Elekk doesn't need to be something special. It's a 3/2 beast which is already enough to be a 2-drop filler for Hunter(Back in vanilla we were using Bloodfen Raptor in that slot). Battlecry is just a little bonus, gives you huge advantage when it actually goes off, but doesn't fucks you up completely if you lose joust.
So, i've experimented with AC a lot lately. This is my current version of astral deck, feel free to give me advices on how to improve it. Keep in mind, it's not a tier 1 (well, not even tier 3) competitive deck obviously due to high level of randomness involved. Sometimes you stuck with hand full of 9-drops and all you can do is just sit and watch how you slowly dying. Sometimes you get perfect innervate AC, but then draw 2 swipes and two Mire Keepers in a row afterwards. Shit happens, but when it works it can stomp and crash any deck no matter of archetype or how good your opponent draws. You can afford to take some damage early on and even leave intimidating board on your opponent's side, there is enough space for comeback later. Core of the deck is pretty much stable, you pretty much always can find some ramp or at least cycle. Our big guys team can be different, at some point i was testing Yogg, Yshaarj, Geddon, new Hogger, Cairne, Chillmaw and other cards. The only card i didn't test and i assume it should be good is Soggoth, i just don't have him to my shame.
It took me two and a half years. Yeah, i'm slow and lowskilled. But today i'm gonna pretend like i'm good at Hearthstone. Also, how would you rate my homebrew deck (in attachments) i used throughout last hundred wins?
Sorry, but your troll-detector is broken badly. I had a break(i guess i chose wrong time for it) and my Heartpwn post history proves it - didn't post/comment anything long time, although before was doing it every day.
I'm not whining because of recent changes, i'm ok with that, i'm happily waiting upcoming new decks. I was just asking for little advices how to not suck in these last few days of old meta.
So, i had a break from HS for a while, about month long. Came back this week and none of my old decks seems to work. Handlock - nerfed, oil rogue - nerfed, midrange druid - destroyed. Control warrior is ok, but doesn't really fit meta as of today. Site database seems to lean towards future theorycrafting rather than usual ladder decks presenting, so i wasn't able to find something here as i hoped to. What should i play? Something controllish, preferable.
Not at all. There are really few minions you want on the battlefield without battlecry in CW such as it is nowadays. Maybe it will be different in standard though.
That's very superficial understanding of what Fatigue warrior is. Armor is not a goal, it's a tool. Goal is to win the long run, mainly focusing on drawing as little cards as possible, using your cards(read removals) more efficient than your opponent so you don't suffer from lack of cards. Battle rage does the opposite it's probably the single worst card for fatigue warrior. Basically the only card draw you can play in fatigue decks is Coldlight Oracle, due to obvious reasons.
That's the perfect example of Fatigue warrior. Look what do we have here - NOTHING but removals and armor/life gain. 0 card draw.
Well, you don't understand how this type of deck works then. Minions in fatigue warrior, sure. You might as well play Feugen/Stalagg in Freeze mage then, with the same success.
