posted a message on Is Heroes of the Storm worth the time?

Never really got into DOTA or LoL. HOTS is easy to get into, the matches aren't overly long, most will run you about 30 minutes. Its fun, and you don't need to buy a hero, they have ones that rotate. All in all if you weren't super into LoL or DOTA i would check it out. I like it and its something that you can just play a match or two and call it a day if your busy. There are skills and while the game isn't super individual based( one person will not carry your team) having good team members does help. As for DOTA or LoL i find that people who plays those games are pretty set at only playing those games. I am sure there are certainly those who branch out but its my experience from asking my friends who play a LOT of LoL or DOTA.

you can try to post on the blizzard forums for bugs or i believe make a blue post on this site. This happened with nax so i am not that surprised that it happened again with blackrock. Sorry to hear that it happened but i know how you feel it happened to me with nax. they should refund the gold eventually.

depends on the decks you are commonly playing against. I don't run those much but if certain ranks are taunt heavy etc i could see that potentially having worth.

If you are happy and content, that is all that really matters i would imagine. If it gives you pleasure to drink some whiskey or (whatever your particular alcoholic beverage is) and play keep doing it. I think some people get too involved in what other people "should" enjoy. AKA the people who are happy they are free to play and think others should follow their way to play the game. Not hating on free to play either just think people should play how they want and leave it at that. That said i have spent some money on the game and i have no regrets so i can partially understand where you are coming from.

posted a message on Why No Paladin Hard Removal??

As stated above Paladin has equality + avenging wraith/pyro/consecration. Its one of the best combos in the game imo and while the other Paladin class cards aren't exactly removal aldor peacekeeper and humility do a good job as well of dealing with big minions. I feel its a balance thing and who knows maybe in the future Paladin will get hard removal but i doubt it. The class is pretty well balanced when it comes to dealing with individual big minions. Aggro is the bigger issue for Paladin.

posted a message on Which Legendary to craft?

It really depends on if you want to stick with Mage or if you plan on experimenting with other decks. I would recommend making the neutral legendaries first so my vote goes for Sylvanas, instead of Alexstrasza. Alexstrasza was my first legendary and is my favorite but she is far less useful as she doesn't fit into as many decks as Sylvanas does. However, If you want to stick with control mage then i would go with Alexstrasza.

    Quote from Rathial »

I spent all of my gold on packs and only got gazlowe as my ONLY legendary. Super not worth T_T I did get a bunch of epics but no legendary stuff :(

Shouldn't the average results for that amount have been around 3-4 legendaries?

Just because the average is 1 in 20 doesn't mean you can't have less. Some people will have more than 4, some will have none, etc etc. The average combines all of those results.

posted a message on Disenchant Shaman cards and go to Paladin?

I love Paladin but if you are looking for a class to rank with i would advise to pick a different one or at the very least run another class with it. Paladin is fun to play if you like control decks. It has its aggro variations but other classes allow the construction of better aggro decks. Still as others have pointed out i would wait. I never played hunter in the first few seasons of the game but decided to switch to it after nax. I ended up enjoying it a lot. You never know you might end up switching back to shaman. I would especially wait now as you never know what deck combinations people might come up with once gvg releases. As for the auctioneer ask yourself if you care about gold cards. If you don't DE it, but if you want a collection keep it.

posted a message on Hearthstone The Ultra RNG Game

I think until we see the rest of the cards its far too early to say all of the cards are RNG based. For all we know the rest of the cards will not have a huge RNG factor. Also not every new card should be amazing and useful. Having cards that can be fun isn't a horrible thing. As long as most of the other cards aren't super RNG based i have no problem with the ones they have released so far.

What about Pit Lord, Bane of Doom, Southsea Captain and Shadowform i basically have 1200dust and i kinda want to craft that Ysera to finish my control pally deck, should i keep them or DE ?

I would say it depends on how badly you want Ysera. I waited a long time to get Tirion Fordring. Do i regret waiting? No because i was building my collection. If you don't care for building up your collection and those cards i say go for it. None of those cards currently really offer major value IMO but as others have pointed out that may change one day. Still you are very close to getting enough dust anyway so you might want to wait.

posted a message on nerf Mad Scientist?

Well mad scientist has a more specific use than Loot Hoarder. Only 3 classes can actually use him and of those 3 i think only 2 have good secrets. Loot hoarder can be played with all classes and draws any card for you. Mainly though in my experience with CCG's the cards get better over time. Why? To create incentive for people to buy the new packs, get the expansions etc.

posted a message on Top 3 Overpowered pally cards

Lets see run a silence, bait the aldor, and i have barely seen any Pallys that run avenge. Secret Pally is far from popular. Sorry but just because your deck might have a bad match up against Paladin doesn't mean the class needs a nerf. Zoo destroys any type of control Paladin.

    Quote from yoshizoom »

    Hello, thanks for the reply.

Well, I've tried zoolock most common version with Doomguard being the most high cost minion, as well as Ramp Druid:

    Control Ramp
Export to BBCode Export to Cockatrice Export to MarkDown Export to Html Clone this deck
    Minion (19) Ability (11)
    Loading Collection

    Zoolock Winrate: 50%

    Ramp Druid: 48%

I appreciate any advice on the duid deck, I really want to improve my Druid play.

I agree with DrWuggi playing another class involves time especially when you aren't used to playing it. I think that countering a strategy and playing it are different.

Another thing is that your deck lacks early game pressure which unfortunately is needed to counter zoo, that or near perfect draws. A lot of things might be contributing to why you are losing, your deck versus the decks that are common at the ranks you play, your plays etc.  As for improving your deck there are probably some better ramp decks out there that you could use as a guide. I wouldn't keep the iron bark protectors one yeti, and maybe even the ooze. I would definitely swap in an ancient of war. That said i am far from an expert on ramp druid.

But if a deck is bad, I will say it directly and not sugar coat it...then you wrote... If that opinion is "this deck has no potential to reach legend", then I will write so.

    2) If you want to dedicate your time spreading happiness then by all means. But threatening to report people who are honest and not sugarcoating everything is a bit harsh. Some people, including me, are blunt by culture.

    3) Maybe so. In that case I apologize. But I still disagree on that every deck can reach legend.

Okay so first there's no "threatening to report if you write in bad manners" its more an "encourage to report these comments" since these comments are not actual feedback and as Ggjeed says take time to back it up or don't make a comment. Im pretty sure that no one really wants to hear nor appreciate those nonsense comments.

You don't have to "sugarcoat" everything but to you should be encouraged to write things in a friendly manner, good that there is something we can agree on. As well, you dont need to take 30 minutes of your day to inspect it and come up with positive feed back, but if you think the deck is bad already you probably would know how to kinda fix it - or you dont and then you either comment how it could be change or dont comment at all.

I am going to side with the others on this. While yes i believe constructive criticism should involve an explanation as to why something is bad etc this is the internet. People don't care about your feelings and personally i believe that it is their right to say this deck is bad and write nothing more. The criticism might not be constructive in that case but its certainly not something that i would report someone for. An easier solution to your problem that involves much less work is to just ignore them. Take the comments that provide you with guidance and ignore those that amount to this deck sucks. You aren't going to change the internet or people on forums. Either individuals act courteously or they don't.

posted a message on I can only play decently as Shaman

What other classes have you tried? and it might just take finding the right deck. I did not play hunter often as a class and i have never felt comfortable with it but recently i have started playing it again and its been going great. Maybe you just need to switch up the deck you are using, it certainly helped me find the class more enjoyable.
