Videos featuring the deck: (not optimal play)
Brass Knuckles is arguably slower, because Arcanite helps push for lethal much better and get through taunts. Think I'll take the 5 damage over 2 any day. And with the new legendary it can be 6 damage. Seems much better still and not slower when you factor in the pros over the cons.
Brass knuckles is WAY too slow for this deck. And you likely wont have any minions in your hand by the time you start getting value out of the BK attacks..
What about dropping one Arcanite Reaper in favor of one Brass Knuckles?
With Hobart Grapplehammer you get 9 damage for 4 mana compared to 12 damage from Arcanite Reaper. The extra buffs help your charge minions go face harder.
exactly, if you haven't won by turn 8 with this deck it's gg
Don't be such a timmy. These decks run there hand out and ride the edge of the seat to the finish out the game. Decks like this need to optimize their top deck damage to close out games after you're low on cards and/or start to lose board.
There is a reason we have the theorycraft tag.
I think this deck will be the primary counter to jade decks.
Probably a turn 5 win
lovin it. i gotta make room for Captain Greenskin though.
Greenskin is slows as hell , no face damage + dead card if you dont have a weapon . Absolute disaster for a smorc/tempo based deck .
I rather run Cursed Blade than Greenskin XD
( we all know how "good" that blade is )
nah he's worked out very well for me, but thanks.
I think I am going to play this or something that completely negates it.
Either way, good job and thanks for the picture!
It's the old version with just patches and hobart added? The Small Time Buccaneer is not worth it imo. It will suffer the same inconsistensy as the current version of pirate warrior I think.
that belong to the museum
Essentially it is a free card you do not need to draw.
Turn 1 your [card]N'Zoth's First Mate[/card] suddenly becomes a 2/2 with half charge, and you dont even need to spend an extra card from hand to do it. You also get 2 pirates on board, and not just 1.
Gives you a better chance for Bloodsail Cultist to proc a your opponent would have to clear one more pirate by turn three.
Exactly what thelinkor said, and if you have played card games you can understand how important deck thinning is.
Yes, so with N'zoth, Patches, Bloodsail and coin. You could have a 2/4 weapon and 3 pirates on turn 2. Huge tempo!
Thins your deck, controls the board from turn 1, does damage. It's pretty broken.
It thins your deck, it strengthens early game and it will never clog your hand like Rag or Malkorok would. This improves consistency massively.
