I'm also starting to run into issues with this particular Rogue build, which I'm starting to see a lot more on constructed. Always seems like they're able to take out my board while maintaining board presence while maintaining card advantage.
After trying out this deck I can say it is very impressive. It handles everything from the "Beef Stew" hyper aggro warlock (which I faced 3 times in a row in ladder play, all 3 conceded), to frost giant mages. I was a bit curious about the one Starfall and Bite, why not 2 Starfalls? After playing it though, 2 seems excessive and I'm still iffy on the Bite, but have found several uses for it. Great deck, I am really enjoying it. Trying to find ways to incorporate a bit of personal taste to it.
I've made it to rank 9 so far with this deck. Very fun and I love it.
I'm finding right now that in the current meta, I've been using Bite more often for the 4 armor than the 4 damage, especially when I'm just waiting to draw into my taunts.

Ditto in that sentiment, I usually use it to gain armor then attack the player to keep it. Might be better to put a second Healing Touch.
Thinking of putting Tinkmaster Overspark in as alternative late game removal of Taunts or opposing legends.or even as a desperation move vs zerg by turning a card draw into a Devilsaur.
Awesome, Im really glad people are still having success with this deck. I sitll use this thing more than any other deck I have put together just because of how consistent it still is. The only main changes I have made is that I pulled out the Ysera and swapped it for a Tinkmaster Overspark. I found that as awesome as Ysera is, it is just a little to much of a late game in a meta full of aggro. Tinkmaster Overspark just has a little more value against aggro as well as still being really strong against late game cards such as Ragnaros the Firelord and Tirion Fordring etc.
Its aslo crazy to see how much druids are being played right now as well. Almost every pro stream that I come across lately has been druids all pretty much with lists very similar to this as well.
Oh and yeah, I end up using Bite as like a mini heal if need be. I thought about using another healing touch, but I feel like I like the aspect of aslo doing 4 damage out of no where as well. Just another one of those druid cards that offers so much versatility which is why I like it.
Any thoughts on what i could switch the legendaries out for?
The legendaries is what makes the deck work. There is no equivalent for Ragnaros. There is no equivalent for Ysera. They are the game enders, you can try 8/8 taunts but they are very pale alternatives. Black Knight I guess could be substituted for a second Sunwalker I suppose. Thalnos serves two purposes, both are useful depending on board position. But I guess a Kobold will have to suffice I think.

Nozdormu wins you every game where you opponent has to go to the bathroom on turn 9.

Yeah it really is hard to replace some of the legendaries. Like the9tail said, there really are no replacments for ragnaros/ysera/sylvannas. Those cards are just so strong and provide a strength to any deck that makes them superior to most decks that dont run them.
Now dont get me wrong, Im not saying you have to have legendaries to be good at this game, or have legendaries to climb the ladder cause im sure there are people out there than can rank high with no legendaries, but it wont be easy. All that aside...
Thalnos could be a kobold geomancer, the black knight could be a sunwalker or any other solid 6 drop that fits with the theme of the deck. Ragnaros and ysera is a lot harder... personally I would go for another ancient of lore and maybe a faceless manipulator or just really any other big bomb that impacts the game heavy, I dont know what you personally own. Just try out different cards that you have and see what works for you, the template of the deck is very strong and even with out the legendaries will still climb you up some ranks.
If you are looking to find out which legendary to craft first, I highly suggest Sylvannas be your first followed by ragnaros.
Not sure if this will help, but this is my version of the espensive rampish druid, i'm calling it the low budget rampish druid and it has been doing quite well in the ladder.
To me it sounds like one of those situations that you just randomly cant prepare for. Thing about this game and all ccg's is, its almost impossible to build a deck that will beat every deck. The best thing you can do is anticipate the meta game you expect to see and prepare your deck accordingly. Sometimes you just get beat by someone have a couple of midrange creatures out and them dropping Force of Nature + Savage Roar, or getting crushed for 15 by some totems you couldnt clear out and a Bloodlust. Its just gonna happen. Of course you can tailor your deck to be better in those types of situations, but then it would alter the deck and the next thing you know you are losing to the decks you used to beat consistently.
Anywho.... No matter who you are or what deck you play, sometimes you are just gonna get stomped and its gonna sting a bit. Im glad you like my decks though and am having success with them, always a good thing to hear :-)
im looking at the kist in the opening post but dont see yesera. what woukd u replace for her? i dont have nat pagle so currebtly making that substitute. cool deck
I dont use Ysera any more because she felt too slow and unnecessary in the list. Dont get me wrong, she is great when she sticks round for a round or 2, but she wasnt needed as a win condition. If you really want to play her the only card I feel that isnt necessary is Bite. She isnt a replacment for Nat Pagle by any means, but if you dont have one, just put her in and see how you feel about it.

I have Thalnos and Rags

It is way easier to craft and you could change the ancient of war for a 8/8
