The only deck we have seen from Frodan's lineup in Seatstory V. He sweeped both Strifecro and Current World-Champion Ostkaka 3-0 with this deck only.
Creatively named 'BogChamp' as in the words of Frodan himself "You have to yell BOGCHAMP when you throw down a Bog Creeper!"
The deck has an interesting playstyle and was designed to hard counter Yogg Druid and Aggro Shaman in the Seatstory V cup, which so far, it has not failed to do so. Typically you will win the game due to having plenty of shaman's incredible removal such as Elemental Destruction & Stormcrack and exhausting your opponent with the insane value of cards like Bog Creeper, Earth Elemental, Thing from Below & Cairne Bloodhoof especially when combined with the brilliant effect of Ancestral Spirit & Faceless Manipulator. You also do not lack in the healing department with Healing Wave & Hallazeal the Ascended.
Combo ratings:
Earth Elemental or Thing from Below or Bog Creeper + Ancestral Spirit:
- Excellent Vs. Aggro and Zoo due to silence being at an all time low causing these types of decks to throw their burn / board into just 1 minion.
- Decent Vs. Control and Midrange due to creating a strong board presence that is hard for most classes to deal with. Priest being an exception to this rule.
Cairne Bloodhoof + Ancestral Spirit:
- Decent Vs. Aggro and Zoo, Since by this point in the game if you are alive with cards to spare, you are in a great position Vs. Aggro and against zoo this is a really tricky piece to take board control from as killing it results in Baine Bloodhoof being summoned and Cairne Bloodhoof returning, a sort of Matryoshka doll effect...
- Excellent Vs. Control & Midrange since again it is a strong, super sticky combo that most classes lack the tools to deal with in 1 turn. Again priest being an exception to this due to Entomb
Either of the above combos + 2nd Ancestral Spirit:
All around incredible vs any type of deck if you pull this off since it such an insane sequence to pull off. Again, not as good vs priest due to Ent-- ResidenSleeper
Either of the above combos + Faceless Manipulator
Vs. Aggro and Zoo you are literally never in a bad place (unless already dead) if you pull this off on one of the taunt creatures as you start to create the ultimate Matryoshka Doll of taunts
Vs. Control & Midrange you are literally never in a bad place regardless of using it on a taunt or Cairne Bloodhoof AND It's actually effective Vs. Priest since unless they pulled off Emperor Thaurissan while 2x Entomb in hand and they have 10 mana, then can not deal with deal with both your ultra-stick minions during the same turn, giving you an extra turn to hatch one of the minions creating even more!
Also chances are you wont be able to pull it off but the ultimate (Exodia) combo of the deck is pulling the above combo and then using ANOTHER Faceless Manipulator to create 3 'Egg' threats that will almost guarantee your board being filled with 7 Cairnes or high-value taunts...
As I am new to the concept I couldn't wager a guess at the full matchup winrates but from what I've heard, it's favoured heavily vs aggro shaman and yogg-druid, pretty good vs most control decks. And weak to 2x Shadow Word: Deaht 2x Entomb control priest.

This is the Handlock of Shaman decks. Simply awesome.
most people are afraid of totems because of midrange, they work as more of a red harring in this deck, which helps you survive in the early rounds.
Threw in a Y'shraaj, rage unbound and it has been succesful in the late game when i cant get a hold of taunts.... Im also testing Windfury which has a lot of potential and usually works well, but im not sure if its a good replacemant to any card
Y'shraaj is good but i would swap the doomsayers for sunwalkers otherwise it can backfire.
I put one in too and it works really well with some other high-end minions that I also bunched in.
honestly I still prefer to have faceless shamber instead of manipulator. One less mana means quicker access but it is silenceable. Because of how much I like this deck however I did Include one thing from below, one ancestral spirit (used to have two) and one bog creeper.
Played a C'thun priest who kept saying Wow and Thanks every play made as his C'thun grew stronger. Played 6 Bogs over a few rounds and pounded him into silence. Felt awesome. Love this deck...I've been playing with one Doomsayer and added a Harrison for functionality. Works well.
why priest player are so pussy.........
And we thought Aggro Shaman was cancerous...
Why Far Sight?
For an possible Earthelemental/Carine, Ancestral, Faceless Manipulator Combo, because no Emperor in this Deck
It can set up powerful combo turns similar to what Emperor does. Also it cycles you closer to the powerful cards that you can only run 2 of, similar to what cards like Loot Hoarder/Novice Engineer does.
Alright then
If I only had all this epic cards FeelsBadMan
I know the feel
Really cool deck. Definitely works well against the aggro meta in lower ranks, but I haven't matched up in a control game yet. I didn't have the Earth Elementals, so I swapped them out for Sunwalkers. I also changed the Mana Tide Totem for a Yogg-Saron, Hope's End.
3-0 at garbage rank (11), but those were good matchups - Zoolock, Aggro Shaman, and Beast Druid. I managed to pull off a Sunwalker + Ancestral Spirit + Faceless Manipulator combo by drawing the Faceless with Far Sight against the Aggro Shaman after he had used both of his own hexes. That pretty much just sealed the game on its own.
Thanks for posting this deck.
I wondered why Far Sight was getting play. My crappy Priest deck kept owning this one. (but, my crappy Priest deck loses to most everything else :( )
First game vs Priest i got wrecked,Mainly because he minecontrolled both of my deathrattle Bogs X
Priest counters this, however because priest is in such a bad position vs. everything else, it's still a good deck to run on ladder.
I think decent mulligan guide would not have been too much to ask.... Ow well, Lbdutchboy gave a pretty good mulligan guide on his site, running Flamewreathed Faceless instead of Bog Creeper.
Copied from his site at sectorone.eu:
Against Aggro : Doomsayer and Elemental Destruction are autokeeps. You keep your Flamewreathed Faceless if you get Doomsayerand The Coin
( since most aggro decks can’t beat a 7/7 on an empty board) and keep your overload removal if you already have theElemental Destruction.
Against Control: Far Sight is the MVP during this matchup. Most Classes can’t answer an early Flamewreathed Faceless or Earth Elemental with Ancestral Spirit on it. ( except Shaman with Hex). The matchup is bound to be a long one, so keeping cards likeEmperor Thaurissan is a good way to cheat them out as well.
