Hello everyone. I'm Peter, I come from Taiwan and Legendary ranking in ladder game for every seasons. I Often play arena in hearthstone, The best record is 6 times 12-win in 8 game. (75% of 12-win game)
The deck I want share today is Reno-Wlk. I just got a 21 winning streak from R5 to Legendary #4. (Now I am #1 in Asia). This deck has a lot of cards to handle different situation. lots of AE and Healing to compete with Aggro deck, Early Jaraxxus to beat control deck with 6/6 inferno.
The Video is Chinese, and some of the streaming is muted because of the music. But you can still watch the VOD to know how I use the deck, wish you will enjoy it.

Imp Gang Boss, Demonwrath, Zombie Chow are all decent options.
Comparing it to other reno decks like it it is safe to say the poweroverwelming can be cut because you have no Void terror to eat it with it kills a card for 2 card trade
if you don't want to swap Twisting nether for power the other recomendation is molten giant seeing as it it the other most situational card being unusable till around half hp and unplayable after you play lord J
This deck is very good as it is, tried moving cards around but this is the exact setup I'm running right now. Taking Loatheb in favor of Mountain Giant every now and then when I feel I'm facing almost no shamans.
This deck is really hard to play though (at least for me, just grabbed r10). If you are like me and only played aggro / midrange decks due to lack of cards, don't dump this deck if you go <50% winratio on it. It takes time to learn not only how to play it, but also how to play it against every matchup. However, it's incredibly fun to play.
Jaraxxus is the reason this deck has an edge over control decks like warrior and priest. Priests play very reactively to threats, and thus they often lack board presence. This makes it really easy to activate Jaraxxus versus them. Jaraxxus is so good versus Priest, that you should play him at 30hp if you can whenever you can. What I'm trying to say is: Jaraxxus poops on Priests and is your primary win condition vs. most non-aggro decks. I've had many a Control Warrior whittle me down to fatigue, but I stick it out because I know that the last card in my deck is Jaraxxus. Fatigue just doesn't matter when you can summon a 6/6 every turn, and you'll find yourself beating warriors down from 45 health. Without Jaraxxus, you'll be wondering where your win condition is in a lot of matchups.
Jaraxxus also adds consistency to the deck. With so many one-offs, sometimes you'll look at your hand of 5 spells, healbot and jaraxxus at 28 health and realize "if I don't top deck a big threat, I'm going to completely lose board presence/tempo." By playing jaraxxus in situations like this, you eliminate the need to top deck big threats, as you can create one every turn for 2 mana. I like Jaraxxus so much that I would replace the Refreshment Vendor with a Sunfury Protector to add to Jaraxxus's survivability.
ALSO, he has his own meme song, so no you can't replace him
Thanks a lot for a a Handlock deck I can try!! (Since I'm still missing a lot of cards for the basic Handlock)
This turned out to be excellent, even though I lost several due to misplays and miscalculations, but overall this is one excellent deck, and here's hoping it continues to be for the following seasons, since it so much fun! :D
Btw, hcm (or anyone who can help me), what's the strategy when dealing with Dreadlock? Most of the other decks I have a somewhat clear idea of what to do/expect, but not with Dreadlock. (Should I control, go face, tempo it?)
PD: Upvoted it to 666, lol
Is it possible to use Ysera instead of Lord Jaraxxus? I know they are completely different cards and I also know that Jaraxxus is pretty important here, but I dont have enough dust to make him right now.
I have the same problem, is it fine?
I found this deck a few weeks ago and was in the same boat as you two. Using Ysera in place of Lord Jaraxxus, I found some moderate success with the big body and you can pull off some neat tricks by pairing Ysera's Dream with your battlecries and particularly Reno - not to mention the beauty that is Ysera Awakens against any sort of aggro. Ysera is absolutely the best alternative to Lord Jaraxxus and can often help you control the board long enough to tap out your answers/heals/board clears. All that said, Lord Jaraxxus makes a much bigger impact on the game on average. Ysera relies on lucky dream cards and is punished by silence, Shrinkmeister/Cabal Shadow Priest, and is just in most cases, a much slower card. Whereas, Lord Jaraxxus gives you results: a 3/8 weapon in Blood Fury, heals you for up to 14, and grants you a 6/6 for 2 mana the following turn (unless you managed to have Lord Jaraxxus in your hand during an Emperor proc like a boss)
In closing, Ysera works and has some synergy with the deck but makes no impact the turn she is played. Jaraxxus and the tools at his disposal is thought to work better in the current meta.
What are Feugen and Stalagg doing in this deck? Seems like they are just kind of sitting around taking up space.
Are you serious or just dumb? Does the name Thaddius ring any bells?
Dread Infernal? Faceless Manipulator? lol... Feugen+Stalagg=Thaddius. Those three names are the key to success...
Ya, he's an 11/11 for 10 and that's good and all I guess, but they don't really synergize with the deck.
No man, c'mon... They actually synergize really well, they can bait silences, you can taunt them and everyone is scared of Thaddius, they waste everything on him. The only changes I made were Earthen Ring Farseer for Refreshment Vendor and Sunfury Protector for Acidic Swamp Ooze. Beware of Warlocks running 2x Sacrificial Pacts though...
Out of curiosity, what did you put in instead?
What about putting in twisting Nether and Dread Infernal instead of those two? Perhaps even the Abomination instead of one of them. That will help against the aggro decks.
Mulligan guide? Even though it's pretty hard to mulligan for anything when there's only one copy of everything =P
Try to mulligan for Reno Jackson when against anyone but Priest. Demonwrath and Hellfire vs aggro, Zombie Chow and a heal just in case.
I don't have Reno, what can I replace him with? Keepo
Magma Rager should be a very good replacement, unless you haven't bought the adventure he's from.
Thanks for the great advice, I'll go buy millhouse right now.
I went with a 97% winrate to legend with one change, Lorewalker Cho replacing Dr. Boom. Lorewalker Cho has a lot of synergy and is very strong against the control shamans rampaging on the ladder.
