Hey guys, im Zhoz! (Battletag Zhoz#2565)

I've been legend 4 times now, and at the moment I have reached rank 1 with this deck. I made this deck because I wanted to try to escalate the buff pala that I had seen some use. The deck focuses on the synergies between Eydis Darkbane and Fjola Lightbane and in general buffing your minions up to unknown heights to make favorable trades og just nuke your opponent in the face. Feel free to ask questions or give suggestions.

If the deck reaches 10+ upvotes I will take time to make a guide. Hope you have fun with the deck, if you play it competetive or just for fun - both works.

Edit 1: Removed one Consecraton for a Piloted Shredder
Edit 2: Removed Defender of Argus for Fjola Lightbane
Edit 3: Removed Equality for Consecration

Card Explanations:

Avenging Wrath:

The reason behind using this card is either to use it for board clearing og for finishing your opponent. The split damage is really good against aggro decks, such as rush paladin and hunter, where you can use it for board clearing and thereby gain tempo.

Fjola Lightbane and Eydis Darkbane:

The synergy of the deck relies a lot on these two. They are fine 3 drops even without the active, same stats as a Spider Tank, but they can help you either clear some smaller minions, push for damage or make really good trades.

Coghammer:

In general just an insanely good weapon, can give you the perfect tempo and can in general be a gamechanger.

Blessing of Might and Blessing of Wisdom:

The deck focuses on putting a lot of annoying minions on the board with divine shield, and by buffing minions with divine shield up you can either do really good trades or you can push for lethal with a minion that is difficult to get rid of.

Loatheb:

Basically, the perfect scenario of this card is having a good board control and the putting this on the board. The opponent wont be able to throw a huge Flamestrike or something, and must put a minion, possibly even without taunt.

Sludge Belcher:

This card is good to protect your smaller minions, which you aswell wanna buff up. The belcher itself can be good to buff up aswell and is then also really difficult to get rid of. Finally, it is a good protector against facedecks.

Feel free to ask for explanations behind other of the cards or make suggestions to replacements.

Mulligans:

In general terms, your mulligan will for the most part be of these cards:

Argent SquireShielded MinibotMuster for Battle and Coghammer.

If you do have a 1 or 2 drop, you might wanna consider holding on to an Argent Protector

However, against some matchups, you have some specific cards, which you also wanna hold on to. Against warrior and priest, you should hold on to Truesilver Champion.

Matchups:

In general, the deck is favorable against midrange and semi-rush decks. Control priest and warrior can be difficult, however, with a decent draw, you can easily win those games.

Good against:
Midrange hunter, Midrange Shaman, Handlocks, Zoolocks, Midrange paladin, Secret Paladin

Bad matchups:
Control warrior, control priest, tempo mage, cancer hunter.

As can be seen in the picture below of my matches with the newest edition of the deck, the deck plays evenly against priest, hunter and mage, but has a really good winrate against the rest, especially paladins, where the winrate is 17/4 win/loss, which is a 81% winrate.
