This deck is ideal to play on lower ranks, even against really agressive decks (most of the times), because it can survive until Reno saves the day, and yet it rarely falls behind on the board because of the Summoning stone. The cheap spells with low AOE effects help to control the board as well in addition, so you could say that it is an interesting mixture of many mechanics, but I personally loved to play with it, even when I lost.
1. Too many card draws.
- If your mulligan sucks, you can't win an aggrodeck, who has amazing mulligan. Its just a fact and you shouldn't try to beat it.
- With too many card draws you will eventually lose automatically to control decks because they will just wait for you to lose the game.
2. Whats the lategame idea?
- Medivh, the Guardian is based on luck and Arcane Giant is easy to remove. So is that it? You just concede if you don't get lucky with Medivh? How about adding [card]Alexstrasza[/card]? Or maybe Kazakus for two 10 mana potions mixed with Brann? That way you can get full board hex and win any N'Zoth deck. Or fill board with 8/8 and 3 other minions, that died.
3. Where are the secrets?
- Ice Block is amazing combo with Reno Jackson.
- Ice Barrier even played on turn 3 vs full board can be helpful because it gives you 1 extra turn. So instead of losing T5 you get to throw you Reno and get back up, maybe followed by Flamestrike and enemy conceding.
Deck is good but as earlier mentioned in other comments, it only climbs to rank 10 and thats because this deck doesn't adjust. Its made to go against aggro and make them concede on turn 6 after Reno. So if you play against any other deck you can just concede on turn one.
Looks really nice.
What about Archmage Antonidas instead of Medivh, the Guardian to get advantage of all theses cheap spells ? Seems more consistant to me (especially in the control matchup).
(+ maybe Emperor Thaurissan to get more from Archmage Antonidas)
Ok, thanks for the answer
Could Inkmaster Solia be good in this deck? What would you replace?
Hey, any replacement for [card]Medivh, the Guardian[/card] and Summoning Stone ?
Looking good so far, it's definitely fun to play. Lost 1 of 4 games total due to my own greed.
I have a feeling that Brann Bronzebeard's presence is not required tho, most of the battlecries are draws and the deck has good enough draw as it is.
Also Coldlight Oracle often helps my opponent more than it helps me. So maybe another draw could replace it. I'd say Bloodmage Thalnos looks good. Wish I had it tho.
