Hello! My name is KevinStar, I'm a experienced hearthstone player. This is my first uploaded deck that did get so much support so thank you ! With the new cards from One Night in Karazhan (exept Purify) we resurrected Priest to a certain degree. So let's get right into the news...I mean deck
THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:
You can use Barnes to ressurect Auchenai Soupriest to use it with circle combo or even with the Flash Heal.
Be careful with Auchenai Soulpriest and Priest of the Fiest. Some people would say why run both of them but the Priest of the Feast can boost you life very high and the Auchenai Soulpriest is very important for clearing the board with your heals.
Your Nțzoth, The Corruptor will spawn more deathrattles when you resurrect your deathrattle minions. So you get more value for that
STRATEGY
- Early game: You really need to draw Injured Blademaster or Barnes. If you are playing against a zoo or an aggro deck you should considering Keeping circle of Healing and Auchenai Soulpriest.
Circle of Healing is a good card to keep becouse it has combos both with Auchenai Soulpriest and Injured Blademaster - Mid / End Game: After your minions died (ex Injured Blademster Priest of the Feast,Auchenai Soulpriest and the minion spawned from Barnes)you can start to get value from your resurrect cards.Keep in mind the board clears! You have the end game power Nțzoth, The Corruptor
MATCHUPS & MULLIGANS
-
WARRIOR - Shadow Word: Pain, Injured Blademaster, Priest of the Fiest, Circle of Healing,Barnes. Versus Control it is important that you dont play into his Brawl. You should get some pressure early on with some tempo Resurrection.Versus Dragon you need your board clears Excavated Evil being very good against your opponent's minions
-
MAGE - Shadow Word: Pain, Injured Blademaster, Priest of the Fiest, Circle of Healing,Barnes. Versustempo mage it is important to get the Pain early to kill the minions to not get beat downIt is a hard matchup but you need tomake some tempo turns.
-
Paladin -Shadow Word: Pain, Injured Blademaster, Priest of the Fiest, Circle of Healing,Barnes
-
Shaman -Shadow Word: Pain, Injured Blademaster, Priest of the Fiest, Circle of Healing, Auchenai Soulpriest
-
Rogue: -Shadow Word: Pain, Injured Blademaster, Priest of the Fiest, Circle of Healing, Auchenai Soulpriest
-
Priest: - Injured Blademaster, Priest of the Fiest, Circle of Healing, Auchenai Soulpriest, Barnes
-

-
Druid --Shadow Word: Pain, Injured Blademaster, Priest of the Fiest, Circle of Healing,, Barnes
- Warlock--Shadow Word: Pain, Injured Blademaster, Priest of the Fiest, Circle of Healing, Auchenai Soulpriest
You can replace 2xEntomb with 2xWild Pyromancer if you want more power vs aggro. But I think maybe 1 Pyromancer it is ok
This is a video from someone that asked me if I can post his video,so you can watch some games here:
Not the OP, but I've played quite a bit of a similar deck. The problem with Museum Curator is you don't want to resurrect it and you don't want Barnes to pull it. You really want injured blademaster or Barnes early game so that your ressurect and Onyx bishop get really good value. Museum Curator would make that combination much worse, especially if you play it on curve on turn 2.
Awesome deck but I just did 1 change to match the current meta:
-1 Barnes +1 Harrison Jones
The reason? I was barely getting value out of Barnes and right now there is so many Medivh Staff and Control Warrior, it is just too much value to skip on!
yes I understand that but I couldn't find any other card to remove for Harrison, any suggestion maybe? So far so good, I'm lvl 12 at the moment progressing steadily.
entomb
am I the only one to only face Control Warrior with Malchezar? Removing an entomb is pure suicide :/
This deck needs 2 pyros. It makes your revives and Barnes a bit more inconsistent, but the value provided against aggro can not be understated. Sub out some combination of SW Pain, SW Death, and Entomb to fit them in.
Lack Cairne, subbed in a Justicar Trueheart for the heals...
this deck is insanely bad
This deck would be good if you could actually do damage to the opponent. There is absolutely no way do deal 30 damage. Either you play against control and get your board cleared or you go against aggro and the beat you in a face race. I love the idea, but there isn't enough gas in the tank to finish off an opponent.
There is much to be said about reviving strong minions like Blademaster and shade...over and over. I took a similar build pretty far before the season ended. This style of deck wins by attrition, they almost always run out of removal options before you run out of minions and revived minions. You simply outvalue.
The only times it's tough are aggro shaman decks and aggro hunter, but then more than manageable. You simply need to survive the first 4 turns or so, then give preference to casting priest of the feast above others. Once you start reviving priests the healing will take you long into the endgame.
I dropped 1 Entomb for a SW:Horror specifically to deal with zoo, flood pally and bloodlust shaman. Very very powerful. I almost want to run 2, except its mostly a dead card against every other list.
I used this deck to beat Heroic Loatheb today.
From my experience, the Barnes/N'Zoth versions of Resurrect priest are far too greedy and inconsistent. I'm also a fan of Pyro's and Holy Smite's over Auchenai + CoH + Flash Heals. Auchenai is rather anti synergy with priest of the feast. Also, the pyro route will open up two card slots for you. I've also been a big fan of shadow madness in this meta. It's good against aggro and also works well against midrange decks that try to utilize barnes.
There's no tempo swing. That's why people like Amaz use Ysera to try and get a few swing cards. If you are losing with this deck, you keep losing the match. Your only turn around is N'Zoth and Soulpriest combo.
And NOW, Prince Malechazar... holy shit he's good in priest.
I agree. I use Kibler's version of ressurrect priest that doens't run Auchenai. I've had ~70% winrate from 18-11. The only matchup I really have struggled against is midrange hunter when they pull off back to back Call of the Wild :(
there can be a lot of variations to this deck, but for all trying to play this on ladder I would def replace one death, flash heal, or entomb for a pyro or maybe even two pyros for aggro match ups. I also accidently put two holy novas in and replaced a shifting shade and a bishop for them and had a lot of success. I'm going to try and run this deck and its variations to counter hunters cus there are a lot out there right now
Thats a losers deck. Its way to slow and mashed down do easy. CRAP !!!
Gosh this deck is so dependent on luck. 6 straight losses. You either win drawing well or lost to tempo badly.
yeah its not an auto pilot deck like most.
