The only deck we have seen from Frodan's lineup in Seatstory V. He sweeped both Strifecro and Current World-Champion Ostkaka 3-0 with this deck only.
Creatively named 'BogChamp' as in the words of Frodan himself "You have to yell BOGCHAMP when you throw down a Bog Creeper!"
The deck has an interesting playstyle and was designed to hard counter Yogg Druid and Aggro Shaman in the Seatstory V cup, which so far, it has not failed to do so. Typically you will win the game due to having plenty of shaman's incredible removal such as Elemental Destruction & Stormcrack and exhausting your opponent with the insane value of cards like Bog Creeper, Earth Elemental, Thing from Below & Cairne Bloodhoof especially when combined with the brilliant effect of Ancestral Spirit & Faceless Manipulator. You also do not lack in the healing department with Healing Wave & Hallazeal the Ascended.
Combo ratings:
Earth Elemental or Thing from Below or Bog Creeper + Ancestral Spirit:
- Excellent Vs. Aggro and Zoo due to silence being at an all time low causing these types of decks to throw their burn / board into just 1 minion.
- Decent Vs. Control and Midrange due to creating a strong board presence that is hard for most classes to deal with. Priest being an exception to this rule.
Cairne Bloodhoof + Ancestral Spirit:
- Decent Vs. Aggro and Zoo, Since by this point in the game if you are alive with cards to spare, you are in a great position Vs. Aggro and against zoo this is a really tricky piece to take board control from as killing it results in Baine Bloodhoof being summoned and Cairne Bloodhoof returning, a sort of Matryoshka doll effect...
- Excellent Vs. Control & Midrange since again it is a strong, super sticky combo that most classes lack the tools to deal with in 1 turn. Again priest being an exception to this due to Entomb
Either of the above combos + 2nd Ancestral Spirit:
All around incredible vs any type of deck if you pull this off since it such an insane sequence to pull off. Again, not as good vs priest due to Ent-- ResidenSleeper
Either of the above combos + Faceless Manipulator
Vs. Aggro and Zoo you are literally never in a bad place (unless already dead) if you pull this off on one of the taunt creatures as you start to create the ultimate Matryoshka Doll of taunts
Vs. Control & Midrange you are literally never in a bad place regardless of using it on a taunt or Cairne Bloodhoof AND It's actually effective Vs. Priest since unless they pulled off Emperor Thaurissan while 2x Entomb in hand and they have 10 mana, then can not deal with deal with both your ultra-stick minions during the same turn, giving you an extra turn to hatch one of the minions creating even more!
Also chances are you wont be able to pull it off but the ultimate (Exodia) combo of the deck is pulling the above combo and then using ANOTHER Faceless Manipulator to create 3 'Egg' threats that will almost guarantee your board being filled with 7 Cairnes or high-value taunts...
As I am new to the concept I couldn't wager a guess at the full matchup winrates but from what I've heard, it's favoured heavily vs aggro shaman and yogg-druid, pretty good vs most control decks. And weak to 2x Shadow Word: Deaht 2x Entomb control priest.

I logged on today to find this deck. I've played against this twice in the last two days as a Zoo player and I've quit both times. This deck angers me as a Zoo player.
Pretty good deck. I was playing Dragon Priest and my opponent healed 14 with Healing Wave and 18 with Hallazeal which was crazy. It has a really slow early game though, which totally threw me off since I was able to take board control early with tempo dragon plays, and I basically kept that up for the rest of the match, surviving both elemental destructions and lightning storms. Is this a normal characteristic of the matchup, or should I be brutally worried next time I find one on ladder?
it depends what variant they run. I run a slightly different list that includes Yogg and rag
What about putting in Emperor Thaurissan? I have made midrange type shaman decks myself with the earth elemental/flamewreathed 7 + ancestral spirit combo, where I frequently got to play earth elemental + ancestral + faceless on 1 turn. Can be pretty crushing late game. No idea which card to replace it with.. Maybe somebody here can help ^^
I wanna make this deck but it's so expensive!
Far Sight is critical for this kind of deck IMO. Sylvanas can work great too in this deck, but I'm not sure if Cairne is what I'd go replacing myself.
Tempostorm plagiarized this exact decklist and they're saying Justsaiyan created it. Not giving any credit to Frodan

Frodan didnt make this deck himself, not sure who did but Frodan said in the Seatstory interview he didn't make it himself. https://youtu.be/e0CUqi-OfwU?t=1990 (33:10) here's him saying he didn't create it.
Frodan got the deck from Justsaiyan, he says so when interviewing after the matches he won.
Lets Purify the Bog Creeper... Oh its friendly minion
This deck is horribly inconsistent. Do not play.
This is actually the worst deck I've ever played. AVOID
Thats what everybody says about the new good decks when they dont take enough time to learn it. Frodan 3-0'd 3 different people in a row with this very deck so that is a very bold statement.
Can i replace Hallazeal the Ascended with Sylvanas Windrunner?
Unfortunately that would probably be a pretty significant downgrade. Hallazeal the Ascended is a pretty major source of healing when comboed with one of your AOE's and a big board. This is important in some of the faster matchups since it takes a bit of time to lay down a big taunt and hit it with Ancestral Spirit.
Oh okay then.
Sooooo, I have been trying this deck with 2 blood of ancients and it is working pretty well. You are already running two faceless, and have big taunts. Most people are just surprised to see them and aren't sure how to respond. Worst case is you put a 9/9 on the board that your opponent has to remove or die. I took down a cthun warrior with 30h and 30 armor, killed a priest that took me down to 1h, but couldn't do a point of damage or stop my 30/30. Might be worth a look for anyone that wants a challenge. You just have to time it right.
The thing about this deck is that it was a meta call on a specific tournament.
On ladder you face a more diverse collection of decks that will beat this list with ease. It still stands strong against most aggro variants, if you hate aggro enough to justify losing to most control.
Frodan is a pro player? I watched the stream when he was playing the new WOTOG cards pre-release and he was awful...
Unfortunately around rank 10 the ladder becomes overpopulated with the tier 1 Warrior decks, all of which should beat this deck if played properly. It does pretty well against most Aggro decks as long as you don't get a terrible draw. You can climb easily up to 10 then it starts getting really slow & games aren't in your advantage from the get-go.
