Zetalot's Priest deck.
Zetalot is a rank 38 EU legend player. He plays Priest almost exclusively. You can find him at http://www.twitch.tv/zetalot.
Strategy
One of the few Priest decks that doesn't rely on dragging a game to fatigue. Lots of strong AOE and some really fun finishers.
Key Combos
Good combos:
Auchenai Soulpriest + Circle of Healing = 4 mana Flamestrike
Wild Pyromancer + Power Word: Shield + other spells = more AOE
Wild Pyromancer + Holy Nova = 3 damage AOE
Northshire Cleric + Circle of Healing = potential massive card draw
Injured Blademaster + Circle of Healing = turn 3 with a 4/7 minion on board.
Finishing Moves:
Prophet Velen + Mind Blast = 9 mana Pyroblast
Holy Fire + Mind Blast = 8 mana Pyroblast + 5 hero health
Mulligans
Mulligan into early card control. Northshire Cleric is a keeper. Keep Circle of Healing for potential board clear later in game, or great card draw with Northshire Cleric and Injured Blademaster.
Meta Changes
Zetalot sometimes switches out Sunfury Protector for The Black Knight depending on what sorts of decks he is seeing more of. Sunfury for aggro and rush decks. The Black Knight for control decks.
Tech
The Sunfury Protector is your tech card and should be replaced as the meta warrants. If the meta is aggro heavy, keep the Sunfury. If the meta is control, replace with The Black Knight. If you're seeing a lot of weapon classes, swap with an Acidic Swamp Ooze. Lots of divine shields? Try a Blood Knight.
Cabal Shadow Priest is another card that excels in a meta mostly populated with aggro and rush decks. If the meta is more control oriented, switch him out for Big Game Hunter or Ragnaros the Firelord.

Further Discussion
Do you guys think Thalnos would fit in? :p
And I do have rag already but I dont know which card I could use instead of Velen and the only legendaries Ive got are thalnos and a geddon :p or could I implement any other cards?
The main reason Zeta doesn't use Thalnos is because it is a less useful Wild Pyromancer in most situations. Wild Pyromancer adds 1 extra damage to everything, even non-damaging spells, and with Shield and the ability to heal him, Wild Pyromancer can do a lot more than Thalnos, even trading up. The only benefit Thalnos has over Wild Pyromancer is the free draw when he dies, which isn't as important usually.
As for replacing Velen, Ragnaros works, but Velen is by far the better choice. Velen+Mind Blast is just too important in this meta to burst down Handlock and Miracle Rogue alike.
I think this deck looks really good but I have one question. Why is there no Shadow Word: Pain ?
Shadow Word: Pain isn't particularly useful in the current meta since most targets for it only cost 2-3 mana in the first place, making the card a one-for-one trade which can only be used reactively. Shadow Word: Death at least tends to cost significantly less than the minion it removes.
It looks like there's a couple different ways that small-damage AOEs can be done for relatively low cost, which should take care of any minion that would be an eligible target for Shadow Word: Pain in addition to destroying any other low-hp enemy minions.
Well this deck clearly doesnt work for meh, im at lvl 14 rank and theres no way i get over it, only zoo decks and they crush this deck like noo worries..i like cant even get any minions down sometime..
Vs Zoo, Try getting Pyromancer and some spells (PW: S, Holy Smite and so on).
And always ALWAYS keep/try looking for Auchenai + CoH, I guarantee you if you used this combo at turn 5 or 6 when they decide to overextend their board and go for it, it's a gg for you.
And of course Holy Nova as well, but it's too slow to be kept in your first hand.
OKei, thx i try that, the most annoying for me is hunter... gosh i hate them :D
Hehe, np. Hunter isn't really much of a problem since not all of his minions are 4 attack (the magic number).
Maybe if he got Misha out of Animal Companion or a taunted River Crocolisk but that's it.
Hunters got nerfed pretty hard after that increase of UtH to 3 mana, and since Priests doesn't actually depend on having so many minions, this won't be really a problem. Just try to heal, keep his board clean, don't overextend your board since it's not really needed as a Priest.
What could I substitute for Velen?
malygos
Probably Ragnaros. Velen's power is that it immediately allows the use of a spell, if you play him at 9 or 10 mana. Ragnaros can simulate this on a more random nature, but it doesn't need another card used to do the damage. However Velen is the reason you run Mind blast in the deck, so if you replace him, you eventually open 2 slots.
+1. opened a Velen last week and decided to give this a shot (+1 Venture Co, -1 Sylvanas since I don't have her yet). Enjoying it so far, games don't drag into fatigue as much, as advertised.
A good idea for this list is to add Abusive Sergeants or Dark Iron Dwarf, in order to make your Shadow Words better. Probably the Dark Iron Dwarf, since the body is a nice threat if it stays. It's a shame to die from 4strength minions that you need to go out of your way to kill.
Have you considered running a Faceless Manipulator in this deck?
I ran one for a bit, it's not a bad card but doesn't really synergize. Sat in my hand most games. Combos awesomely with Shadow Word: Death but usually when you clone your opponent's bombs they still have the tempo.
He recently swapped Sylvanas Windrunner out for a Venture Co. Mercenary, useful to bait Big Game Hunter.
I agree. This deck requires a lot more skill and thought to be put into it. Knowing when to play a certain card and when to hold off can easily cost you the game with this deck. Being able to put my Velen into a viable deck is also pretty awesome lol....But ya, if you're doing terribly with this deck, its you, not the deck.
I'm really confused why everyone is using the Velen+Mind Blast combo now. I use Rag & Ysera and they work so much better on their own and can kill from above 10 life.
9 wins in a row, 4 at full health
1 Loss to a control mage
LOVE this deck, such control, can beat almost anyting
