paladin - No outright single-target hard removal. Draw mechanics are lacking [But not as bad as Shaman and Mage]. No burst.
For that matter every class has notable strengths too:
Mage: Burst and Freeze
Warrior: Endurance and lots of removal
Shaman: Burst and ability to 'Pay Later'. Efficient Cards.
Druid: Ramping; strong lategame minions
Warlock: Hand manipulation; Power at a Price
Rouge - Draw and Burst ability. Weapon buffing
Preist: Good removal, unpredictabilty, can increase value of cards by healing or health buffing
Hunter: Can rush down well, hero power puts enemies on a timer and forces them to react; Savannah Highmane is a card
Paladin: Stat manipulation; both buffs and debuffs; heavy self-healing; Hero power summons a minion. Can clear anything on the enemy board at once without Divine Sheild or a ressurective Deathrattle for only 6 mana; or wipe the ENTIRE board for 4.
Paladin has the only AoE Hard Removal; except for maybe Warrior's Brawl which is RNG.
Hey All!
I realized recently that every single class has a hard removal (or really good soft removal) except for Paladin. Is there a reason for this?
Building Quirky Decks Every Week, Loving Life at Rank 15!
Deadly shot isnt a good removal due to its randomness. Also execute need preparing, Polymorph and Hex leaves body, Naturalize have huge drawback.
I bring life and pffffffffffffff!

Equality (is disgusting), Aldor, Humility and the cheapest board clear the game has is more than enough.
