Hello! My name is KevinStar, I'm a experienced hearthstone player. This is my first uploaded deck that did get so much support so thank you ! With the new cards from One Night in Karazhan (exept Purify) we resurrected Priest to a certain degree. So let's get right into the news...I mean deck
THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:
You can use Barnes to ressurect Auchenai Soupriest to use it with circle combo or even with the Flash Heal.
Be careful with Auchenai Soulpriest and Priest of the Fiest. Some people would say why run both of them but the Priest of the Feast can boost you life very high and the Auchenai Soulpriest is very important for clearing the board with your heals.
Your Nțzoth, The Corruptor will spawn more deathrattles when you resurrect your deathrattle minions. So you get more value for that
STRATEGY
- Early game: You really need to draw Injured Blademaster or Barnes. If you are playing against a zoo or an aggro deck you should considering Keeping circle of Healing and Auchenai Soulpriest.
Circle of Healing is a good card to keep becouse it has combos both with Auchenai Soulpriest and Injured Blademaster - Mid / End Game: After your minions died (ex Injured Blademster Priest of the Feast,Auchenai Soulpriest and the minion spawned from Barnes)you can start to get value from your resurrect cards.Keep in mind the board clears! You have the end game power Nțzoth, The Corruptor
MATCHUPS & MULLIGANS
-
WARRIOR - Shadow Word: Pain, Injured Blademaster, Priest of the Fiest, Circle of Healing,Barnes. Versus Control it is important that you dont play into his Brawl. You should get some pressure early on with some tempo Resurrection.Versus Dragon you need your board clears Excavated Evil being very good against your opponent's minions
-
MAGE - Shadow Word: Pain, Injured Blademaster, Priest of the Fiest, Circle of Healing,Barnes. Versustempo mage it is important to get the Pain early to kill the minions to not get beat downIt is a hard matchup but you need tomake some tempo turns.
-
Paladin -Shadow Word: Pain, Injured Blademaster, Priest of the Fiest, Circle of Healing,Barnes
-
Shaman -Shadow Word: Pain, Injured Blademaster, Priest of the Fiest, Circle of Healing, Auchenai Soulpriest
-
Rogue: -Shadow Word: Pain, Injured Blademaster, Priest of the Fiest, Circle of Healing, Auchenai Soulpriest
-
Priest: - Injured Blademaster, Priest of the Fiest, Circle of Healing, Auchenai Soulpriest, Barnes
-
Hunter --Shadow Word: Pain, Injured Blademaster, Priest of the Fiest, Circle of Healing, Auchenai Soulpriest
-
Druid --Shadow Word: Pain, Injured Blademaster, Priest of the Fiest, Circle of Healing,, Barnes
- Warlock--Shadow Word: Pain, Injured Blademaster, Priest of the Fiest, Circle of Healing, Auchenai Soulpriest
You can replace 2xEntomb with 2xWild Pyromancer if you want more power vs aggro. But I think maybe 1 Pyromancer it is ok
This is a video from someone that asked me if I can post his video,so you can watch some games here:
This is not a good deck because it is inconsistent and slow. It does work against priest vs priest quite well, but that is about it. You will, however, continue to suffer the wrath of Call of the Wild and Ramp Druid, simply because there are no answers in this deck or elsewhere to deal with these issues.
Onyx Bishop, while a nice compliment to priest in many ways, is not enough to bring Priest out of the gutter.
Priest needs an AoE that doesn't suck and does not hurt his side of the board, and we currently do not have that.
that 3 damage to your side of the board isn't really a threat with these minions (as long as you don't use the shitty hoarders).
I tried making a ''reanimator'' priest too , my idea at first was a tempo priest but the control warrior matchuo was too hard , so i switched on a nzoth resurrect priest , my list was exatly the same of this one , maybe different for 1-2 cards and i noticed that this deck cant be solid ,the biggest problem is card draw : loat horder is the answer but you never wanna play it on first turns couse resurrect injured blademaster is way better .. soo resurrect priest is still not viable in my opinion , yeah in some games you 'resurrect' blademaster like 3 times but if you enter in the loot hoarder resurrect loop youre fucked against every deck .. (a normal nzoth deck is way more solid)
Hoarder sucks pp and you only need 1 evil. Put Brann and confessor in for the lulz
This is probably one of the greediest decks I've seen for priest for a while, and that's the opposite of what priest decks should be right now. Barnes, Onyx Bishop, and Resurrect seem so inconsistent in this deck (getting extra Loot Hoarders and Auchenai Soulpriests is not a good thing), and the synergies in this deck are so inconsistent with each other that I can't imagine the high value cards in this deck could even get consistent value. There's so much risk due to the RNG rolls and the Auchenais that I'm shocked people are actually upvoting this. Does anyone really think taking two trucks plus two trucks equals a really big truck? And please, don't ask for upvotes before making a guide; how this has so many is completely beyond me.
Getting soulpriest back is baller as fuck what are you smoking. Agreed about the hoarders, put Brann and Confessor in
Not when it's in a pretty clutch situation, and you lose the ability to heal your minions/hero until you or your opponent kills it off. Of course, you can hero power it to death, but that's terrible tempo, and you'd probably be dead by then if it's on full health anyway.
I've been laddering with priest for the last 3 months and I can tell this build is going nowhere, too slow early game and your big guys don't do anything fast enough to save you.
The problem have never been card advantage where this build aims...
Similar to the below deck:

Difference is yours doesn't run priest of the feast but has extra SW:D and Entomb. Makes sense, I'll try yours out. The priest of the feast cards helped me in a few aggro matchups, though.
Thx
Thinking of replacing 2x Shades with 2x Priest of the Feast
Priest of the feast has annoying anti-synergy with Soulpriests.
Lightwell is one of the shittiest cards in the game. If you got that back from a resurrect effect it would be disappointing at least, or screw you over if you had Auchenai out.
After using N'Zoth, I ended up with 3 Sylvannas' and 3 Shifting Shade. FeelsGoodMan. I'll keep testing this but, so far, so good. Lots of fun!
It's got enough tempo between soulpriest + circle + flash heal combo and shadow word death/pain, entomb, and excavated evil that I've always got board control. I'm still not sure about 2 Loot Hoarder's, though I'll keep testing.
Seems good. Lots of removals and only minions that are worth ressurecting with DR or injured blademaster bypassing battlecry. I lost against something like that cause I was outvalued by ressurected minions. Need to try it out ;)
Barnes hasn't really given me that much value so far. Going to continue testing.
Nice deck! Ill try it out and see if it works!
Nice deck. Bu I think we must find place for infested taunts.. What do you think?
CoH and flash heal were feeling like dead cards too often, so I pulled one of each, as well as one of the auchenai soulpriests, and added 2x infested tauren and a harvest golem. Haven't played enough to say if it's doing better or worse for me yet - but I feel like more minions/deathrattles might make it seem more consistent in certain matchups and since I've found this deck tends to get fairly low in health before stabilizing, I think a couple taunts in the resurrect-mix may be of help too.
This one looks solid!
