Here I was playing Hearthstone when I noticed a lot more people were using N'Zoth then usual. There were also C'Thun decks but that does not surprise me. And it kinda ruined some of my decks I was using so I was wondering how to stop Old Gods. And I came up with idea of trying out Mill Rogue. And honestly, it was entertaining watching Old Gods being ripped away, opponent's only "finish the game" card.

This deck resembles previous made Mill Rogue decks; it still had Brann, Vanish, Prep, Oracles and stuff like that. But with new expansion and cards removed from standard like Deathlordand Healbot, something else had to go in.

Explanation why some cards are in deck:

Preparation: To use cards like Vanish a lot easier. Basically to cheat at amount of cards you'd play otherwise.

Shadowstep: To reuse Coldlight Oracle is its main purpose, but you can also go with Earthen Farseer and Leeroy Jenkins.

Sir Finley Mrrgglton: To change your hero power to something you like more. Since Blade Flurry got nerfed, the dagger and Deadly Poison just don't seem that appealing anymore, so I decided to try to get rid of my hero power for healing, armor or fireblast.

Eviscerate: It's (mostly) 4 damage for 2 mana. So great to remove remaining health opponent has or for board control. But you probably knew that right?

Gang Up: One of key cards of deck. It's main reason to sue it is to have more than 2 Coldlight Oracle cards and to not reach fatigue until your opponent is already in it.

Sap: To destroy (if opponent holds 10 cards) or put opponents minion in hand. Not just to get rid of something annoying, but it's also easier to mill opponent.

Jeweled Scarab: It's a card draw that sometimes gives you Brann, Oracle or Farseer. And it's not from your deck so I put one of it in the deck.

Nat, the Darkfisher: One of reasons I thought of this deck was cause I got this one in a pack. In Mill Rogue, all I see on this card is good stuff. Also nice card against ago decks which usually run 2 health (sometimes 3, but then there is dagger) creatures and you can kill at least 2 of his minions.

Undercity Huckster: It's a good card. You can play it in early game and if it's destroyed you get card (again not from your deck) and usually that's ok card. I know I got Tirion with it. You can get cards that help you with mill like Naturalize. Also opponent might be thinking you are using N'zoth deck...which you won't in this case.

Undercity Huckster replaced for Backstab for earlier control.

Brann Bronzebeard: The deck has many battlecry minions, so it's only smart to use this guy. Specially if you try to mill your opponent faster. This and 2 Oracles = 8 cards for each player. "Amazing"

Coldlight Oracle: Another main card. This one is a must for every mill decks. Read the text to know why, if you don't know yet.

Earthen Ring Farseer: Deck needs some (but has more than "some") healing so might as well throw this guy in there. For easier board control or healing yourself.

Elise Starseeker: Now usually this card would be for finish the game (if you have to) with Golden Monkey, but in this case it lets you reach fatigue 1 turn later. And 1 turn not drawing is really significant sometimes to your survival.

Elise Starseeker replaced for SI:7 Agent, since it seems to do better job.

Refreshment Vendor: Deck needs more healing since Healbot and Dealthlord is gone, so this one will have to do. I mean it's a nice statline and usually you will have lower health then your opponent on turn 4. Mainly cause Dagger.

Cult Apothecary: He turned out to be an alright healer. If discounted with Emperor, combos with Brann or gets more value from Chickens (cause Leeroy); even better.

Cult Apothecary replaced for Fan of Knives so more control against agro and a card draw.

Dark Iron Skulker: Cause Blade Flurry is not in deck, this guy will have to do the trick. And cause of Brann, you will realize that combo won't work (unless opponent had Divine Shield)

Leeroy Jenkins: For the final push, desperate healing with Cult Apothecary or combo with Shadowstep. That's why I play him.

Leeroy Jenkins replaced for 2nd SI:7 Agent

Vanish: Another key card of this deck. To get whole board reset. To fill our opponents hand. To reunite with our Coldlight Oracle. To mill our opponents deck. Jessie! James!....that sounded a lot better in my head.

Emperor Thaurissan: A card that allows you to do more combos, play more Oracles, do more than just Vanish and to get rid of cards easier in case you might mill yourself D:

Emperor Thaurissan replaced for 2nd Fan of Knives

Replacements?

Tomb Pillager instead of Elise Starseeker (not best example, but it's a great 4 drop and you need more than 2 4 drops in deck)

Corrupted Seerr instead of Dark Iron Skulker (I was playing the card and it's not all too bad and it still harms already damaged minions. Also your Oracle won't die cause of it...it's something. Other card would be Pyromancer, but haven't tried that one out yet so, test on your own risk.

SI:7 Agent instead ofSir Finley Mrrgglton and Leeroy Jenkins (haven't tried it but, if you have to replace those 2 cards, might as well replace them with one of staple for Rogue cards)

Rest of unmentioned cards I believe are really significant in deck and don't think should be replaced with something else.

*Note 1: Use this deck at your own risk. I used it for fun mostly, but since most players seem to be using Old Gods, they usually have at least 5 cards in hand so easy mill. And if you mill Old God, over 40% of players will just concede.

*Note 2: I haven't tried to get high rank with it cause that is not what I'm doing. I play games for fun at most and quests for second. I see no reason to climb to legend for few golden cards and a cardback. I have reached rank 5 for those that "care" about that and I reached it cause I was farming gold.

*Note 3: Deck is most likely not perfect, but this is the kind I am able to use. If you think something else fits in there better, well then do that...to your own deck. I'll use mine, you use your version if you want to.
