This is the full LoE experience. Every card is unique so we can have Reno save us from cancer.
There is enough AoE and healing to deal with aggro, enough big cards to last us end game, and enough removal to handle whatever your opponent does.
It's a very balanced deck. I would say I'm around 65% win rate. I'm not an expert player or expert deck maker. I'm sure others can do better.
Do not use the Golden Monkey if you are behind. I've lost pretty much every match that I've used the monkey when behind. The Monkey is better saved for the way end when you are both running out of cards. They will have problems dealing with these minions. It's a good way to get rid of your junk cards leftover and trade em in for legendary minions.
Rafaam is awesome aswell. It has won me a few matches and I just recently added him. Not much to say here. Just pick the card that will best help you in the coming turns. Exapmle: Don't pick the +10/10 if Rafaam is your only minion on the field.
Reno is probably the real MVP though. He is just so awesome. It just shows that your whole deck can be unique and still be very competitive.
As with any deck, there are plenty of tech options. If you don't have a specific card, just ask and I'll think of an alternative.
Tech options: -1 Mal'Ganis, -1 Voidcaller, +1Brann Bronzebeard, +1 Earthen Ring Farseer.
-1 Acidic Swamp Ooze, +1 Harrison Jones if you have it otherwise even a Knife Juggler could work.
-1 Lord Jaraxxus, +1 any big card Ysera, Alexstrasza, Ragnaros the Firelord, etc.
Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks for an awesome expansion Blizzard!
How can this work without Dr. Boom, Sylvanas Windrunner, Big Game Hunter or Bane of Doom?
Great deck. Played it with following changes:
- 1x Acidic Swamp Ooze, - 1x Faceless Manipulator, - 1x Loatheb
+ 1x Haunted Creeper, + 1x Knife Juggler, + 1x Mal'Ganis
Easier to get something for early game. With Mal'Ganis Voidcaller is more useful.
Thank you for the feedback! I'm glad you like it. I added some tech options.
replacment for jaraxxus?
I've added to the OP. Any big card should work. Rag, Ysera, Alexstrasza.
Looks like a pretty fun deck to play and i really like the idea of using all of the new stuff, but why no Mal´Ganis, if you play Voidcaller ?
Actually, you are right. When I first did this online I had Mal'Ganis in it. I actually don't have him so I decided to switch him for Brann.
I played a couple of games with the Deck to day and went 9/4 on ladder around Rank 10. Rafaam did way better then i expected and overall it looked pretty solid. The only Thing is that Elise seems to be extremly bad i only got to play the monky one time in 13 Games and i lost that game because of it. Any good replacements?
That's awesome. I agree with you on Rafaam. He has really done some huge tempo swings for me.
I also agree that Elise is bad. I can say I've never had the Golden Monkey win anything for me. Every time I've used it I've lost. I wish it would only change minions in your deck and hand to legendary minions. Most of the time we still need the spells.
Now, a replacement for Elise.... I would normally say any decent 4 drop but we already have a good mount of 4 mana cards in the deck. You could go to a 5 drop or 3 drop depending on how you feel the curve of the deck already is. I seem to struggle a bit in the early game if I don't draw just right. I would probably learn toward a 3 drop personally. Mind control tech, Ogre Brute, Silver Hand Regent, or Scarlet Crusader would be my 3 drop picks.
